"And by the way he's the CEO OF DAVIS".

she stood there keeping her head low looking at her sandals and sighs with deep condolences for herself..
"Now do I have to go for a job hunt again...okay! Better I'll go now so that I can atleast not get fired from my part time job!"
She shook her head from side to side... Gripping the strap of her tightly and making a pout a little..
"Calm down Emy!! I've told you ... You are going to work here!!!"
She looked at him with absolute stare and took a deep breath..
"James stop!!! Stop giving me false hopes.. please!"
She closed her eyes because she knew she messed with a person that she shouldn't..
"Hey! I've promised you to get you a job and I'll keep my promise... Always!!"
"But.."
"No buts ... Now go back to home I'll call you...hmm!"
"Y-yeah"
"And hmm.. don't be late to work tomorrow..."
Emily raised her eyebrows with a look 'are you serious?' and tilted her head in disbelief
"James? Do you still think that he'll allow me to work here? I mean for REAL??"
James patted her head and held her cheeks making her to look straight in his eyes...giving assurance...
"Do I still look like I'm joking? Not get your way back to home.. I'll call you later."
Emily started walking to the exit.. she couldn't believe that she messed with one of the big shot and more than that her boss...
While she was heading near to the exit door she tripped and fell in her knees which made her groan in pain... She felt that she tripped on something and she looked at her sideways to see the object...
But that object turned out to be a black heels ... A really high pointed one... She looked up to look at the person who made her fall..
Her eyes widened and she gasped by looking at that person...
None another than the great actress Crystal Dyle.
She stood up and looked at her
"I'm so sorry mam! I've zoned out and I didn't see you there".
Crystal removed her glasses and came near to Emily and stood near her... Looking at her with perfect disgust coated in her face and made a glance from her head to toe and again returning back to her eyes..
"You! Don't dare to make any stupid moves.. if you even think about him..I'll choke you with my bare hands... understand" while uttering these words Crystal kept her pointed heels above Emily's sandals and applied pressure making Emily to hiss in pain..
Emily made her attempt to remove her foot from her but failed as the pain was unbearable..she closed her eyes shut that her eyes started tearing up and gasped as the intensity of the pain kept increasing..
She suddenly felt a sudden releif and she opened her eyes to see James holding Crystal by her arms pushing her the other side that made crystal stumble..
James gritted his teeth and with a furrow passing death glare to her..
And he looked back to see Emily's condition..
"Emy! Are you okay? Is your foot okay? Does it hurt much? James kept on asking questions and by wiping her tears off with his thumbs while placing his hands on her cheeks he looked at her with deep concern..
Emily sniffed before replying"I'm okay James..I'm fine" "Does it hurt much Emy??"
"A bit but don't worry I'll manage"
James again turned back while holding Emily's hand making her to stand behind him.
He gritted his teeth that made Crystal to gulp in fear...
Crystal might be a fearless creature but around DAVIS brothers it's completely different..because she exactly know what they are capable of... And it somehow made her regret her actions that happened now..
She denied to show the fear and covered up with an evil smirk...
"Oh!!! Sorry there handsome...I didn't see you.." at the end she left an nervous chuckle...
James leaned near her ear "If you dare to touch her again... I'll ruin you without even giving an second thought to it... UNDERSTAND"
His sudden raise in his voice made her flinch a bit... Fortunate for her the phone call saved her this time... She answered the call and quickly made herself away from them...
James glared at her until her figure vanishes from his eyesight... And he turned to look at Emy who's whining in pain...more like an breathy whining....
James knelt down to examine her hurted ankle and knee...which had an mild scratch... He took his hand cloth and wiped it gently without causing more pain to her...
He stood up and held her face in his palms wiping her tears off her cheeks and made an eye contact with her "I'll not let you get hurt hereafter...hmm... promise!!"
She smiled genuinely as a reply...
"So... You want me to carry you?! Or could you walk on your own??"
He asked with naughty smirk on his face...this sudden comment made her to blush and she blinked her eyes to snap out to reality.. and she slapped his arm which make James to laugh harder....
" I was just kidding you know... But look at your face.. looking like a tomato" then he just held his mouth and laughed like an crack head... This lasted for a few minutes until the passerby gave a weird look at the both.
"Okay! I'm Sorry yeah!!" James apologized and held her cheeks again "Shall we go now? But before that let's eat something... I'm hungry" James made a little innocent kid face that made Emily smile and nodded.
James held her hand and walked out ...
"Interesting!" As that person looked both of their acts by keeping his hands across their chest.. with an evil smirk plastered.."Let's see how much more you gonna play... Wait for me..I'll come when your time is near to end..until then enjoy.." that person left the place....
Meanwhile on the 5th floor Ed was looking each and every movement of James "Girlfriend huh? Let's see how this girl is gonna cope up with you... Who knows she might suffer a lot.. and her suffering will be her fate.."
