'Now then, there is one more thing I have to do.'

"Come out, Tempest Serpent!"

A dark mist appeared before me, which faded to reveal a giant purple serpent. This was the strongest monster in my Legion, and also the first. And for that, he deserved greatness.

"From now on, you shall be called 'Coatl'! Grow stronger with this blessing and show the world the might of my Legion."

The Tempest Serpent was engulfed in bright light. I felt the a large amount of Magicules being spent, far greater than when I named the Goblins. The light soon dissipated to reveal a wha--??

Before me, was a small, around a meter long snake, with dark purple scales.

'Huh? How did that scary Tempest Serpent evolve into this tiny-ass snake?'

<Report. Individual 'Coatl' has evolved into a 'Naga'. It has also gained new skills as a result of the naming. Extra Skill [Celestial Snake Eyes], Extra Skill [Size Manipulation] , Common Skill [Telepathy] and Common Skill [All of Creation]. It's Common Skill [Poisonous Breath] has evolved into Extra Skill [Decaying Mist].>

'𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥. 𝘐 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯.' A hoarse voice resounded in my head.

'𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘵𝘭. 𝘐 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯.' I responded back through Telepathy.

'By the way, how big can you grow, with your [Size Manipulation]?' I asked him.

'𝘔𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 10-15 𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘮𝘺 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥' Coatl answered.

'Damn that's big..... Wait, isn't that other skill the same one Alvis has?'

<Recived. Yes, the Extra Skill [Celestial Snake Eyes] is also possessed by the leader of the Three Beastkeeters, Alvis. This information is obtained through the Unique Skill [Archiver].>

'So what all can it do? Isn't it very powerful?'

<Received. The Skill can bestow various status ailments/effects on tartgets within the line of sight. Some effects are; Petrification, Poison, Paralysis, Corrosion, Blindness and Madness. It also makes the user immune to such effects.

As the Individual 'Coatl' is a part of your Legion, you have also gained all their skills.>

'!!!... I absolutely love you now, Coatl. Thank you for such an amazing skill.' I celebrated.

There's still a problem though, Coatl can't speak or hear me. I can't have that.

"[Great Sage] Give the skills [Magic Sense] and [Ultrasonic Waves] to Coatl through the Soul Circuit."

<Report. Inidividual 'Coatl' is compatible with said skills. Successful.>

'𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳.' Coatl said Telepathically. He was trying to adjust to the new overload of information gained through [Magic Sense]. After that, he slowly finetuned his control over [Ultrasonic Waves] to be able to produce speech-like sounds.

In just a few seconds, he was already done.

"I can speak!! My Lord, I can speak!" He exclaimed with childlike excitement.

'He's very cute, never thought I would find a snake cute. Maybe it's because he's a part of my Legion.' I thought.

'Hold on... How does he know how to speak this language??'

<Report. Similar to you, the individual 'Coatl' has the skill [All of Creation] enabling him to have knowledge of all unconcealed phonomenon in this world.>

'Ohhhh Ok, that makes sense.' I understood.

"My Lord, should I return to the Soul Realm, or should I stay?" He asked.

I don't really want him to return cuz I feel bad....

Ohh!! I could just imitate Lord Shiva from Hindu Mythology and tell him to stay around my neck. That would also make for protection against surprise neck attacks. Additionally, I would also have someone to talk to regularly other than Veldora.

"Oi Coatl, from now on, you stay coiled around my neck, in your smaller form of course."

I don't know how else to describe this, but Coatl started 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, when I said that. He slithered onto my neck at speeds unknown to man and snuggled up comfortably, resting his head on my collarbones.

'This is wholesome.... One wouldn't believe that this cute creature was once a monster-killing giant snake.'

'By the way, how powerful is he now?'

<Received. The Individual 'Coatl' is estimated to be a Special A-rank or a Calamity-Class in accordance to the Free Guild Ranking System.>

In the world of Tensura, most beings could be measured on a ranking scale created by the Chairman of the Free Guild, Yuuki Kagurazaka, also an otherworlder.

It separated beings in alphabetical ranks:

1. F-Rank: Beings with no combat capabilities.

2. E-Rank: Average Human Adult

3. D-Rank: A powerful human soldier, comparable to 3-4 adults.

4. C-Rank: Professionally trained with some extraordinary powers.

5. B-Rank: A being capable of destroying a village single-handedly.

6. A-Rank or Hazard Class: A being capable of destroying a whole city.

7. Special A-Rank or Calamity Class: A being who requires the elite fighters or 'Champions' of a country to be assembled to fight against.

