1 The Beginning

[In the beginning, The Planet Terra was like any other plane of existence. There were laws that hold reality in place, Gods exist to establish a balance, and guarantee fairness for all living creatures. This balance was to be of paramount importance, with no cost too great in seeking its fulfillment... but everything changes when... - Terraria historical text]

it was a quiet peaceful morning when the sun hasn't rise beyond the horizon on the east. I just came back from jogging on the beach near my house...

"good morning Mr. Tom" I greet the street vendor owner near my apartment complex.

"good morning Henry, how's my favorite champ doin? I guess you still aiming to be a pioneer after graduate from Terra university eh?" he asked me while wiggling his eyebrow...

"yeah ~ better than stuck working as crafter or builder..." sighing a little and shaking my head "beside it'll make me busier than usual, while I prefer to make my own stuff too. So i can have time learn other skill, like an advance magic or something." working as crafter aren't that bad... But it isn't really on my list of possible career, "and, I'll take the usual."

"well, you could have an easier way to get starting with a guild or a clan..." reply him while getting my order ready. "But, i only could say that i was amazed by the dedication that you put for going solo." he said.

"it's not like I would lose any chance of getting partnership with those clans and guilds" i said while shrugging a little "I don't really want to go for 2 to 3 years working in their place" cuz that is what they list on their contract, when i became one of the best graduate.

"well, it's up to you. Any other things are to try champ."

"sure, I'll take one of those sweets and a milk Mr." yep, sweets always had a space in my stomach.

After buying some breakfast, i came to my apartment and prepare for my expenses to buy a {pylon} material... And craft it myself ...

And you guys maybe wondering when the story gonna get interesting? Well, this story of mine didn't take place in your usual world.

This, is the world of Terraria...

Where the land is seemingly endless, yet limited to the size of world itself...

Confused? This is the result of destruction brought to the Terra by the famed Cthulhu

Yes, the outer being Cthulhu.

... By an extent some internal conflict between the gods, the ancient, and the big shots. And the cause of it make the Mother Terra split the reality into multiple textures to bring a balance. Some experts say that this wasn't a bad thing, cuz it's provide space for people and other living creature a safe space... And didn't get a deep end from the conflict between the gods and divines. An thus life thrive more than ever, more bountiful, more varied, and untill we need to expand beyond the limits of the sub texture itself. Where the unconcerned lands, textures, and realities invite doom and thread while promising a fertile land and virgin resources.

But, we still have a good life even under a looming thread here and there. with cultists trying to revive the sealed moonlord at some unexplored reality and textures. The everlasting spawn of monster and horde of undead from wilderness is a normal thing. Why? Because the current way of living in Terraria view this problem as resources and everything is always bound with balance in the unconcerned land...

Anything that way out of proportion will brought something to balancing it... One way or another. The famed outcome of this balancing... Is a forced balance, which always invites the corruption, crimson or hollow. Which was one The oldest defense mechanisms of Terra to ensure the balance. Where balance is upheld at all costs, and at its peak is to destroy and rebuild it based on the the theme of this defense mechanism. While the Dryads and the order of guides are opposing this problematic defense mechanism, where they brought destruction and ruins rather than the purposes of it. Some says that they came from the outer gods, some says they nothing more than a tumor, and others says that they are the deity. Often which end up spawning more cultists problems

So, rather than jam-packed anything in particular spot. People more often chose to spread more rather than stacking percent of the population in one area. So the potential of attraction of monsters from wilderness (either chaos, crimson or hollow) could be contain more easily.

To stabilize the lawless land we had a verity of choice. Starting from the hardest where you need to rule the land by defeating the moonlord of that realm, setting up a camp or base that could hold a safe living space, or a simple pylon that could provide an instant safe space. Most of pylon had different effect depends on the use of it, where the cheapest of it to be a teleportation point... To a city core that provides shield, buff, and other defense mechanism.

After i close my front door, im taking a bath to get ready for the next thing on my to do list for the day. Besides crafting a self modified {pylons} i still needs to do preparation for the crafting itself, and half of the progress it preparing the material and setting up the tools to craft it. Self modified pylons weren't exactly a rare thing, most of big group had their own custom pylon for their own personal business. Like a crafting pylon that had effect on keeping their work place hygiene, medical pylons for giving buff and health boost to critical patients and the doctors, and a storage pylons that keeping bacteria and keeping the room temperature in favorable conditions. And like any other pylon, they could be connected to the pylon network. With some authentication needed for the owners to teleport to their own pylon from public pylons.

I never really thought about how much this would take time, so i decided to craft this on weekends. Where usually most of my times are drain on crafting and working out, so it won't be a problem if i get too busy on adding extra stuff to it... Yup, it'll be a good starting point for my pioneering career. And with my unique blessings... I'll be sure to exploit the hell out of this... Well, it'll take a while to craft this so let's rewind a little shall we?
