61 Chapter 60 Orario POV

"I do not believe I have seen a more cowardly and bullshit method of winning a Wargame in all my years of being an adventurer," Mia said with a vein on her head being proudly displayed. "Not only does this damned mirage never go away due to the gods not wanting to miss Jake actually do something, but all he is fucking doing is crafting weird shit which is making all these damned mages and smiths take up my whole damned restaurant!" Mia yelled out but the smiths and mages just ignored her after the last two and a half days listening to the owner of the Hostess of Fertility complaining.

Because they knew she just wanted actual entertainment and it wasn't like they were just loitering around. They were constantly buying food and drinks as they watched Jake combine rain and water-themed clothes, an umbrella, and a floaty of all things into a badge somehow that allowed Jake to summon a thick rain cloud that would repeatedly strike the area with lightning.

"Oh, Mia calm down. Don't you love the business anyway?" A skeevy voice spoke and across the bar was the god Hermes who likewise watched Jake making nonsensical things that only his precious Asfi could slightly match.

Just that weird badge that allowed him to summon lightning was probably worth the same value as Asfi's Hades Cap that would make people invisible, but it was plain that Jake made his with materials that were worth less than a couple thousand Valis whereas Asfi spent literally millions on the materials that came from monsters deep in the dungeon.

"Bah, but there is no singing and merriment, Just a bunch of dumbasses just staring at a magical vision and trying to steal or copy someone's crafting abilities," Mia said bluntly and more than a few people's eyes twitched at the reminder that they had no damned way to copy what Jake was doing.

'Like seriously how does a common floaty and umbrella allow you to make small storms on demand?' More than one person thought despondently as they wanted to throw a fit at how Jake's crafting made absolutely zero sense, especially with how certain weapons of his used mana and others didn't when they both clearly made magical effects happen.

"So Mia, I got some rather interesting news for ya." Hermes started off this time quietly and Mia leaned in a bit as Hermes began to speak. "So apparently with Valletta of the Thantos Familia coming out of the woodwork to bring back Evilus... Apparently the Dis Sisters Vena and Dina," Seeing Mia's look of complete confusion Hermes nodded grimacing. "Yeah, those complete psychopaths are also back as well and somehow they both reached level six and with their prior skills boosting one another?" Hermes left off and Mia brushed her hands over her face.

"But that makes no fucking sense Hermes! I was literally there when those two were fighting Freya's Hedin and Hogni with Dina dying directly in front of me and I thought Vena died later in the dungeon?" Mia hissed heavily discomforted at this damned news.

She had an interest in another Longest Night of Orario or dealing with the masses of thousands of completely mentally broken suicide bombers, who were convinced that if they gave up their lives, they would be sent to the promised land by the evil gods in Tenkai.

Hermes shrugged as he spun his drink around. "Mia, shit is going down and I need you to tell Freya that she needs to get off her high horse and tell her little sycophants to get off their asses and clear the underground and such. Loki cannot deal with Valletta Grede, the Dis Sisters, and Vito has also resurfaced this time working with Valletta, and worse they are all level six." Hermes said hauntedly as he put down his mug.

Before they could react a thunking noise rang out as a wooden plate fell to the floor and as the two looked over, they saw Ryuu woodenly bend over to pick up the plate.

"My mistake Mia... I will be cleaning some dishes before turning in early" She said excusing herself as she kept her head down looking upon her plate so none could see the dull face the elf was making at hearing how Vito was still alive.

But she made the mistake of allowing Syr to see her dull eyes as she carried the dishes into the back kitchen of the Hostess of Fertility.

"Ryuu..." Syr could only mutter as she watched Ryuu silently doing the dishes before Syr's eyes firmed and she went upstairs to put on a cloak and left the Hostess of Fertility on a mission.

Within the tower of Babel, it was still pandemonium two days later after Seshat announced Jake being the new Record Breaker who had since broken Ais's level record over his knee.

"His new name is Cheating Cheat!" One god yelled and then another yelled over him. "No! He slept with Seshat so he needs to be called Furry Lover!" That god yelled but then yelped as Seshat sent him a tired scathing glare.

"This is not the quarterly Denatus, that will be determining our adventurer's titles so save your childish and asinine names for later... So Apollo you ready to accept your loss?" Seshat snarked to Apollo whose face twitched at Seshat's smug face.

Apollo snorted as he glared at Seshat he could only watch as Jake simply slept in his bed comfortably while his own Familia had long given up and gone home.

But the sun god although idiotic wasn't inherently stupid and knew he had no grounds to call Jake's method of winning the games cheating as at its core the Wargames was built around making mortals win the Wargames however, they could. Whether it be by killing all in opposition or just capturing the objective, it didn't matter so long as the inherent rules of the specified game were followed.

"Fine... Seshat you win." Apollo said tiredly as his head thumped against the wooden backrest of his chair. "My adventurer's will clear out the Sunset Manor and you can take-" Before he could continue Seshat raised a hand.

"Ah ah ah!" She said firmly. "I don't give a damn about your property I just want the monetary value of it in my Familia's coffers. As mine already has a far greater property anyway and it is actually defensible and none can harm us within." Seshat said straightforwardly making Apollo's face twist as he closed his eyes and shrugged.

"Very well... I physically cannot sell the mansion at the drop of a hat. Nor do I have the liquid assets to pay for it so I will pay it in some installments over the course of the next five years. Is that amendable, or otherwise As my Familia is being banished from Orario I will simply pay nothing at all as I cannot meet your demands." Apollo said frankly and Seshat tsk'ed at not getting such an easy windfall.

"Fine do whatever you want. Rent out rooms in your mansion or something to actually make money but if you skive on me, I will go with Jake to hunt your ass down and there won't be a guild stopping us from sending your ass to Tenkai." Seshat warned with a grin that had too many teeth to be natural.

And thus, the first Wargame of Seshat's Familia ended. Not with a climatic final battle and the triumphs of mortals. No, it ended with a man sleeping through the night and scratching his ass to the viewer's gaze in the tens of millions across Orario and the major cities scattered across Genkai
