" Are you sure you can't stay for a while Rimuru chan " Izabela asked Rimuru while tears came down her face.

Seeing her expression Rimuru for a moment reconsidered her decision to leave but ultimately chose to go against it. It's not like she doesn't like this world. In fact she was even intending to stay till Anos regained his throne but the other side needed her more than ever.

So she reluctantly separated herself from Izabela who was hugging her like a koala. She comforted while saying , " I'm sorry aunty but my family needs me to come back home. And you talk like I won't visit you again. Although I may not be able to come back for a few months I definitely will be back so cheer up will ya "

She sniffed and asked " You promise ". It seems like she calmed down hearing those words.

Rimuru smiled and gave a thumbs up and said , " Of course I always keep my promises "

"Yaaay " Izabela cheered happily . " Did you hear that honey Rimuru will come back to us " She said excitedly to her husband Gusta.

Gusta also shared her enthusiasm and danced while saying " I heard it loud and clear honey. We should definitely throw a big party to welcome her "

"Ohh i know we will be Rimuru's favourite with….." Izabela also joined in, making the atmosphere quite cheerful.

Rimuru looking at their behaviour smiled happily. Even though she hasn't left yet they are already planning a party to welcome her when she comes back. ' Truly they are very unique ' she thought.

" Life would be quite boring without you, you know " Anos said after his parentents went a little farther away to discuss their secret party.

Rimuru looked at him with amusement and said, " You know that line should be said to a girl you have a crush on as a last minute effort to make her stay "

" Oh is that so , then I'll make sure to remember that. Who knows maybe it will come in handy someday. " Anos said with a bit of mischief in his voice.

" You brat, " Rimuru said in mock anger as she ruffled his hair. " Try not to chew more than you could digest. Or you might just end up in someone's basement " she laughed at her own joke.

Anos didn't get it. Is there someone who could capture him and keep him under their thumb other than Rimuru. He threw her a questioning look which made her laugh even more. Ultimately he decided to drop the matter since he would be less likely to find an answer to this question.

After her talk with Anos Rimuru's attention turned to the rest of her friends who came to see her off. Even the Anos fanclub girls came. She walked towards Sasha and hugged her without any warning startling the girl.

Even though Sasha reflexively tried to break free from the hug, how can a normal overpower a true dragon in raw strength. Rimuru whispered in her ears " Don't tell Anos I told you this but he was quite captivated by your performance at the tournament. So good luck making him realise your feelings "

Hearing her words Sasha froze. Her mind couldn't register what Rimuru said until she broke the hug. She wanted to ask for more details but didn't dare to. She could feel that her face isn't quite presentable as she could feel the heat rushing to her face. And her mind is still daydreaming about what Rimuru's words imply. So she couldn't guarantee that some of her fantasies might slip out of her mouth.

After Sasha Rimuru gave every girl a hug. Some girls from the fan club cried when they received their hugs. And finally it was Lay's turn.

" Although our time together was short, it was nice knowing you, Lay. It was truly fun. "Rimuru said, giving her hand for a hand shake.

Lay smiled and took her hand and gave it a firm shake. " It was my pleasure knowing you, Miss Rimuru. Thank you everything you did for me "

Rimuru chuckled and said , " Don't worry about the small stuff. I just did something that you earned yourself " Hearing her words Lay looked confused but soon his confusion turned into shock when Rimuru whispered,

" Try not to carry everyone's burden Kannon, you are allowed to live like everyone does so don't take this chance to enjoy your second life "

Saying those words Rimuru turned around and left him. She again walked towards Anos and said, " Anos, although I might not be able to witness your coronation you must remember you always have my support. So whether it is to go to war or kill the gods, don't hesitate to do what you must and call me when you need someone to clean up your mess " She said with a cheeky smile.

Anos smiled at her words. True if Rimuru has his back then everything would be fine. As someone who spent most of his life with her , he knew when Rimuru made a promise that promise would be kept. And he seriously doubted he would need her assistance since he is enough for most situations.

" Well then guys see you all later, " Rimuru said as she spread her wings. With a flap of her wings she took off to the sky.

" Wait, how does Rimuru have wings? Those aren't made from magic right? " Sasha asked in surprise. As far as she knew demons don't have any wings.

Anos looked at her weirdly and then a look of realisation hit her. " Oh right you guys never really noticed it huh. You see Sasha Rimuru was never a demon in the first place "

" Huh but how is that possible? She wore a black uniform. As far as I know you must be a full blooded demon to wear that " It was Misa who asked this question. As the leader of the unitarians she knew about this subject more than others. Even the descendants of major noble houses can't wear the black uniform if they aren't pure blooded even if they were declared heir of the said family.

Anos chuckled and said, "It is fairly simple actually, the demon king's advisor wasn't a pure blooded demon. But even so every demon respects her. And the academy couldn't possibly give someone who was said to be her reincarnation a lower status right ? "

Hearing her words everyone had to nod their heads in agreement. If the academy actually gave Rimuru a white uniform they would be saying that the great advisor is a commoner.

" Rimuru stopped moving " Misha suddenly said, drawing everyone's attention. Looking up they saw that Rimuru was suspended in the air.

Narrowing his eyes Anos used his magic eyes to see what was happening. And the result was quite surprising. " Oh this quite surprising "

Hearing his words Lay asked " what happened Anos. Did someone attack Rimuru when we were not looking "

Hearing his concerns Anos shook his head and said , " Don't worry it's nothing too serious. It's just a group morons thought they could trap Rimuru and finish her off by using their bodies as sacrifices "

" How is that not serious, we gotta help her " shouted Sasha as she readied herself to fly and assist her.

But before she could do anything she was held back by Anos. Anos looked unbothered by everything and said,'' Don't worry about her. She can handle this just fine. And besides you still don't know what her race is do you "

"So what is it? " Sasha asked, annoyed.

Anos smiled and said , " Rimuru is a dragon, a true dragon to be more specific. And her title is Void Empress"

As they heard his words they all looked at Rimuru in unison and they then saw it. Black smoke came out of Rimuru's body and completely covered her body that began to grow in size. And finally Rimuru's dragon form was revealed after the smoke dissipated. With a little breath attack that is fused with turn null energy she made a hole in the dimensional barrier.

And with a flap of her wings she entered the hole and disappeared from this world. Shortly after the god's self detonated and supplied enough energy for the world barrier to regenerate.

" See, I told you she got it under control "Anos said to his shocked friends. But no one answered him as they were too shocked to register what he said.
