Unknown Evolution

The Day of Reckoning had just reached it conclusion. Less than a hour into the conflict, Tempest had already secured their victory against the nation of Falmuth. All soldiers had been killed, including the main force comprised of slightly over 20,000 foot soldiers and mages. All killed indiscriminately by the Ruler of Monsters, Rimuru Tempest.

They made a foolish mistake in provoking this monster. He may have been fairly weak compared to the rest of the worlds mighty individuals, but he was still a monster as well as a king of his fellow monsters.

Due to their actions of being blinded by Greed and other sins, their actions had now caused the birth of another Demon Lord. And a dangerous one at that.

His Awakening had just concluded. Everyone connected to him had fallen asleep due to the gifting process after his evolution. However, something odd was happening to him.

Though he was still unconscious from the effects of evolution, his magicules kept on leaking and they were growing stronger at a rapid pace. Though, an unknown force was suppressing them.

The ancient demon that Rimuru had summoned earlier to assist him was present during this Phenomena. Looking at the unconscious Rimuru in fascination.

"Fascinating." The demon muttered to himself, looking at Rimuru like he was some sort of god.

Though, their were somethings going on that even the Demon did not know about currently. As for Rimurus current state.

This voice went unheard by anyone nearby, it was something only Rimuru could hear. But even he was unable to answer it due to his current state. This voice had belonged to his newly acquired Ultimate Skill called [Lord of Wisdom Raphael].

Power to protect those who were too weak to protect themselves.

It was due to these sky high emotions and desires to protect his own people that Raphael acted within his best interests.

And so, it began to convert Rimurus existence into something similar of a True Dragon.

The evolution has now finally met its conclusion. The demon has yet to notice an outward change, but the air around this slime has become more... elegant, refined, powerful. It was awe-inspiring. So much growth in such short time was unbelievable and impressive to the demon who has lived for... a very long time.

Yet, the presence inside Rimuru had noticed a change. One of two individuals who have been stored within Rimuru for the past two years now.

Veldora Tempest and the Fire Spirit known as Ifrit. Ifrit has yet to notice anything, Veldora on the other hand, wore a shocked expression.

"What the hell?!?!" Veldora shouted in disbelief, catching Ifrit in surprise during their game of Shogi, making Ifrit lose focus.

"What is it, Veldora?" Ifrit asked. However, Veldora didn't answer. As he just stared off into the endless space of Rimurus Stomach. A smirk visible on his face.

"Heh, I always knew you were an odd one. Even prior, you reeked on similar. But to think you would achieve it in such a short timeframe. It's honestly shocking." Veldora said in amazement.

"What is it?" Ifrit asked once more. Veldora merely shook his head, his smirk still very visible on his face.

"Never mind." Veldora said. "Lets just continue on with our game shall we, Kuhahahahaha!" Veldora gave out a hearty laugh. Excited for how events in this world will progress with his sworn brothers surprising evolution.
