I threw a cursory glance at the first three categories of the Exchange System, and as Chris had said, the third one, which the lamest name of Support, was the most interesting.

It was also the one with the most expensive items.

Magneto Mutation: Grants you the ability to control magnetism. Costs a Rank S Reward and 20000 points.

Legendary Super Saiyan Bloodline: Grants you all the abilities of a Saiyan, as well as the ability to reach the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, drastically increasing all your Stats. Costs Rank S Reward and 40 000 Points.

Kryptonian Bloodline: Grants you the power to absorb solar energy and strengthen yourself with it. Costs a Rank S Reward and 50 000 Points.

Of course, not every one of them was this expensive.

Super Soldier Physique: Transforms the user into a perfect human being. Rank C Rewards and 2500 Points

Spider Man: Unlocks the Spider Sense ability to the user, and greatly increases the user's stats. Rank B Reward and 6000 Points

Funnily enough, had I completed the mission, not killed any Protection Target, and still killed the American Mysterious Stone, I would have had enough to exchange for Spider-Man's mutation.

This was quite crazy to think about, as Spider-Man was much stronger than people thought. Not that I would have necessarily bought it, as I'm not sure it would suit me, but it was interesting nonetheless.

The descriptions were a little misleading, but as long as I knew who they referred to, I should be fine.

Anyway, I ended up looking at the fourth category, and just as Chris had said, there were a lot of interesting things in there. For once, the one at the very top, Return to Origin.

For 50 000 Points, we could return to Earth, with everything we had bought in the game. Or we could also return to the world of In the Tall Grass for 10 Points a day.

Why the fuck didn't Chris tell me about this?!

It did make me question some things however. If I somehow ended up getting a Rank S Reward, and 50 000 Points… would I choose to go back to Earth, or pick the Kryptonian Bloodline, or something of similar power?

I mean, yes I had lived through terrible things, but if I somehow got the Kryptonian Bloodline, along with other items and mutations… What could stop me? What could ever make me feel the fear I had felt in this mission? Force me to act the way I did?

However, it wouldn't be a problem for now. I remember Hunter saying he had completed 11 missions, and while he was very strong, he also had no Points left. And I knew of many worlds where I wouldn't stand a chance at survival if I didn't improve myself, so stocking up points wasn't an option.

I was going to stay in this game for a while… well, unless I die, that is.

As for returning to the world of In the Tall Grass… I'm not really sure about that one. Why would I want to return there? Even with the rock dead, and that's a fucking weird thing to say, that place did not really hold any appeal to me.

Deciding to ignore it for now, I headed to the only free item in the Exchange System.

Actually, now that I had it before me, I learned that only the first human creation was free, and the following ones would be 500 Points. This was interesting, as it meant we could create more than one.

I did not immediately go for the creation, and instead asked, "God, or whoever you are, can I create anything I want with the Human Creation?"

Unfortunately, God did not answer me, meaning I had to test things by myself.

Although it was called Human Creation, I tried to make something else first. A Xenomorph from Alien. Those things were deadly.

However, nothing happened.

So I turned to making a human, one that would be as strong as possible. I tried to make… John Wick.

And nothing happened. Fuck.

I spent a good ten minutes experimenting with the Human Creation, and the results were… disappointing.

I tried to make the strongest human I could, and the upper limit I reached was a 2.5 meters tall man. He wasn't the Mountain in Game of Thrones however, he was more like Ernest in John Wick 3, the one John kills with a book at the beginning of the movie while injured…

Moreover, my creation was no real fighter. I tried to give him the skills of a member of a top notch assassin, a member of the special forces or simply a military man, but none of these worked. In the end, the best I could come up with was a half-decent boxer, because I didn't know anything about fighting.

This made me a little frustrated, as I felt like Chris had completely wasted his Human Creation. He could have created a machine of death, as I'm sure he at least knows what skills a member of the special forces had.

But that wasn't true. The man had resurrected his lover, I couldn't really blame him for that.

In any case, I decided to hold off creating myself a bodyguard, because it simply wasn't worth it. If I didn't have any Points, then I would have, as even a boxer was better than I was, even if only stat-wise.

But with the Points I had, any Human Creation I made would be useless.

Moreover, I had been theorizing that I could bring my Human Creation into the missions with us because of how big the circles were and it was technically an item we bought from God, but I wasn't even sure about that.

For a moment, the Human Creation morphed into a beautiful woman, but I shook my head and left the purchase.

Like any other man, I had needs, both physical and sentimental. However, even though I had thought of making a woman, I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I found no appeal to shaping my ideal woman, because that wasn't what love was about. I didn't want a perfect woman because I made her to be so.

Were I a few years younger, maybe I would have made one, but now…

Moreover, I would be meeting my fair share of women, whether they be other players or characters within the worlds.

So I moved away from the category altogether, and moved to the third category instead, Support.

For now, the most important thing was to find myself a good enhancement, that would help me survive the next world, and the ones following that.

"God, can I buy as many enhancements as I want?"

Surprisingly, God answered this time.

[Yes. However, some are incompatible, and may result in you losing your humanity, or exploding.]

Well, that was ominous…

But it also meant I needed to choose my enhancements well, because they would stick, and set my future path.

The list was long, very much so, and even after five minutes of skimming through it, I did not come even close to finishing it.

However, I stopped, because I believed I had found exactly what I wanted.

The transformation that had turned Steve Rogers into Captain America, this would directly push me into superhuman territory. Moreover, this would bring me an all around improvement, and most importantly, it was the most compatible enhancement I found.

Many of the enhancements brought different kinds of energies to the user, which would probably block off many other options. For example, Chakra and Nen. I'm pretty sure the two could not exist together, because in-universe they were basically the same, an aspect of life force.

But the Super Soldier Physique did not bring in any foreign energy, nor did it change the human body drastically. Instead, all it did was bring every parameter to the peak of human potential, making for a perfect human.

But it wasn't the only one I had found.
