The High Elf Tribe. I Really Need to Know More!

Me, Chloe, Delva, and Elda finally arrive near the entrance barrier to the High Elf Tribe. Evelyn also tagged along because I recommended it since it might be too dangerous for her to return to the Dark Elf Tribe alone. We don't know where the enemy's lair's at, surely they can't be near the surroundings due to the Elves' sensibility; not to mention their strong affinity with Nature, but we can't say there aren't any scouting squads right?... After all that's what I learned from my experience as a former Spec-Ops and Civil Defense Brigade Commander in my past life.

You believed all that? Jokes on you! Hahahaha!

I, as a smart man and Prince, actually used my Skill [Human Area] to check out the entire forest and search for any supernatural creatures other than the Elves; thanksfully there weren't any Demonic Beasts like the ones I killed earlier, or similar to their energy. Evelyn insisted on tagging along with us though, she said: "I want to stay with Wad-sama!" which made my heart melt as it was so adorable.

Even though, I felt like she got attached to me too fast which I almost came to a conclusion that it was unnatural, but she answered all my doubts by saying I saved her twice >from the attempted rape and murder I believe she meant< so this is nothing compared to what I did... And I, thinking she meant she's indebted to me, tried to wave her off only to be surprised by her still insisting on serving me with a blush and teary-eyes.

...I deduce she fell in love with me, as there's no other explication for why she's acting like that —not like I mind it ahem.

By the way, the skill I used can scan hidden as well as invisible areas like the two tribes via bypassing the barriers, and also count numbers of living beings. But when I tried to check the total population of both High and Dark Elves here it only stated over the 200; which wasn't too specific, but, understandable as the skill relies heavily on my Magic Power: both Magic Quality and Quantity. However, when I used it again only on the Dark Elf tribe it actually counted them thoroughly, it stated there is 146 dark elf in the tribe. So I used it on the High Elf tribe as well, and there is 121. I also realised it consumed a large portion of my 5000 Mana capacity, and right now I only have 1402 left, but of course it is regenerating— still, I should start training not just physically, but also spiritually, mentally and magically too; that is if I want to get stronger. Plus a 100 pushups, sit ups, etc are nothing! I should raise them to 1,000 then 10,000 each!

The skill also counted the number of animals; since this is a forest, so definitely there will be animals.

As we came closer to the barrier —I, through my strong if not powerful senses, feel two Mana fluctuations similar to the dark elf knights coming from the top of the trees behind us.

Suddenly, *SWOOSH* two silhouettes emerge from the trees.

"State your purpose!" Two feminine voices demand in the same time, and what appeared to us are two female Elves.

The first one is a beautiful woman looking like she's in her 20's, with a height of 155-160cm, large buxom, and sexy curves. She has long blonde hair that flows down to her back; with long strands that cover her forehead; two braids that reach down to her upper chest, she has greenish-blue eyes >Cyan I guess<, and long-pointed ears.< p>

She is wearing green and white meager armor with golden details, the armor consists of a bluish-green sling bikini, sleeveless minidress with white parts, green gauntlets with golden details, as well as faulds >hips armor<. She's also wearing a white hood with long cape that covers her shoulders and butts, thigh-high stockings, pinkish-red high-heeled shoes.< p>

The second one is also another beauty; a girl with a slender >petite I want to add< and tall body; she lengths about 160-165cm, she has sexy curves, and plump buttocks. She possesses light green hair that reaches down to her neck with two braids at the side of her face, light green eyes that perfectly match her hair, and long-pointed ears that confirm her race. She appears to be wearing a green sleeveless corset, brown sling bikini, a pair of uneven black gloves, green knee-high boots, and a brown hood.

Judging from their appearance and magical energy...they definitely are High Elves. But the one with green hair...ugh, how can I describe this...it kind of feels a bit weird for me to see a natural green hair... Like I could tell if someone has his hair dyed or not, and I can tell this elf's hair is not fake... Still, it feels a bit weird to see this, whatever I will get used to it I believe... Ugh.

They are pointing their bows at us; ready to shoot any time.

Chloe quickly takes a step forward for the two elves to see her. "Lady Chloe!?" The two elves exclaim, surprised. "We have come with a message for Her Majesty; it's urgent and must be delivered as fast as possible!" Chloe firmly announced as she slightly turns her head and cues to me, to which I understood and take out the scroll then show it to them.

The two elves widen their eyes for a few seconds before they look down at me in disdain and avert their attention back to Chloe; What is a filthy human doing here, and a man at that? Why is he beside Lady Chloe and Lady Delva? I can tell they are thinking like that. For them to hold such hatred toward Humans... I wonder what actually happened between them and the humans of this country...

"Of course Lady Chloe." The blonde elf answers, she and the girl beside her move aside to make a way for us.

"Is the Human with you?" The green-haired girl asks Chloe, whilst she and the blonde look disdainfully at me.

—It's alright; I got used to all kind of faces in my previous life, after all, I was a man of high status even before I regained my imperial rank as a prince. So, I won't be intimidated nor bothered easily just because people are looking at me with expressions I don't like.

Chloe stares surprised at the petite-looking girl before turning to look back to me, concerned; "Yes... He'll come with us."

I glanced behind me and to my astonishment Elda, and the Celebrian sisters Delva and Evelyn give hateful and angry gazes to the two high elves, and the two instantly became silent as they sweat in fear.

Delva and Evelyn I understand, but why's Elda doing this? Anyway, the two quickly nod and enter the barrier and we follow behind.

Few seconds passed since we all entered the barrier and to my surprise, just like the passage to the dark elven tribe, this place has the same soothing yet different a bit atmosphere; when I first entered the barrier of the dark elves I felt a faint dark magic element along the way and in the air too —for some reason it felt convenient to me, perhaps it has something to do with my affinity to dark magic which is much likely.

However, this route doesn't exude with dark magic nor the Nature element...

I take a deep breath to learn of what this air holds, and for some reason the two high elves look oddly at me, while the four girls I got acquainted with faster than usual are looking worriedly at me...it's just breathing like duh; Well yes and no, because I breathed this air full of magic— but it's not any normal magic...a high type of magic? Something like that? I can't tell.

I will know later on I believe, for now I need to focus on meeting with the High Elf Queen and show a good impression of myself in front of this elven race.

By the way this passage does not just have this magical atmosphere as the only similarity to the dark elven route; there's many different kinds of trees that vary in size with colorful and glowing flowers on them, a small steamy waterfall and a pond. Not to mention the clear blue sky with big clouds here, yes the dark elf place had its own sky which is a beautiful night sky.

It is really a place that you might only find in fantasy novels.

Oh, by the way, not sure if I had mentioned it before —but they don't speak the language of this human nation.

When we were in the dark elf tribe Chloe told me they speak the language of the "Elven Kingdom" which is Elvish, and I definitely wanted to know more but I did not ask her as of I don't know anything about my own town or the nation I live in or even this world; so she might think odd of me if I ask her about the Elven Kingdom. Therefore I decided once I return to the town I will search for and read the records Rei and Saya told me about to learn everything or at least basic knowledge of this world; I hate being ignorant after all.

I really need to know more!
