Chapter – 9 ( Perfect Mini-rasengan)

Naruto wakes up, determined. "I'm going to meet Kakashi-sensei and ask him to teach me nature release jutsu," he decides. After getting ready, Naruto heads to Kakashi's house, but Kakashi isn't there. "Sigh, Kakashi-sensei must have gone on another mission," Naruto thinks. "Training with the Rasengan alone is getting boring."

Leaving Kakashi's house, Naruto heads to his training ground. He creates 30 clones as usual and splits them into 10 groups to practice. Frustrated, he thinks, "Why is my Rasengan the size of a bullet ? Thinking about it makes my head hurt. Maybe I'm not doing it right. I can't afford all those water balloons for practice. It's too expensive and I'll get scolded by the Third Hokage."

Naruto sighs again and starts practicing. Thanks to the shared experience of his shadow clones, their training memories transfer to him. However, when he tries on his own, his Rasengan is still the size of a cherry. "It looks like a Rasendan," he thinks. "It's stable but not powerful. Where am I going wrong?"

He continues practicing. Ten days later, Naruto's mini-Rasengan has become more stable. "Finally, I made this mini Rasengan stable," he says. "But how can I increase its size? I need to ask Kakashi-sensei about the Rasengan."

Naruto recalls, "I know Kakashi-sensei copied the Rasengan from Minato, (naruto's father), when he tried to infuse lightning chakra into it and failed, it transformed into Chidori." After thinking this over, he continues his training.

A week later, Naruto can perfect the mini-Rasengan with the help of two clones. He uses it to attack a tree, creating a small hole. "Not bad," he says. "So many failed attempts, but this force is too low. How can this jutsu attack enemies?" Naruto sits and thinks. "Gotcha! I just need to increase the mini-Rasengan's rotation speed."

Naruto summons clones and practices. Four weeks later, he creates a mini-Rasengan and attacks a tree. The Rasengan pierces deeper than before. "Wow! It's pierced deeper than my previous Rasengan. What if I concentrate more chakra?" Naruto wonders.

He creates another Rasengan with more concentrated chakra. "This time my target is that boulder." Naruto attacks the boulder with the mini-Rasengan, creating a hole before it dissipates. "Why does the mini-Rasengan disappear a few seconds after leaving my hand?" Naruto thinks. "In the original anime, naruto couldn't throw a Rasengan, but naruto could throw a Rasenshuriken. If the Rasengan leaves my hand and its chakra can't be maintained, how did Boruto throw his Rasengan?"

Naruto ponders, "Yes, that's it! Boruto subconsciously added wind infusion around his Rasengan, which maintained it. When will I learn nature release transformation?"

He continues his Rasengan training. One month later, Naruto can create a perfect mini-Rasengan without using clones. "Wow, I'm creating a mini-Rasengan without clones and it's perfect, but still small," he smiles. "I'm going to meet Kakashi-sensei."

Feeling accomplished, Naruto heads home and gets some sleep.
