Returning home

Slowly regaining my consciousness, I opened my eyes to see Veldora watching over me with a hint of worry in his eyes. "Are you finally awake, Raiden?" he asked. Feeling his worry through our connection, I replied, "Yes, I am. But what happened? Why do I feel so tired....."

"Well, that's because you just evolved. It should be quite normal for you to feel tired after that." Veldora said. "I see....." Finally remembering what happened, I started to feel incredible power coursing through my whole body, though it was nothing still compared to what I was feeling from Veldora. "So this is what an evolution of race feels like huh....." I murmured to myself. Feeling a bit curious, I walked over to the lake and and looked down to see my reflection, and honestly the sight that greeted me was quite surprising.

Standing there was a 10 year old child with Silver hair and red eyes, with 2 horns growing out of his forehead. An incredibly handsome face and a leaner body filled with muscles that were well defined, a contrast to my previous body shape which was on the much more bulkier side like most ogres. I could also see that my horns have slimmed down from it's previous bulk. It was easy to see that in I would grow up to be extremely attractive. Feeling satisfied by my appearance, I walked back over to Veldora and started to thank him, to which he simply shrugged it off and said that it was a small thing for a friend. Though he expressed his worries for me, stating that he was afraid that due to his massive magicule amount, when naming me, I would be overloaded with magicules and simply explode if I could not endure it. Feeling the realization stepping in, horror crept onto my face due to how close I had been to dying. ( An example of this is when Veldora named Ifrit, if it wasn't thanks to rimuru or more specifically Raphael, Ifrit would have died due to supplying him with too much magicules for his naming. )

Shaking my head and getting the horrifying thought out of my head, I asked him, "Hey Veldora, is there anything I could do to help get you out of here? I feel bad for leaving you here." Realizing what my question implied, he replied with a sad smile "So it's almost time for you to leave here and head back home huh..... While unfortunate, there's really nothing you can do unless you get much much more stronger, which is really quite impossible for now at least, though it might be possible if continue to evolve and perhaps after a hundred years, you might be able to break me out of here." Hearing his worlds made me feel a bit downhearted, though I cast is aside and transformed my body into lightning whilst gathering every last bit of my magicule into my fists. "I see, but there's really nothing wrong with me trying is there??" Hearing my words, Veldora was surprised but before he could say anything, I rushed forward with my top speed and within milliseconds threw out a punch containing every last bit of my power.

*BBOOOOMMMMMMM*

With the power packed punch thrown into the imprisonment, I was disappointed to see that it had absolutely no effect at all. All of the sudden, I was thrown backwards a large distance by the after effects of the punch. Falling down, I immediately got back up and was shocked to see the effects my punch had on the environment. Excluding the fact that the imprisonment was completely unharmed, the surrounding environment though had turned into some sort of small stone plain the whole place that was previously filled with rocks, magic ores and even some grass, alongside the lake that was previously there being completely evaporated for as I could see tens or maybe even a hundred meters far in every direction . Even the ground that was previously higher had been lowered by several meters. While this shouldn't really be much of a surprise, everything here should have been strengthened by Veldora's leaking aura, making it incomparably hard to the same stones outside.

Looking at this scene and my face of shock, Veldora suddenly let out a huge boisterous laugh. "HAHAHAHAHAA!!!!! AS EXPCECTED OF THE ONE I CHOSE TO CALL A FRIEND. I SHOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED ANYTHING LESS THAN YOU, RAIDEN!!!!" Hearing he's words, I embarrassedly said, "Sorry about that, Veldora. I accidently destroyed your whole cave. But really, I wasn't expecting that....."

"Hahahaha, don't mind it. That punch of yours sure was incredible though." Hearing his words, I let out a sigh of relief and started to create a small lightning tag and drew a rune on it, before heading back to Veldora and sticking it right now his imprisonment. With that done I said "With this rune, you should be able to communicate with me using thought communication no matter where or how far I am. I know that you're thought communication should be limited due to the imprisonment so this rune will channel your thoughts all the way to me. This way, no matter what happens, you can always contact me if you need help, not that I think you would need it, or just use it to talk to me whenever you so wish." Hearing my words, Veldora couldn't help but nod in appreciation and directly tested it out. Though I realized that I or Veldora had to deactivate it when I was in close proximity, cause boy his thoughts suddenly seemed as though it were screaming as loud as possible in my head, leading to me getting a headache.

After that, I started to say goodbye and promised to visit as soon as possible. "Not that It would even be hard to do so, considering with my new found speed, I could probably be here in less than a minute." I mumbled to myself.

After which I directly exited the cave and realized that the sun had already rose. Suddenly though, dread filled up my whole being causing me to shiver in fear uncontrollably. With the sun already up, it should mean that my parents were already searching for me. Added to that the sudden tremor of my punch and everything combined, made it very very possible to be searching for me in extreme panic. Feeling the dread, I started to contemplate if I should head back or should I just build a new home right here and hide from their wrath as long as possible. Though that dread was added in with extreme annoyance with the voice I suddenly heard in my head, "Hahahaha, it seems you're in quite the pickle eh, Raiden. This should be fun...." Hearing that voice, I decided to head home and brace myself for my parents wrath...
