Yao Zi's body immediately changes, evolving, growing a lot stronger, after it has fully assimilated the powers and cultivation base of the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly. As his snake body rapidly enlengthens, enlarging to around the size of an average full-grown adult arm length, roughly around 25 inches or so.
Afterwards, two spiky horns that resemble authentic grass blades, with curved edges and weird Damascus steel patterns on the surface of it, protruding out from the backside of Yao Zi's snakehead.
An hour or two into the rank up of his breakthrough spirit evolution, Yao Zi's body has finished reforming and thereby completed his evolution.
And in his new body, he felt several times stronger, with his overall spiritual power reservoir having more than quadrible his original puddle of spiritual power. And the feeling of achieving something great, it was overbearing and quite exhilarating, as he instinctively felt power pulsating from his body, and newfound strength stabilising as we speak.
'I've felt that I have become a lot more powerful.' Yao Zi commented, though his actual real combat strength doesn't really match up to a long time experienced or strong 100 years old spirit beast.
And that is because that particular 100 years old spirit beast has spent many years, decades of cultivating and steadily building up a wide set of a variety of skills and spirit beast abilities that may prove essential in the conquest of another spirit beast.
Overtime, Yao Zi's body has completely built up a certain level of resistance against the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly's paralysis toxins. With the rank up spirit evolution having accelerated his own personal growth, what would usually take weeks to build up antibodies to fight against the chemical enzyme of the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly's paralysis toxins, happened in under an hour or two.
It didn't take long for Yao Zi's body to return back to normal, and the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly's paralysis toxin to naturally dissipates. Its effect on his body gradually weakens over time due to his resistances skill.

'Well, neat! I've certainly gained a lot of blood essence points from my recent kill, killing the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly.' Yao Zi commented, as he then reads through all of his notification screen panels.
'Oh, this is interesting!' Yao Zi commented as he read something that manages to somehow sparked up his interest.
'It would seem that I've killed some Unhatched Green Monarch Butterfly Eggs, alongside their mother, that which gave me plenty of extra blood essence points.' Yao Zi inferred, based upon his gathered information and recent findings.
'Fascinating!' He commented.
'The 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly was likely pregnant, and was still carrying the unhatched eggs on her body, planning to find a safe place on the bushes or leaf to lay her eggs, but was unfortunately met end by encountering me.' Yao Zi clearly deducted, based upon logic and reasoning, which he was not wrong about.
'Moving on...' Yao Zi then decided to change the subject, as he then moves on to inspect the new skills that he recently acquired.
The {Dance of a Hundred Grass Blade} is an exclusive skill that he obtained after completely evolving into a 10 years old spirit beast, having officially passed the threshold where he is legally not classified as a normal ordinary wild beast anymore.
The {Dance of a Hundred Grass Blade} skill definitely allows for Yao Zi to summon a torrent of grass blades out from the ground, which he could freely manipulate and control just like Tang San's blue silver grass. But, the sharpness of his grass blades is enough to cut through skin and give papercuts.
It may not be as powerful and sharp as a knife, or overbearing like other spirit beast's innate spirit beast skill, but when the grass blades appeared in great numbers, surrounding the target, it is hard not to miss and deal significant damage to the enemy.
It would seem that after ingesting the carcass of the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly, Yao Zi has managed to successfully obtain a new skill through a mutation {Poison Synthesis}, which allows him to replicate the 10 years old Green Monarch Butterfly's paralysis toxins and then applies it to practical use.
Activating the skill, Yao Zi's snake fangs began to be able to secrete a small amount of paralysis venoms, which he could use to inflict a status paralysis condition through one of his snake bites.
And once the fiasco completely burns over, Yao Zi then decided to return back to hiding spot, and rest, for the time being, recuperating his body and mind, mainly recovering his mind. As the whole thing was quite plenty stressful, and he thanks God that the whole thing passed by quite peacefully.
After some time, an unsuspecting 10 (7) years old Forest Mice then wanders into the facility of Yao Zi's hunting territory, as the little mice then try their best to scavenge for any edible foods.

Spiritual power is thereby sucked out from withinside his body, travelling down towards the ground like a seismic wave, as numerous sharp grass blade then pierces out from the ground, surrounding the poor little figure of the 10 years old Forest Mice.
The 10 years old Forest Mice spirit beast definitely had no time to react, as the numerous versatile grass blades then quickly wrap themselves around the little body of the 10 years old Forest Mice, securely fasting the small creature in place. With the grass blades tightening up, its sharp edges cutting into the little 10 years old Forest Mice skin, giving some slight cuts and scratches.
