1 Two Mermaids were separated

"Let's play hide and seek because I am bored now," said a beautiful young mermaid to her fellow mermaid.

" Wow ! that's a great idea ," said the fellow mermaid with excitement.

Deep under the largest sea miles away from human habitation lived mermaids with some unique features. The two mermaids were part of the mermaid family and were best friends too .They used to do everything together and used to support each other as well. Everyone in mermaid community praised their friendship.

"Girls ,What are you doing up there ?Its not safe to stay at surface come down," said Sun's mom . Sun , the mermaid who introduced the idea to play hide and seek and her friend named Shine.

"OK, we will come soon. Don't worry mother ," replied Sun. Now they started to play hide and seek .Suddenly weather turned gloomy and storm was about to come . " I think we should go down as weather is not good",said Shine with scared look.

" Oh, So you are trying to avoid your turn to seek me .But this is not fair. Once you seek me then we will stop the game",said Sun.

Shine agreed on this and started to count to let Sun hide . Suddenly a strong Tide with full of energy came up to her and before she could react and it swept her away with it's flow . " God have some mercy on me ", prayed Shine with fear.

She got injured badly and swept up towards the beach of the sea. After sometime the tide was settled but she was badly injured and was in danger as she was totally unknown to humans and now humans could easily see her .

Young mermaids were never told about the danger that is the human who could kill and finish their existence .

As soon as the tide settled ,every mermaid came out and looked for Shine but unfortunately they found no presence of her .Shine's mother used her magic so that she could get the location Shine might had reached . But her presence wasn't found up to the limit she could apply her magic as that magic could only work within the boundary of mermaid's reach and away from humans.

" Shine , my dear where are you? " mother lost her hope that if Shine was safe. Everyone was sad. Soon they all used their magic and prepared a place where they could pray to god for her soul to rest in peace .

Before they could enter into the place Sun shouted ," Stop it. Stop this nonsense .What are you doing ? This ritual is for those who have passed away but she is still alive and I can feel it . " She started shouted around madly " Shine , where are you ? OK I am sorry and I promise you that from now on I will never insist you to seek me but everytime I will seek you. Tell me what do you want? But please don't do this . Your silence hurts me. Please come back. Shine...". Sun knelt down and broke into pieces in emotion . Everyone tried to convince her but she wasn't ready to accept .

In the other hand ,Shine was at the beach and injured .She was unable to move but still as she couldn't survive on land so she hardly managed herself to go into the sea but before she could move little in she found that her injury was to extreme and she was now not able for further move so she decided to take some rest there .

Fisherman ran towards the beach as the tide had offered most of the sea fishes to sweep towards the beach ."Hurray! god had done a great favour to us so that we can have our today's meal at least ", said one of the fisherman . They all joined their hand and prayed to god and thanked too.

One of the Fisherman while fishing saw her .She was taking rest and her lower body was fish like but she was human by upper appearance .This wonderful feature surprised him and he with the thought of surprising his little son secretly captured her and took her to his cottage .

" Son , come here. I will show you something which will definitely surprise you and you will be unable to believe in your eyes at all. Hurry up!" said the fisherman will great enthusiasm. He was so excited to make his son happy because it had been too long he stopped smiling and even talking properly after his mother's death .

"What's so surprising ,dad! It must be a big fish,isn't it ", said the son. He wasn't so interested because he had lost all his interest ,desire and wish since he lost his mother .

" Look at this ",said the Fisherman unwrapping her. Fisherman was himself shocked to see that she was no longer an unique girl but a normal one. Son was disappointed with his dad and said ," Dad, what is this? Who is she ? You shouldn't make such a fun. Please send her back to her home ."

" Water, water ...." , she said repeatedly with low voice .Fisherman rushed soon and brought a glass of water for her but she said ," More water ,I want more ." Now fisherman could make sense and he put her into small pond which he made for rearing fish. As soon as he did that she turned into mermaid again.

"What an amazing creature is she?" said the son with wonderful and shocked expression. He was unable to believe in his eyes.

Soon she got healed and she asked to them ,"who are you?" She looked around and became shocked to see such a strange place and people.

"We are humans and we have been staying here for long time and who are you lady?" said the Fisherman. As soon as she heard that they were human she became afraid as she had heard that humans are very bad and they could end mermaid's existence.

"Please ! forgive me gentleman and I promise that I won't harm you and I am here not for any thing but it was just an accident I came here ," she explained innocently. She was afraid and was weeping .

"Don't cry lady and don't you worry .We will not harm you and even I have saved you so how could I harm you .You must be of my son's age and like my daughter .Trust me I won't harm you but you need to tell me about yourself so that I could help you go to your parents ." His words were so gentle that she was compelled to trust him as she had no option else.

She explained him everything about her that she was a mermaid and she had a family,friends and relatives whom she loved very much and they must be worried for her. She told that she couldn't survive on land but she had feature of turning to human on land and could hardly survive for certain time but not for longer time .She told him about her friend who loved her very much and must be worried for her .

After knowing this much about that strange creature ,he assured her that he would help her return to her belonging where her family and friend must be waiting for her .

"No I want to make her my friend .I have no friend to play so please stay here and be my friend . I promise I will share everything with you," Fisherman's son said . He was so sad to hear that his dad would take her back.

"I am so sorry to disappoint you but I can't survive here .I am adapted to survive into the marine water and its the reality which can't be changed," she said .

"She is right son. Just imagine that if same thing happen to you and she force you to stay at sea .You can't survive there because god have made some limitation and we must respect the rule of nature.," fisherman said to his son .So he agreed and apologized her for asking that.

Now he served her with some food which she could prefer to eat and then he finished all his work faster and took her towards the sea.

"Good bye little mermaid and take care ," said Fisherman's son with an innocent smile on his face .

"Same to you gentleman ," she appreciated his nice words and pure wish for her. Now the Fisherman managed her to go towards the sea and during the way towards the sea they had a nice conversation .

"I heard humans are bad and they could harm us but I don't think so after meeting you ," she said with a big smile on her face .

"No little mermaid its not true at all .Every humans are not good and even more like demon who can use other for their benefit ," he replied .
