It took around a week
for what? the festival? nope
one week was all it took for Hiruzen to forgive his boyfriend Danzo
The festival took about a month, it was supposed to rise people's spirits, not replace their mourning time
But well, after 1 month, the festival started, everyone had a unspoken rule: Don't talk about the last month, this is a very delicate equilibrium, people are sad and want to get happier, but they also don't want to remember... it is complicated

Four people can be seen together, preparing for the festival, but obviously these people are not just some nobodies, or else I wouldn't focus on them, duh
"What are you doing Shizu-sensei?" Kaede asked with a accusing glare

"... but worse still, you are FORCING them to wear clothes you chose? fu##ing pervert! you and Kakashi are the same type of people! I knew it, that is why both of you use masks!"
Kaede said as she quickly flickered away, taking Touka and Blizzard with her
and after that, Shizue stood there... her eyes unfocused looking at nothing, the only thing in her mind was
'Blizzard-chan and Touka-chan in yukatas...'

'When did I fall so low to be compared with Kakashi...?' But only silence answered her...
what did you even expect? she doesn't have a [Great sage] or a bijuu to talk to, and Ifrit isn't the talkative type
Kaede, Blizzard and Touka walked around Konoha, it was possible to see some destroyed buildings here and there, but everyone did their best to hide it for this festival alone
"Where do you two want to go?" Kaede asked, not having much thoughts on what to do after DESTROYING Shizue's heart (metaphorically, I feel that I need to explain that)
"Uhm, we could go play the shoot the target game?" Blizzard offered, not as shy when they were alone
"Nya!? No way! you have an eyesight thingy skill, that is cheating!" Touka immediately protested, as a close range fighter, she wasn't a fan of those games
"Are you saying that because you are bad at those games?" Blizzard asked, purely curious
"*Angry cat noises*" Touka made some incomprehensible sounds
"That is an understatement Blizzard... did you forget how when we fought Shizu for training she only almost hit her because she missed her lightning spear and Shizu dodged from your ice attack in that exact direction?" Kaede asked with a smirk
"Th-That isn't true! I had everything planned Nya!" Touka said with a bright red face, she did indeed almost miss her spear, and worse yet... they were like 2 meters apart
"*Giggle*... Ahhh, you two are just so similar..." Kaede said in a low voice
"Nya?"
"Nothing. What are we waiting for? let's get some street food, they are best during festivals!" Kaede said as she dragged Touka and Blizzard with her

Some time later, Kaede was walking around the village alone
Blizzard had to go back home because she got too many prizes in the shooting games, courtesy of her [Sharp eyesight]
And Touka, she went to see her clone bully some genins, because they aparently tried to catch her even during the festival, since that was the 'easiest' mission and had a high payout (because no one could before, so Hiruzen had to raise it)
Anyway, Kaede was alone (so sad...) walking around the village
'Uhm... what should I do? should I find someone to annoy?' Kaede asked herself, not sure of what to do, that is until she heard a familiar voice
"Oiroke-no-jutsu!"
normally, people wouldn't heard this, since it was said in a low voice, but Kaede had a good hearing, as any [Natural predator] would
Walking towards the voice, she saw the famous demon fox and the infamous super pervert
'I have a good idea, hey Sage can [Sealing master] create a seal to take pictures?'
<Affirmative>
'Neat! create the seal and use it to save this image' Kaede said mentally, and in less than a second the seal was done and used
<Affirmative. seal complete, image saved, would you like to store it?>
'Yes, you do that'
"Ara~ Naruto, I didn't know you were into this kind of thing..." Kaede said with a 'surprised' face
Jiraya's eyes shot open, he a fu**ing Sannin didn't feel a little girl approach him? did he turn old already?
Naruto on the other hand... he turned pale, it seems that Kaede has a [Talent] to run into him while he is in an embarrassing situation
"K-Kaede-ch-chan... uh... hi?" Naruto said, still transformed
"Tsk tsk, it seems that sensei had a big influence over you, huh?" Kaede said, not sure herself about what sensei she is talking about
"Uh... are you perhaps, Uchiha Kaede?" Jiraya asked, trying to diffuse the situation, he knew about Kaede from Hiruzen and some blabbering from Naruto
"Ehh... don't even think about it! I am not like Naruto who sells his dignity for.., whatever you offered him, you creep!" Kaede said in disgust as she stepped back
Jiraya almost fell onto his own face hearing that, never in his life has he been compared to Orochimaru (A.k.a. being insinuated as a pedo)
"T-That's not what I was going to ask!" Jiraya screamed back, but instead of Kaede, there was only silence around him
"When did she... Ah!?" Jiraya confused looked around, only now noticing that not even Naruto was there
"What in the world is happening today?" He asked himself

Walking around Konoha while dragging Naruto, who was transformed as a girl, Kaede made SURE to pass by everyone who knew Naruto, it is just a little prank
Now, you may ask... Why isn't Naruto undoing his transformation? Kaede is in contact with him, so sje messed his chakra control up with [Energy control]. Isn't that quite op? Why, yes it is!
Why didn't he run away? Who do you think Kaede is? her physical power is no joke!
Anyway, after taking Naruto... Sorry, Naruko for a walk, (God, that is so dumb) Kaede went to her training ground, not very much a fan of fireworks
'I used [Illusionist] to make people not notice me walking around, I hope that worked...

"Sigh..." Sighing to herself, Kaede looked towards konoha, just in time for the fireworks

Kaede saw how various fireworks took to the sky

One after another, each firework exploded into a shining show of colors, beautiful to almost anyone
Every colorful explosion reflected on Kaede's eyes, right now without any sharingan on them, every single explosion reflected perfectly, as if her eyes were mirrors
The only thing that could not be considered pretty on the scene was her expression, melancholic as her gaze got unfocused as she watched the fireworks from afar

Close by, in the bushes Shizue observed her student. Since the time they were put on the same team, she always thought they were similar
She thought that just like her, Maybe Kaede was also from 'another place', and points that reinforced her theory over the time,

if my theory is right, then she most probably lost her family, thrice! one on the 'other place', her original family of this word, since Kaede was orphan
and Sasuke's family, who treated her like family... poor girl, must have had it way harder than anyone can guess' Shizue thought as she looked at the stars, remembering the past, one last time
Just like when she said that it was the last time when she started her ninja career...
