Ancient One

"Cassie-!"

That was all he could utter before his giant head exploded like a watermelon smashed by a hammer.

Brain matter and blood splurt out like a fountain as the ruined city was bathed in red and flesh.

Ant-Mas's body slowly fell onto the city, smashing and crushing everyone and everything in the area.

"One down~!"

The Mad Titan was covered in blood and pieces of brain. He landed on the ground with a thud as his eyes briefly scanned over Ant-Man's giant corpse, he made sure the insect was really dead.

Then suddenly, a pack of nano machine came flying and stick on his face, covering it and effectively blinding his sight.

*ROOOARRR!!!!* 

He heard a hair standing roar of madness as calamity personification crashed at his side. But Thanos was still able to react even though he was blinded.

He blocked the incoming punch, but the force was strong enough to send Thanos flying away like a canon. He crashed and rolled on the broken road, destroying cars and phone booths before he got on his knees and skidded to a stop.

He grabbed his face and tore off the nanomachine on his face, and he frowned in annoyance. 

Multiple missiles flew at him and exploded, burning and devastating everything but him. The searing flames that melted steel in an instant worked only to annoy him further.

Then came Hulk again with a giant truck in his hand. The 20-ton truck came smashing down on Thanos as he put his hand up.

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

Bruce Banner was not too smart at the moment. His mind was filled with nothing but wrath and the Hulk side of him took control.

Iron Man did not stay idle either as he shot energy blasts and missiles at Thanos whenever he saw an opening. And with his flight, he would dive down and deliver nasty attacks at the enemy before taking off to the sky again. 

He did not want to end up dead like Scott after all, so even though he was angry, Tony was careful.

"You MONSTER!!!" Hulk roared once more before throwing Thanos body on the ground and pummelling him with all his might.

Each of his hit was like a mountain falling on Thanos as the ground shook and caused earthquakes throughout the city. Thanos put his guard up as he bared the brunt force of Hulk's anger.

Around the 100th hit, Hulk's muscles got tired and showed a brief opening which Thanos took advantage of with no hesitation. Thanos grabbed Hulk's head and crushed it under his powerful grip.

Then he threw the green monster off him and stood up. His arms hurt and there was a a small trail of blood flowing from his mouth.

'Why am I playing around? Is this some kind of curse every Villain naturally had for the heroes to win?' Thanos asked himself, as he quickly realized that he was not using his power as effectively as he should have.

Or maybe at a certain threshold of power, people naturally tend to hold back unconsciously to match their enemy. He did not know.

The only thing he knew was that he was tired of fighting. He wanted to end everything soon.

So he leaped in the air, dodging the huge chunk of building Iron Man had thrown his way. He quickly reached Iron Man in the air but the guy managed to doge and blasted a missile at him and he descended on the ground faster than he went up.

*Crash!!*

'Urgh, That was lame.' Thanos thought to himself, he was certain he would've caught Iron Man and tear the genius apart.

But in the sky, Tony had too much mobility. It would not be easy to get him.

'Then the Hulk it is.' He decided and changes his Target before he ran towards Hulk and gave an earth-shattering hook at the jaw of the beast.

Hulk wobbled and tried resisting by throwing punches but Thanos played around the attacks with ease and quickly dismantled Hulk with his combat skills.

Hulk threw an overhand, it was slow and weak but Thanos leaned back as Hulk hit the ground. Thanos then elbowed him right on his back, specifically on his shoulder joint. It popped out,

Hulk roared in pain as his arm hung limply. In a fit of anger, he there another overhand with his other arm and Thanos did the same thing. Now he couldn't use both his arms anymore.

Thanos grabbed both of Hulk's limp arms and kicked his torso as hard as he could. Hulk's body flew off but since Thanos was holding both his hands tight, it tore off.

Hulk's armless body flew through multiple buildings as Thanso held the dismembered arm in both hands. Green blood painted the ground in an unnatural green as the muscle convulsed and moved even after it was torn off from the body.

Thanos dropped the arms and charged towards the fallen Hulk again, his fist clenched with every intention to end Hulk.

But right before he crushed Hulk, Iron Man came from the side to intercept his charge. Thanos smirked and quickly changed target again.

Thanos brought his arm up and smashed down on Iron Man before he crashed at his side. Iron Man was smashed on the ground and he immediately became immobile.

Then Thanos raised his arm again and smashed at Iron Man for the second time. But Iron Man used that time to quickly make a shield that reflected all the kinetic energy from the attack and the previous one.

Like the Black Panther suit stored and released kinetic energy. Iron Man's suit did the same thing.

Thanos felt a numbing pain in his arm and at that moment, he lost balance. Iron Man's shield immediately morphed into a giant arm-sword with a rocket booster at the end. The sharp end came to stab at Thanos' heart.

But Thanos was fast enough to grab the sword. He broke it and immediately returned the favor by stabbing Iron Man in the chest. Just like how it happened in Infinity War.

But Iron Man learns from his mistakes, Tha os never got to plunge the sword in Tony's heart. The broken sword in Thanos liquified and engulfed Thanos's hand before it morphed into the arm of the Iron Man suit.

Then with a blast of repulsive energy, Thanos was taken away as his own hand carried his entire body and he flew away like a jet.

*CRASH!!!*

Thanos crashed into a building far away. It had taken quite a while for him to get off the nanomachine arm.

Now he was probably a few good kilometers away.

"Annoying." He mumbled as he patted the dirt off his body. There were no more injuries visible on his body as it had already healed.

"I'll make sure I kill them this time." he said and got ready to sprint back to the location but a new precedence caught my attention.

"I'm afraid that would not be possible. They have already returned to their own universe."

A new voice suddenly rang out, alarming Thanos greatly because he could not pinpoint where the voice came from. His superhuman senses had failed him for the first time since he arrived.

"It is unlikely that they would return. Our universe would not align anymore." The voice was feminine and held ancient knowledge.

"Ancient One." Thanos called out as he looked around his surroundings in caution.
