Magisteel? and the Storm Dragon?

"I've been thinking about getting a spear for a while," I said to the person across the table, cutting into the cake with her spoon and placing it in her mouth, savoring the cake.

"This cake is so good; did you really make it?" The small fairy said as she ignored what I was saying, "You know that I made this; food items that I bring you are made by me or Shizu."

"Hum, well, I was teasing you. Don't get grumpy all of a sudden; if you bring me enough material, I could create you a spear with quality beyond any weapon currently on you in a snap," she said as I skeptically looked at the smugly grinning fairy.

"I'll have you know that my weapons are unique in grade, and my armor and earrings are legendary grade" She heard what I said, but she still seems pretty confident in herself. "So what kind of materials would you need? If it's something I can afford, I will bring it to you."

"Magic ores, the purest ones you can get, bring them here, and I will forge one for you, a spear that is a grade above all the equipment you currently have, a God grade one" She suddenly turned utterly serious, as she said. I knew that a god-grade weapon was only heard and viewed as myths and legends. I didn't think it would be real.

"If I could make a spear and still have material left, I would forge a sword for Shizu." She is seriously spoiling us just because we would be "True Spirits"—which is basically, her children one day.

"Very well, I shall do my best to find you the most purest metal in this world" She nodded with a smile as she took the cookie that was on the next tray, and ate it.

If I remember correctly, the aura of powerful beings can turn a normal ore into magic ore, so I should look into someone with enough power to make the purest ore, which would only be True Dragons.

Obviously, I would not be naive and go to one of the True Dragons territories, but there is one who was sealed, and his presence is still thoroughly felt by the entire world; he is leaking his magicules like crazy. I would bet that the entire cave is one big magic ore.

And like that, I departed from the labyrinth located in Ulgresia, floating through the air. I contacted Shizue and told her that I would be away from the kingdom for a week.

She did not question me, not only because she has complete trust in me but also because we could feel if the other was in any kind of danger.

The forest could be considered the epitome of beauty, this place where countless races live, but still, the beauty could not truly shine as a True Dragon had claimed this as his territory and most of the humans are scared to come here.

After flying for some time, I saw the gate from far away as I sensed the energy levels becoming more and more dense. This aura could erase a human from existence with a single drop of it. He is truly terrifying—to normal humans, that is, and I'm not that much of a human.

Pushing the door open with my right hand, the doors seemed rusted. Well, no one had opened this in pretty much 240 or so years, so it should be rusted.

Touching the door once more as the door began to glow a shining golden color, the rust had faded away. What I did was a basic spell called "Purify." The spell is useful in these cases; otherwise, it is pretty useless.

Closing the door and walking inside, I saw a lot of monsters and even herbs. I didn't care about it for now as I unleashed some of my 'Haki' in a ten-meter range, killing some of the weaker monsters and alerting the others; they didn't dare to move after witnessing what happened to the others..

Now walking without anyone to interrupt my peaceful metal hunting, I began to inspect the ores as I was walking. I found one thing interesting about the ores.

The deeper I get, the better the quality. So I decided to get the densest and purest one in the entire cave; this would set up an interesting meeting between me and the Storm Dragon Veldora.

After walking for a few minutes and crossing a river, I finally encountered the one and only Storm Dragon, Veldora.

"You! What are you?" He roared, and the cave began shaking as I approached the ores just outside the barrier and put my hands on them.

"You should introduce yourself before asking for personal information from anyone." I decided to act like I don't know who he is; obviously, everyone knows who the Storm Dragon is..

"Huh? So are you telling me that you don't know me? the Storm Dragon Veldora? Are you mocking me, mortal?" Once again, he began roaring, this time more intensely. Truly, he is an impulsive creature as they say.

"No, I know you, and yes, I'm mocking you, and no, I'm not a mortal," I I once again said it with an impassive and neutral face, betraying no emotion.

"I was teaching you to introduce yourself before asking for a name, that's all." He calmed down, at least quite a bit, and he seemed to be thinking about what I had said before: that I'm not mortal.

"So, now that I've introduced myself, tell me who you are, what your name is, and why you have come to my abode!" He said as he looked at me in mild interest now that he knew that I'm not a mere mortal.

"My name is Karna, a hero, and I have come here in search of dense and pure magic ore. On the outside, we wouldn't get ores dense like this, so I've decided to come here." Breaking off a part of the rock, I took it and showed him the purity by transferring a small amount of magic through it, and it caught fire as it accepted my imagination.

"Karna and a hero, huh? You seem pretty strong, so you should be a hero or a demon lord. And about the ores, I have no use for them, so take as much as you want." Now, he appears to be a sensible individual, but this perception might be influenced by the loneliness he experienced from being cut off from the world.

"I will come to visit sometimes, but now I gotta go; I have things to do. So sorry about that, but I will come back when I get time." I said as he nodded. I could've set him free, but something told me not to. I don't know what it was, but it was definitely dangerous.

After leaving the cave, I flew to the labyrinth, but just as I was about to land, I sensed a different energy signature than Ramiris, but it was similar to that of a dragon.

"Wahahaha!" I could hear laughter inside as I spread my senses inside the labyrinth. I would be careful about this individual.

So, how was this chapter? If you liked this, put some reviews in there. We don't have enough ratings currently, so let's hopefully change that!

Don't forget to drop some stones; there is no need to be shy about it.

He had met Veldora and didn't free him, but what could be the reason? What is it that he deems dangerous?

Who is the next person he's going to meet? It's basically wide open who he will meet, so comment here!

I decided to do the Freedom Academy on-screen as Slice of Life chapters when I would eventually run out of fuel for the main story, so it would take a while, but I still look forward to writing some good and wholesome chapters.

Good luck, and God bless you.
