"Reflection"

I woke up, All dark, In such an enclosed space, It's cold dead and silent, I could literally hear myself breathing I did not like that, but I was going to be ok... I walked into my parent's room, Before I stepped inside, right outside the door I could hear sounds, like someone, was eating, I asked myself what could someone be eating by this time, by the way, I'm phoenix, and right now it is about 2:45 am.

Anyway I walked back to my room slowly, making sure not to make a sound, and went back to bed but I COULD NOT SLEEP, that sound was so loud and annoying, now it's 3:00 am, I got back up from my bed I went to stand in front of my mirror just to wash my face, and well I bent over and washed my face as I was slowly raising my head, I could hear the chewing sound outside my bathroom door, my heart kept beating very fast, I was scared and so confused, then when I raised my head to look at my mirror, what I saw was not normal, not in any way possible, the chewing sounds was not my parents, it was not coming from my parents room, in fact, it was me who was making the sound, but it was the other side(the mirror), then my reflection looked at me in the eye and stopped chewing, then it just stared and me and smiled like crazy, the widest smile I have ever seen...

"Hello?"

"reflection" said, "Hi, do you know who I am?"

I said, " am I meant to know who you are?"

It got angry and screamed but I could only hear it scream. It said, "I am you, but you know the better version!!"

"what?!!"

It started talking, "I'm you, the you that everyone is going to love and you just wait I will make sure everyone can see and hear ME, the better YOU.

I turned around and my dad was right there, "AHHHHH!!!" I was shaking.

My dad said, "what are you doing talking to yourself in the mirror, have you gone mad?!"

"No dad I'm sorry I just couldn't sleep, I will go to bed now"

he said while robing his temples "You better, I don't need to be hearing your voice early in the morning"

The next day …

I just went and took a shower brushed my teeth and did not bother looking in the mirror because I couldn't risk taking to this so-called "Better me." I went down had breakfast, and went out with my best friend Diana and her Boyfriend Dan, I always felt like a third wheel but they couldn't have cared less.

We went for ice cream, while we were talking some ice cream spilled on the t-shirt I had. I went to the bathroom to clean it off, I made a huge mistake... I accidentally looked at the mirror and "it" caught me by surprise with that ice cold stare, and before I knew it I was not in the bathroom anymore, I mean I was, I think everything around me looked a little different. I had passed out from the shock, I later woke up in an empty white room, cold, scared and confused …
