11 Thanos vs the Avengers (3)

[3rd POV]

The air brushed against his impenetrable purple skin as he made a rapid descent toward the top of Stark Tower where he could see the device used to open the portal.

With but a single leap he had covered the distance.

*Crash!!*

Thanos landed on top of the tower, and the roof cracked under the weight of his fall. He slowly stood up to his full height as he took in the surroundings.

He saw his subordinate Ebony with Loki's scepter walking in front of him. But he also saw the curvy woman with fiery red hair lying on the ground, unable to move.

Ebony came to him and kneeled while presenting the scepter. "The sceptre, my liege."

Thanos took the scepter from Ebony and took a moment to admire the intricate beauty of the weapon. But the thing that caught his eye the most was the infinity stone located at the tip of the scepter.

The original Thanos was quite careless in giving away the infinity stones to someone like Loki. He wasn't sure if it was genius or stupid.

'Probably stupid.' He shrugged.

"Well done, Ebony." He said and the old alien shook at the praise.

"I live to serve you, my lord." Ebony said, showing undying loyalty to him.

Thanos then walked towards the red-haired spy lying helplessly on the ground. He looked between her and the Black Widow.

'Let's try this out.' He thought to himself and extended the scepter in his hand until it reached her massive breast.

Hopefully, the fleshy mounds did not interfere with what he was going to do.

He felt the stone in the scepter react to his action and intention. It was also a surprise to him how easily he could command the mind stone.

"Corrupt." he said the word and a smoke of energy wisps out from the stone and reaches into Black Widow's heart.

Her body shook and her irises changed color. Then everything seemingly returned to normal, yet it was anything but.

Right now, Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff was completely under Thanos' command. Her mind had been twisted and controlled by the mind stone.

'Interesting.' He thought to himself as he observed Natasha who was now looking at him with devoted eyes.

"Let her go Ebony." He said and Ebony did not need to be told twice as he immediately freed Natasha from the telekinesis.

When she was free, Natasha did not have any intention of fleeing as she stood up and stayed. She was ready and excitedly waited to heed Thanos' commands.

Thanos then turned his attention to the device built by Selvig and the tesseract at the center of it.

He hummed as he pondered the next course of action. Then he turned around, as he decided what to do.

"Ebony. I am going to close the portal so you must return to the mothership and come back to Earth to fetch me." He said in a tone of finality and Ebony followed his command.

Had it been another person, Ebony would have rejected the reckless plan of putting his liege's life at risk but it was Thanos himself who gave the order so he didn't question it.

His lord must have a deeper plan than he couldn't comprehend. Something beyond his meager intelligence.

"I shall be back soon then." Ebony bowed for the final time before he flew up to the porta;/

Thanos watched as Ebony finally entered the portal. Then he used the scepter in his hand to break through the forcefield around the device and deactivated the portal.

*VOOOM*

With a hum, the portal closes, and with it the fabric of space. The Leviathan who couldn't fully get out in time was cut in half when the portal closed.

The huge body of the Leviathan fell to the city with an explosion, crushing the surrounding buildings.

Thanos put his hand forward and took the cube from the device. Now in his hand, he holds two of the infinity stones.

Thanos put the two artifacts - which hold the infinity stones - in the belt around his waist. With the two of them secured, Thanos turned to Natasha again.

He observed and secretly admired the alluring woman while walking in circles around her. With fiery red hair that curled down her head, she had a pretty face that set her apart from other women.

Her body was the definition of an hourglass figure. She had big confident breasts, a small curvy waist, and giant hips ended by long slender legs.

She stood like a model almost perpetually, with a slightly arching back with a thick, bubbly butt that added to the curve.

But what caught his attention was her gorgeous eyes which every proper Russian beauty had. They were dimly glowing due to the effect of the mind stone and her long eyelashes added to the cat-like eyes.

Her eyes alone were enough to send a man into a loop.

..

It reminds him of his wife who was also Russian and had similar eyes.

"How do you feel, Natasha." He asked, curious to know just how the mind stone was affecting her.

"I feel fulfilled," Natasha said with a shaky voice as she followed Thanos's every move with her eyes. He hummed, expecting more elaboration.

"I know you are controlling me. I know you did the same thing Loki did to clint." She said with a measured voice while Thanos raised his non-existent eyebrow.

"But I don't want to lose this feeling of...purpose." She said, holding her hand to her heart and looking up at Thanos with devoted and loving eyes.

"I feel loved. I feel like I have found a new purpose." She said while walking forward to Thanos.

'So she loves me?' Thanos thought to himself and what that entails.

Does that mean the mind stone twisted the person's mind into loving the user? Or was there something more?

He recalled what he knew of the Avengers movie and thought that maybe, the mind stone used a person's greatest desire as bait to control them.

Like Selvig who thought he was going to achieve something extraordinary when he finished building the portal or Clint who still acted like a soldier, but one who fought a meaningful war.

Maybe the stone somehow manipulated their mind into thinking that their desire was getting fulfilled as they obeyed orders.

If that was true, that means Natasha wanted a purpose more than just killing and she also wanted to feel loved and love.

Wasn't that such a tragic.

Thanos extended his hand and touched her cheeks. Natasha sucked in a breath when she felt his hand but quickly nuzzled lovingly to his touch.

"I wonder, how far are you willing to follow my orders." Thanos asked and Natasha looked at him with eyes full of love and determination.

"I will do anything." She said with all her heart.

Thanos continued feeling her cheek and ruffled her fiery hair before he pulled his hand back and gestured to the edge of the roof with his hand.

"Jump off then." He said.

Natasha looked at him and her eyes shook for a few moments before they quickly regained their firmness. She nodded and hesitantly walked towards the edge.

Her slow walking pace gained speed with each step before she sprinted. Then when she was at the edge, she jumped off from the roof.

..

..

"Oh," Thanos mumbled in surprise, "She really did it."

Then he turned around and walked away. He had no intention of keeping her around or saving her. The experiment went well and he learned quite a few things.

He looked down at the city and his eyes scanned through the different blocks of the city. The city was in flames and smoke rose everywhere.

The sound of gunshots and screams never subsided as everything was in chaos.

He grabbed the scepter on the belt and the stone in the scepter glowed bright and Thanos was finally able to see something which he would not have been able to without help.

An old building painted red. A sanctum.

A place where he knew sorccers lived. But most importantly, a place where another infinity stone was.

His face split into an evil grin again.

Until he heard something hit the place next to him. He immediately looked at it and saw that it was some kind of missile that was rapidly beeping, quicker and quicker.

*BOOOOMM!!!*

The roof of the Stark Tower was blown apart as Thanos fell down on the ground like a shooting star.

He crashed through two buildings before he finally settled on the ground a smokescreen was kicked up due to his fall.

He was not hurt by any means but that was annoying and a bit embarrassing.

"Let me start by saying I do not appreciate you killing me. I haven't even made it right with Pepper back then." came a voice in the sky.

Thanos looked up and what he saw made his blood boil with frustration and rage.

Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, was flying in the air while wearing his iron suit which was probably thousands of times more advanced than the Tony he killed wore.
