When morning came, Team China watched as Carina Smyth opened the way to Poseidon's lair. The sea split open, and they walked to the seafloor. There they found troves of gold, jewels, weapons, armor, and scrolls. In the middle of the lair was a golden trident.

Team China fanned out and stored all the riches and left the trident untouched. Tie Ta stood next to Zhuiyu and nudged her along. She cautiously walked to the trident, gripped it, the ripped it from its mound.

In an instant, she was clad in blue and green armors that left none of her body to the imagination. It was full-bodied, looked skin tight, and sexy. Most of all, it was real practical armor.

Zhuiyu's eyes shined deep and blue like the sea. She could feel every sea creature and supernatural life in the water. She connected with the earth, sky, and sea. Tie Ta called for the shinigami, and they all sailed home. Carina had no place to go, so she opted to return to New Providence Island with the Shinigami, but she was finished with Pirates and wanted a more civilized town to settle in.

"Hey! Come on, mate!" Jack shouted as he and his men were still bound to the island in iron. "You can't leave us here!"

Tie Ta heard Jack's voice and reappeared above the uncharted island once. "My bad, I almost forgot."

Sixty Jackal warriors then appeared. "Sail the Empress and Black Pearl back to Nassau. They will make wonderful additions to my fleet."

"What?!" Jack exclaimed, but Tie Ta ignored him and flew away as the jackals manned the ships and sailed off.

"They took all the treasure, our ships, and the treasure on our ships." said one of Jack's crewmen in disbelief.

"You see that, gents? That Captain Tie Ta is one hell of a pirate." Jack sighed and pulled against his restraints to no avail.

Tie Ta landed on the Shinigami, and the first order he gave was to Zhuiyu.

"Break the Cortez curse. I want Jack and his crew to die on that island," he said.

Meanwhile on Nassau...

Ouyang Di, Zhu Wen, and Audrey sat at a table with Eleanor Guthrie, Captain Flint, Captain Vane, and three other lesser-known pirates. Flint had just returned to Nassau with a Spanish warship but no gold. It turned out that the Spanish warship that Flint captured got separated from the Urca during the storm.

"Let me get this straight. You want to know where my captain went because you didn't find the Urca after Eleanor Guthrie stole Captain Vane's ship to give to you. Then you got it blown out of the water along with yours. And even after you survived, you got your hands on your first warship. I think you are all sore winners." said Di.

"Sore winners? Your whore conspired to sell the schedule of the Urca and not long before your captain and three others left Nassau," said Captain Vane.

"And you're pussy whipped. She punks you out of a ship, and you come back to defend her. You blew up one of her trading ships, big deal. She disrespected you in front of your crew and stole half of your men. " Di retorted, and the room exchanged awkward glances.

"Let me give it to you all straight. Captain Flint has a warship. Captain Vane controls the Fort that overlooks the bay. Shinigami Fleet has more than three warships, and all we need is one to sink you and blow that fort to shit. My Captain is more feared than Blackbeard and his voodoo. Ms. Guthrie, you're drinking our wine, and Vane is smoking our tobacco. Our wood is expanding this town, and our hardware is reinforcing every ship that comes through here...

The only reason your family stayed in business is that we allowed it. Fuck Nassau, we own the whole fucking island and the waters around it. Urca gold? We can go take a fucking colony and claim a silver mine. You insult me with this bullshit and disrespect my family's employee, now you have three days to hand over the warship, or we'll blow it out of the water. Vane, you have two days to leave the fort, or we'll turn it to rubble."

Ouyang Di stood up and walked out of the room, leaving everyone speechless.

On their way out of the Guthrie Tavern, Di handed Zhu Wen a letter. He then said, "Captain Zhu Wen, you take a ship and sail to Japan. I want to establish a trade route and commerce in the country, laying a way to step into future events."

He then waved to Max, and she rushed over. He handed her a letter and said, "Captain Max, you and your girls take a ship and head to India. And find me another Captain."

"I have one, Anne Bonny," said Max.

"Bring her to the plantation in less than an hour. If she signs a contract, she can have a ship and a crew," said Di.

Within the hour, Anne Bonny was a newly made Half-Succubus Servant of the Shinigami Company. Anne then set sail to the Americas, Max to India, and Zhu Wen to Japan. He then sent a magic message to the Shinigami Fleet Captains and told them to return, specifically to Nassau, at top speed.

Due to the Shinigami Fleet being in one central communication Array, Tie Ta also received Di's message. He contacted Di and was filled in on everything. Tie Ta also felt insulted. Ouyang Di stealing the gold was beside the point. The not-so-subtle threat he received from Vane and Flint is what pissed him off.

"Zhuiyu, come with me. Everyone else full speed to Nassau." Tie Ta ordered then vanished.

Minutes later, Zhuiyu and Tie Ta arrived at Nassau.

"Zhuiyu removed that fort from the mountain."

"With pleasure," she replied. The island rumbled, and the land that the fort sat on broke off and fell into the ocean.

"Send the warship to the seafloor," he added.

A great wave then swallowed the warship and dragged it to the depths. Nassau was now in chaos as Zhuiyu and Tie Ta walked into the Guthrie Tavern. The place went quiet, and Tie Ta could smell the fear.

"Charles Vane! James Flint!" Tie Ta shouted.

The two men and Eleanor stepped out of her office.

"My brother gave you two and three days. I over-ruled him! The warship is gone, and so is the fort. Leave Nassau in the hour, or I'll take your life next. Guthrie Bitch, your family is on the down and out here. It's time for you to follow them. I'll pay for the house and the tavern, take the money and leave within the hour."

Tie Ta left no room for debate as he turned away.

"Wait!" a feminine voice rang out.

Ten demonic auras then appeared out of thin air.

Tie Ta turned around and saw a gorgeous woman with voluptuous curves. But she also had an extra allure about her.

"Your charms won't work. I assume you're with Captain Flint. " said Tie Ta, and the woman nodded, "Unphased. You still have an hour to leave. If you stay longer, I'll assume it's an act of war."

He then left the tavern. The woman he had spoken to was now angry and felt disrespected as Tie Ta paid her no mind. To be disregarded by a human was pureblooded devil's biggest pet peeve.

"Tie? Will we really fight the devils?" Zhuiyu asked.

"Yes. Their civil war happened about two centuries ago. When the canon of DXD started, the war wounds were still healing. This close to the civil war, they must be in disarray."

"How do you know the civil war is over?" Zhuiyu asked.

"Treasure." Tie Ta replied, " The greatest treasure of the devils caused the civil war, and if they're out showing it off, it means that no one back home is opposing them. The Evil Pieces are their greatest treasure. It's their means of survival. They're rich, and they want the supernatural world to know."

"Then why aren't they..." Zhuiyu paused, "Oh! Reincarnate pirates. They bolster their numbers after the civil war, show off the evil pieces, and get territory. "

"Exactly, and I think Flint and Vane are their top picks. I wouldn't be surprised if they already snagged Blackbeard," said Tie Ta, "But this Barlow woman next to the pureblood devil is definitely a reincarnated pawn. I can see it."

"Why not pick us?" she asked.

"Maybe we're too strong and require too many pieces. I don't know and don't care. I just want them off of my island. Go to the manor and tell Di to start the one-piece protocol."

"I thought you wanted to wait until Xiao Heng is older," said Zhuiyu.

"I can't wait. He needs reign in the sea and show everyone that it belongs to me," said Tie Ta.