8. S Rank or Disaster Class: Beings like 'Demon Lords' capable of destroying a country.

9. Special S-Rank or Catastrophe Class: Some 'Demon Lords' and all the 'True Dragons', capable of destroying multiple nations, can only be matched by some 'True Heroes'

This ranking system accounts for magicule count, skills, magical abilities and physical capabilities.

Coatl could be classified at the bottom of the Calamity-class while I would be at the top. The reason for why Coatl is so strong even without possessing a Unique skill is because of his wide-range attacks and almost impenetrable scales. However the main reason is the skill [Celestial Snake Eyes]. It was an absolutely broken skill against normal opponents. Normal fighters wouldn't even dent his body.

I was also a special case, because if my Legion were to be counted as my personal strength, I could even be classified as Disaster-Class for the sheer widespread destruction I could cause before being defeated by a Hero or something.

I know my own strength perfectly, which is why I also know that there are terrifying beings in this world, and to them, I'm not even a fly worth looking at right now. So I have to grow stronger, to live my new life fully. I have been given a chance, and I won't waste it!!

There is also another system of classifying strength, which is more accurate due to it's numerical nature. However, I currently do not possess the means to measure and use it accurately. It's called 'Existence Value'. The numerical unit for it is 'EP' or Existence points.

If I had to estimate my own EP value, it would be around 150,000 right now. Coatl's might be approximately 80,000 and all the Dark Ogre's (Former Goblins) could be an average of 40,000 each.

To give a scale of how vast the world is, Veldora's EP is somewhere around 80 Million. Though a higher EP does not necessarily mean automatic victory over an opponent of a lower EP, it just denotes the total magicule and physical capacity of a being, not the combat ability and experience.

In a few minutes, Rigurdo came back into the makeshift house.

"I have gathered everyone as per your orders, my Lord" said Rigurdo, his eyes on Coatl, who was chilling on my neck.

"Good, now let's go outside." With that, Rigurdo followed me outside the house where I could see a crowd of a 100 almost human-looking Ogre's looking extremely pleased and happy.

As I stepped out, all of them turned to look at me--

"Greetings everybody, do not worry, as I am fine even after naming all of you.... Now, to get on to important matters"

"I will be creating an organizational structure and assigning roles to each one of you. There are exactly 101 of you Ogre's. Along with that, I have 53 more monsters in my Legion. One of them is here with us." I announced.

"This here is Coatl, a named monster and the first member of my Legion. He may look small, but he is the most powerful here after me." I continued, introducing Coatl. The Naga looked up at the Ogre's and smugly shook his head when I said that he was the first of my Legion.

"Now, I will be calling the rest of my Legion out here, so don't panic."

"COME OUT! My Legion!"

Darkness covered the area as monsters started appearing one by one. In just the span of a few seconds, the crowd had increased by more than 50. There was a lot of murmuring among the Ogre's as they were scared and awed that the monster who could and would kill them just a few days ago were now their allies.

I then called for one of each of the monster races to come forward. My goal was to create group-leaders, who could manage their race on my orders. For that they needed to be better than the others.

"From now on, you all shall be the leaders of your own divisions in my Legion."

I stepped towards the Evil Centipede, "You shall be known as 'Centi'!!!". I'm sorry, I just couldn't think of anything to name a goddamn centipede.

I then went to the Giant Bat and named him 'Dracula'. I repeated the process with the Black Spider naming it 'Arachne'.

I know, I know..... I have no uniqueness, but don't judge me, these names will make it easier for you readers to remember and identify the characters more easily.

And lastly, I went to the Armoursaurus, there was only one of them, but I still had a job in mind.

"Henceforth, you shall be called 'Ricardo'!! You shall become Rigurdo's personal mount and familiar." We do a little trolling.

<Report. Naming has triggered evolutions in each of the named monsters. The results are:

1. The individual 'Centi' has evolved into a 'Deathworm' and has attained the Extra Skill [Consumption] which allows the user to mimic the physical properties of a consumed inorganic substances.'

2. The individual 'Dracula' has evolved into a 'Vampire Bat' and has attained the skills

[Blood Mist] - Transforms the blood of the user into a highly combustible mist to be used in techniques.

[Shadow Motion] - Allows the user to travel through the Shadow Space to reduce travel distances and emerge from shadows.

