1 Chapter 1: Birth of the next Superpower

'What happened? Wait, where am I? Why do I feel so weird?' thought Gin as he opened his eyes.

It was just an ordinary summer day when everything he thought he knew changed. The last thing that Gin remembered was coming out of a bookstore after buying a reprinted version of his favorite light novel, when out of nowhere a desperate looking guy holding a knife comes running in his general direction. Trying to move out of the way but noticing there is a little girl right behind him, he hesitated for just a moment. But that one moment was enough for a knife to suddenly stab him in the side.

"OWW, IT HURTS!" screamed Gin as he fell to the ground. Lying in his pool of blood, he thought that this situation seemed familiar, but couldn't put his finger on why. Then, he heard a voice in his head.

{Confirmed. [Pain Resistance] successfully acquired.}

'Hmm. Did I hear something?' He thought. Miraculously, the pain went away, but the burning sensation from the sab wound was still there, and he couldn't move his body to remove the knife or roll to a more comfortable position.

{Confirmed. [Heat Resistance] and [Paralysis Resistance] successfully acquired.}

'Is this what I think it is? No, it couldn't be. That only happens in fiction. I must be hallucinating from lack of blood. Well, good thing I can move now and the pain went away, but I feel so empty and cold.'

{Confirmed. [Cold Resistance] successfully acquired. Combining [Heat resistance] and [Cold resistance]. [Temperature Resistance] successfully acquired.}

'No way, this is really happening! Ugh, I'm already getting tired and blacking out and can barely think. If only I had more time.'

'Woah! My head is a little clearer now. But I still only have a few moments left before I pass on. Well, if there is one thing I want before I go to the Tensura world, I would want to be a True Dragon.'

As a huge fan of Velzard and Velgrind, Gin wanted to be able to stand toe to toe with them as equals, so it would be a dream come true to join the strongest species in Tensura.

'Yes, this is super cool! I hope my new life will be entertaining. I hope I will be able to become one of the brightest stars. No even brighter. I will shine like the sun and be the strongest superpower out there. Even stronger than Guy, Milim, and Rimuru.'

Looking down, Gin saw the book that he just bought but was unable to read, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime volume 6 (The one with Milim in the front). 'I don't know if I can control this, but wouldn't it be great if I was able to reincarnate so that I would be around Milim's age. Then I could join the first generation demon lords and compete with the strongest devil, Guy.'

{Confirmed. Reincarnation set to when Milim is conceived, successful.}

'Awesome. Now all I need is [Great Sage] and then I'll be unstoppable.

'Well, [Sage] is still fine since although I'm a virgin, I'm still in high school so it isn't as shameful. Uh oh, I'm blacking out now. I guess the next time I wake up, I'll either know if I was hallucinating the whole time or if the isekai dream was real. Hopefully I'm lucky.'

Right after Gin blacked out, a voice that went unheard said {Confirmed. Unique Skill [Luck] successfully acquired.} Unfortunately, Gin never heard this, and he wouldn't learn of this for a long time.

After waking up, Gin tested out his body to see if he really got reincarnated as a dragon, but as he was doing so, he quickly realized that he was trapped somewhere. Looking around, everything was pitch black and he couldn't see anything. After waiting a minute so that his eyes could adjust, nothing changed so he tried to move somewhere else to where there is light. However, when he tried to move around, the immediately hit a wall.

'Yay, I guess I'm not dead. Did I get transported to Veldora's cave? But why are the walls so narrow, I feel like I'm in a cage. *inhale* I guess I'm just gonna have to break out.'

After testing the walls by lightly slapping and punching them, he did a full power punch.

"OWW, IT HURTS!" he screamed as his punch was rebounded and he fell back, expecting his hand to sting like crazy. But when nothing happened, he remembered about his skills. This didn't get to his confidence, as he get ready for a full powered head bash.

However, this failed, as he once again fell backwards. But with his determination to get out, Gin kept headbutting the walls over and over again for what seemed like a long time until finally, he heard something.

*Crack crack crack* he heard when he realized, "I'm not in a cage or underground cave, but an egg instead!"

Going for a final head bash to free himself, he braced himself to fall back down again, but unexpectedly, he didn't. After trying to free himself for over a day, he finally succeeded, and found himself sitting in a large grassy field with nothing but grass around him. The sun was high in the sky shining down on him, and there was nothing in sight meaning he was fairly isolated right now. But once he got out of his egg to walk around, he started blacking out again, as he was just a baby dragon who over exerted himself.

A little while later, after some loud noises started bothering, Gin started to stir. Waking up for the second time, he realized about a day passed as the sun was rising again. But in the direction of the rising sun, he noticed a large figure, a dragon, rapidly approaching him. A dragon of massive proportions, whose scales reflect the brilliantly shining sunlight.

After observing Gin for a good minute, the large dragon said"You're lucky you were born near my abode, little one. My name is Veldanava."

'No way I'm this lucky to be able to meet the creator dragon on my first, well, I guess its my second day in this word' Though Gin nervously as he says, "H-Hello. I-I'm Gin."

"Hmm, are you a reincarnator by any chance?" Asked Veldanava. "As a monster you're not born with a name, and judging by your magicule count, I would say that you're haven't been named either. In that case little one, in exchange for re-naming you, would you be a friend for my unborn daughter?"

After nodding my head, Veldanava declared, "Then from this day forth, you, little dragonling, shall become the older sister of my daughter. I shall name you GIN." *Thundering sound* "And once you awaken as a true dragon, your new name shall be Velgin."

Once he said this, Gin felt stimulated and his energy levels rapidly rose. Gin's previous non-attributed form started glowing and reforming. A few moments later, when the glowing subsided, a light attributed shining white dragon proudly stood tall. But once the evolution calmed down, Gin noticed something in Veldanava's words and wondered out loud. "What do you mean sister???"

That's right. Because Gin idolized characters like Milim, Velzard and Velgrynd, his form was changed so that when he awakens into a true dragon, he would also be in a similar form, namely a beautiful woman/ feminine dragon.
