He tried to move, only to realize that couldnt properly feel things by touch.
Obviously he had some of his own fantasies of what kind of situation he is currently facing.
When he awoken in this darkness,he couldnt see if this space was small or big, somethings looked like shadows right infront of him that he can reach out and touch but then it looks like it was endless.
He felt like the air had a heavy pressure like it was hard to breathe, even though he pretty sure that he isn't breathing right now as a soul it had the same sensation.
It was like he swimming in water bet the water was more like slime, it was thick but invisible an misty it wasn't physically it was just pressuring him he wondered what it is.
"Ahahahahahahah ahahahahahahaha to go through such a pathetic way of dieing mortal. I imagined many ways of dieing, and seen but yours is the funniest one ahahahahahaha" Laughed the ROB
fully realizing who that the person roaring in laughter is he immediately went on boat licking, dogeza mode "greetings great random omnipotent being"

Since our MC is a pure blooded Otaku he immediately asked in a excited voice "So am going to get reincarnated...like those fan-fics"

(basically what iam trying to say is that manas are the one that have their masters live in the palm of their hands theoretically if they didn't like their masters choices they could manipulate them, rewrite their memories or even kill you if they so wished)
"So whats your second wish" asked ROB
"Can I set what skills I want, I will wish for a skill and tell you the duration I want to receive it."

(Don't worry he won't be affected by the skill that much like, he's not going to have pride on the level of the King of heroes)

(i made the voice of the world not see him as an enemy during his birth till well the cannon starts because iam sure tensura fans are aware that the voice of the world is very strict when it comes to managing the world)
