77 Ch.77 Setting things straight*
After Kris's transformation, Zheng called for a meeting where everyone was surprised about the changed that occured.
Zheng talked about what happened in the previous movie, and the benefits of the Leader position. Then gave a brief explanation about the 3rd stage of the genetic constraint.
Honglu, and now with the active participation of Kris suggest a couple of things about the next movie. What type of weapons to use, what tactics best suited for fighting aliens or Xenomorphs in this movie.
They also provided some input on how, gaining a Leader, created the condition that the human creations must follow them into the movie.
Which gave a breath of relief to Zheng, and Honglu. After they were so troubled about it before.
Now they have to be mindful of creating humans, 'cause GOD just prevented them from exploiting its uses. Zheng, and Honglu used their D rank rewards to buy off the freedom of their human creations.
They even hounded Kris for not using his on Felicity. But, Kris didn't even give them the time of day, and just grunted. This reaction caught them off guard, being not the usual response they get from Kris.
Later did they know, from Felicity that Kris still hasn't fully acclimated with his new upgrades. Which is just the excuse they came up with to cover up the changes that the regressive atavism brought.
Kris became a bit animalistic in showing his discontent, and constantly releases an aura of dominance.
Though from time to time his old quirks would pop up. But, this just cause them to relax, as this just means, he is still the Kris they know.
Zheng confronted Kris about his assimilation into the team now that he became the official leader, like Yinkong Kris asked for a duel against Zheng.
If Zheng beats him, he will obey Zheng's commands and follow the rules set by him. As long as it does not in danger his life or Felicity's.
Kris was barely beaten by Zheng's utilization of his higher genetic unlocked stage. They were all bloody, and needed several minutes under the beam of light for healing.
This was mostly Zheng, 'cause Kris's healing factor was already kicking in as they fought.
But due to this confrontation Kris was able to glimps the 2nd stage of the unlocked mode when, his body briefly bulked up in their fight.
Kris only needed to be healed due to his failed attempt at unlocking the 2nd stage.
He wasn't able to go any further due to Zheng pinning him down, He was about to enter a frenzy. So before it could get out of hand, he decided to surrender and submit to Zheng.
The few days became a series of training exercises. Kris took this time to give ZhuWen some advice, and told her to get the ability Mind's Eye which would cause her 2000 Points and a D rank reward.
Added by telling her that if she wants to survive the next movie she should get the Burst Linker Enhancement which only cost 1000 Points.
But he told her, "If your lucky this will work for you, But I suggest you upgrade your Reaction Speed as well. Don't worry about weapons. In this movie there are a lot of weapons provided."
He didn't find the time to talk to her after that but, he did gave her 5000 Points before he left her with that advice.
He also told Tengyi about the skill called Over Soul.
After that Kris busied himself in training and recalibrating the Shearpike for Felicity.
He was able to get her the Level 0 Power Development that costed 1000 Points, and a D rank reward. This would open her to psyche force, and give her a random esper ability. She was able to get the Technomancy esper ability.
This was perfect for her since she already develop a Technopathy ability. Now this would make her more attuned into the mechanic route.
To help her perfect the Interceptor, He exchange a D rank materials bundle that costed him his last D rank reward and 2000 Points.
They were able to recreate the full Interceptor Javelin, with the exception of the elemental attacks since the runes they need could only be found in another world.
But, as a bonus they were able to make 3 more GGO version lightsabers. 1 for Kris in toxic green and 2 for Felicity in a more neon green hue.
The Shearpike, under went a transformation. It now looked like the very image of elegance, and deadliness.
Kris still wasn't convinced this was enough, and gave Felicity's stats an upgrade. Spending enough to give her 100 additional stat points for every parameter.
After all the changes, Felicity wore the Exo-suit and asked, "So how do I look?"
Kris almost drooling said, "Like Samus, But much-much hotter."
That earn him a slap in the shoulder. Even with the exo-suit on, the slap didn't damage Kris. It just caught him off guard and made him stumble a bit.
Which made Fecility laugh at his still goofy antics.
After a bout of some much need Snu*Snu*.
Went to his basement to practise his newly exchanged psionic ability.
Psionic Infusion, allows him to infuse his attacks with psionic energy. He could apply it to his weapons, his clothes and, his body to improve their specific triats.
When applies on a knife it becomes sharper, on clothes it becomes tougher, and increases his bodies endurance further than its usual durability.
He spent his last upgrade certificate on this ability.
Through practice he was now able to infuse the bullets of a gun to improve its penetration.
He also continued practicing the fighting style he came up with. Which was now a more structured form of combat due to his recent upgrades.