3. The individual 'Arachne' has evolved into an 'Acromantula' and has attained the Extra Skill [Organic Web Network] which allows for the creation of a network of Organic threads which can be used to transport materials and information physically.

4. The individual 'Ricardo' has evolved into a 'Scallion' and has attained the Extra Skill [Scale Striker] which allows the user to create and manipulate armour-like scales from their body. These scales are stronger than steel.

This concludes all the evolutions and skill awakenings.>

'WHAT THE HELL!! How am I getting so lucky with all these skills, they're amazing! There are so many applications for each of them.... I'll study them in detail later. First, I have to finish this.' I thought.

"Now that that is over with, I will be assigning roles to each member of my Legion. Firstly, Rigurdo, you shall be the Head of Administration and Leader of the Dark Ogres." I announced.

"I thank you for this honour, my Lord. I shall do my best." Rigurdo swore.

"I'm sure you will. Now, continuing, the Legion will be separated into groups of 3, 2 ogres and one monster. As such, 50 groups will be formed.

The 20 groups with Giant Bats, will be responsible of Patrol, Surveillance and Scouting and capturing.

The 20 groups with Black Spiders will be responsible for various tasks like, trade, gathering, manufacturing items etc.

Finally, the 10 groups with Evil Centipedes will be responsible for mining and transport.

All these are temporary tasks and will be revised later. Are your jobs clear?"

"YES Lord Ashborne!!" a chorus of voices said.

"Good, now I shall assign a few immedi---!!"

*BOOOOOM* *CRASH* *CRASH*

I was suddenly interrupted when I sensed something large and full of magicules approaching my direction at high speeds. I wasn't even able to complete my thoughts before--

"[BODY ARMOUR]" I barely protected myself as a gigantic red flash of light slammed into me.

"ARRRGGHHH!! SHITT!!"

*CRASH * *CRASH* *BOOM*

I was thrown back tens of meters and crashed into a tree with a large explosion.

"Ohhh?? You were fast enough to react to my attack?? Perhaps this won't be so boring after all." An elderly voice said.

The legionaries were laying scattered on the ground, none of them were severely wounded, as I tanked most of the attack, though they still had injuries.

"Where the hell did you come from, old piece of shit? Why did you suddenly attack like that?" I questioned him. I had to stall for as much time as I possibly could. My regeneration still hadn't healed me.

"You seem to have quite a foul mouth" The old man remarked as he adjusted his monocle.

Now wait a minute, I know this guy. "You're Gunther aren't you, why are you here, what business does Valentine have with me?"

"Ha ha haha.... You're very interesting indeed. Luminas-sama had warned me that you would know things that you're not supposed to"

That's right, this guy was the butler of Luminas Valentine, one of the Demon Lords. He was a vampire of the highest ranking, with strength far surpassing the weaker Demon Lords.

'Why the hell is he here, nothing of this sort happened to Rimuru. Has my presence already changed things? Or is there another variable? Perhaps another otherworlder like me with future knowledge.... But there's another possibility....'

"What do you want, old man??" I enquired.

"Before that, '𝘈𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘦', You seem to have somewhat recovered from my earlier attack, it's time to resume our game." Gunther said with an ominous smile. With that, he leaned forward as he prepared another attack.

'Shit! I can't block another attack like the one before,, but it seems like he's going for a physical attack by his stance. I have to get up, come on, come on come ONNN!!'

*BOOM*

Cracks formed in the ground as Gunther dashed towards me at insane speeds with hand reaching forward.

'I can't dodge this, what to do, what to do, nonONOnONonoNOnOnONOno, SHITTT!!'

Everything happened in a flash. I lifted my arms in front of my face, closed my eyes and braced my self for the impact..... But it didn't come--

*CRASH*

I slowly opened my eyes. There was an obsidian-black wall in front of me.

'Wha-what? Is that-- Wait, NO... NO!!' I got up in desperation as I realized what had just happened.

"That's a loyal pet you have there. Quite resilient too." said Gunther.

A/N: The fifth chapter is out!! The plot is starting to thicken.

Ya'll will have to suffer through the cliffhanger. I probably won't upload tom, since its Sunday (I made this chapter extra big in return). But regular updates after that. By regular I mean, 3-4 chaps a week. I've been uploading daily because its the first week, but I can't keep up like this.

Though I will try to be as consistent as possible.
