Emily stared at his eyes straight and felt something happening inside her body.. she couldn't exactly point out what that was... But definitely not a comfortable one..
A knock on the door heard that made her to look away from his eyes and directed towards the door...
Ed refused to move and stared at her flawless face which lightened his heart "Come in!"..
She started to move from his trap but he didn't budge and trapped her more by placing his other free hand on the other side of her..
The door opened revealing James in his formals.. Emily's eyes widened seeing James as he started clenching his fist and rushed towards them and moving Ed from Emily by grabbing one of his trapping hand away from her and stood in between them..
"What are you doing Edmund?" He asked still clenching his fist... Emily noted his fist and held it gently trying to calm him down...
Edmund looked at their hands holding one another and a smirk developed in the corner of his lips...
"Excuse me! I'm having a deep conversation with my employee.. who are you to interfere us?!" He said in a mocking tone still with his plastered smirk and eyeing on Emily the whole time..
Emily got too awkward in that surrounding and held James hands showing him that she's nervous...
James gaze on Ed moved away from him as he noticed the grip on his hand and turned to face her.. at that time Edmund released his other hand from the side and walked towards his desk and leaned on it holding his hands across his chest.. looking at them with a sharp gaze...
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" James asked holding her face in his palms and made her looking in his eyes.. Emily was too nervous to speak as she could see Ed staring at them and that made her speechless.. and shook her head.
"Why would I hurt your little girlfriend? It's not my job though...I think... It was yours to begin with!"
James sighed deep and turned facing Ed, " I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation... But for your information she's MINE!"
Emily looked at him with disbelief and made a confused look which is visible like a glass to Edmund.. and she put her head down started fidgeting her fingers...
"Oh! I see!" Then he went to sit on his chair and placed an envelope on the desk "Here's your appointment order.. Get to work"
And continued doing his work
Emily hesitantly walked towards and grabbed the envelope "Thank you sir! I'll work hard"
Emily rushed out holding James hand and pulled him along with her...
"James! Thank you for protecting me.. I really appreciate it" she let out a gentle smile.
James gently pat her head "Go ahead fetch your dream!.." she smiled softly and bid her bye and turned to walk over to reception.
He turned and walked over to the exist.

"Okay Mam! From now on you will be going to our CEO's house and you will have to pick him up..." Emily looked at her with the utmost confused look 'What the hell?' she thought " And you'll be the one to arrange his schedules and have to remind him his meetings and his outdoor works..."
"Excuse me! What are you talking about? I'm here as a web designer! And why are you saying me to pick him up? I can't get you!" She asked her quick and looked her demanding for her answers.
Pushing his curtain Ed let out a chuckle seeing her with her hands on the table looking at the receptionist demanding for her answers.. and he let the curtain closed and walked over her chair to fetch his coat... Wearing it he placed his hands on his pants
"The Game Begins!".
Meanwhile in reception
"Sorry Mam you are here to work as his personal secretary and not a web designer... This is what your appointment order says....if you have doubt...." without letting her completing her sentence Emily grabbed a d looked for her position.... And the receptionist was correct.
"Let's go! We're late!" Emily flinched by the sudden stern voice and turned to look Edmund standing there putting his shades...
"Go? Where?" She asked him hesitantly...
"Ms. Gabriel you can explain her duties to her later.. for now give her my schedule for the day."
"Yes Boss! And Ms. Emily here's today's schedule".
Edmund left without even a taking a glimpse at her. After reaching the elevator Ed held the door "Why are you still standing there? We have to go now!" Emily rushed towards and stood behind him keeping her mouth zipped.
"Don't panic we're just going for a work outside.. don't leave or stay away from me.. just stay close and behind me... The place we're going now...isn't a good one."
Edmund made his conclusion and that left the confused Emily more confused.
