Village Development!! Conflict!!

(Lucifer POV)

It's been a few months since the Orc Lord battle, our village has developed greatly since then.

Our small village has turned into a modernized town, all the buildings can now be compared to the ones from our old world in the old days.

With an aqua dock that could be used to get clean water, flushing toilets, and sewage systems.

We're also building roads and have created new fabrics for clothes, just like in the original.

The ogre chief also agreed to serve under us also after seeing how kind we were and how Benimaru and the others were adamant about it, he also stayed.

He asked the rest of his people about their opinion, and they all agreed, saying they love me and Rimuru alot already and would be delighted to serve us.

The 198,000 orcs started to serve under us to, with all these new monsters serving us, it took me and Rimuru around 13 days in order to name all of the ogres and orcs.

But currently, I'm in my personal house which is next to Rimuru's house, a Japanese design styled house.

I personally liked Japanese-styled houses more than American even though I use to live in America.

Currently with me is Shion, who is in the purple suit she always wears but this time her breasts weren't out.

I asked the clothing designer to make the suit more breathable so she can close it without feeling stressed because I am not letting some bozos get fanservice from her.

Rimuru seemed annoyed about the fact but he also agreed, he said he forgot to change it.

What a liar.

But I just finished teaching her about magic, lately, I have been a teacher to all the ogres when it comes to magic since I had a good understanding of magic since coming into this world, and from watching the anime, I was a pretty good teacher.

"Do you understand Shion?" I question her.

When I taught Shion, I also taught her how she shouldn't just go showing off her body to everyone like that, even though it's by accident.

If she understood what she was doing then I wouldn't care because she can do what she want's, but I wanted her to understand what she was doing.

It seemed that at first, she didn't understand the consequences of showing off her body but once she understood, she decided she didn't wanna show off her body as much anymore, she said she only wore it because Rimuru gave it to her and she treasured it but that it should be fine now since I was the one who changed it.

"Yes! I understand!" She exclaimed with a smile.

"Alright, I'll see you later." I said to her.

She nodded with a bright smile and left my room.

I'm not trying to tell her what to do, it's more like I want her to understand what she is doing and to let her decide on her own, but I am happy with her decision.

Once she left, I was contemplating on what I should do next, I'm thinking of leaving for a little journey.

I'll probably leave in a few weeks.

'Yo Lucifer, we have visitors, meet me at the open fields near the entrance.' Rimuru said, interrupting my thought process through a thought communication.

'Sure.' I reply.

I start focusing on my magic sense and I can see dozens of flying pegasuses flying towards us, it's probably the Hero King Gazel and his men wanting to test us.

I leave my house and Shunpo to the location Rimuru informed me about.

I see Shion, Benimaru, Souei, Hakuro, and Rimuru already there, staring at the pegasuses that were landing near them, there were over 50 pegasuses with men on them.

I walk up to the group, Rimuru just nodded at me and explained to me who Gazel is, I just nodded and walked to the ogres.

"Good afternoon Lord Lucifer." Hakuro greeted.

"Nice to see you Lord Lucifer." Benimaru also greeted.

Shion just flamboyantly waved at me saying hi since I was just with her.

"Lord Lucifer." Souei greeted me with a nod, I told him before he shouldn't force himself to talk if he doesn't want to and that I wouldn't mind, it seems he has taken my advice to heart.

Looking to my left, I see Kaijin running full speed toward us, he probably misses his dwarf king.

Once all of the pegasuses landed, King Gazel walked right up to us.

I walked up next to Rimuru, standing side by side with him, he just smiled at the support.

Gazel questioningly looked at me, probably because I was standing side by side with Rimuru, it seems he doesn't know who I am and my outfit is making him even more confused but eventually, a look of realization went across his face.

"You must be Lucifer Tempest." Gazel stated looking directly into my eyes.

The ogres seemed to be offended because of the lack of respect.

Shion was about to say something but Souei zipped her mouth up with his threads, she glared at him but stayed silent because she understood she could cause a war if she makes a commotion.

Benimaru's fiery aura could be seen coming out of his body but he immediately reeled it back in and just silently stared at the confrontation, with his katana ready.

Hakuro was much older than everyone else, so he could control his emotions but he was still angry, he just silently watched, also ready if a fight happens.

Rimuru himself just narrowed his eyes.

I just smile at Gazel.

"What do we owe this pleasure, your majesty?" I say in a sarcastic voice with a smirk on my face.

The soldiers behind him looked angered, they were about to retort but Gazel raised his hand up, and they shut up immediately.

"I'll be straight with you guys, I came here to determine the worth of both of you. I will determine that by fighting you." Gazel stated straightforwardly.

He put a hand on his katana and pointed at our weapons.

"Are those weapons for show or do you know how to actually use them?" Gazel questioningly mocked.

He was talking about the black holsters that Kurobei just made for me, theirs one on each of my thighs with my Hellsing pistols in them.

I relaxed my hand on the holsters, ready for anything.

Rimuru also had his hand on his katana, ready for a battle to start.

Gazel and Hinata are relative in strength, I would say he's probably only a little weaker than her, so I can't underestimate him.

The best plan is to catch him off guard, it's gonna be much easier since he's underestimating us badly, I smirked inwardly.

"If you guys can hold your own against me for a short amount of time, I will deem you worthy of the title of Chancellors of the Great Jura Forest." Gazel stated.

"Sure but I'll make you reg-" Rimuru was about to accept the challenge but I cut him off.

"Why the hell do we have to prove ourselves to you? Who do you think you are?" I chuckle at his show of arrogance.

One thing Rimuru has to learn is you need to be aggressive sometimes to gain someone's respect or to make them take you seriously.

This guy right now, probably sees us as jokes and I plan to change that.

'Dude what are you doing!?' Rimuru questioned through thought communication.

'Trust me. With people like him, you can't just be nice, you have to be a little rough.' I replied.

Rimuru reluctantly stayed quiet and just watched the confrontation.

Gazel questioningly looked at me.

I instantly pull out my pistols, aiming at Gazel, and activate one of my Ultimate Skills, sub-skill.

'Remove Bullets.'

I made sure to control the output of Magicules so it doesn't kill him.

I immediately shot, he seemed confident that his barrier could block whatever I sent, so he just stood still confidently.

But at the last second his eyes seemed to have widened in realization as the bullets bypassed his barrier like butter, he tried to block the bullets with his sword but it was to late.

Once the bullet touched his armor, he was sent flying over 1000 meters.

*BOOOOMMM!*

Everybody was dumbstruck.

Even his soldiers had their mouths open, but eventually, they got out of their stupor and looked at me with anger in their eyes.

They all pulled out their swords from their sheaths, once they pulled out their swords, the ogres also started to pull out their swords ready to fight.

Shion seemed to be looking at me with stars in her eyes, the others also looked proud of what I did except Rimuru.

Rimuru just sent me a glare because of what I did but just sighed and readied his katana just in case Gazel comes back for a fight.

"STOP!!"

Gazel exclaimed from over 500 meters away using Magicules to amplify his voice.

He seemed to be walking here, albeit slowly, he seems to be injured, and his chest plate was completely destroyed by my attack.

His chest looked bloodied to hell but it was regenerating at a slow pace.

"LOWER YOUR WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY!!"

He ordered his soldiers once he reached us.

All the soldiers were startled at his voice but immediately followed his orders and sheathed all their swords.

Once they sheathed their swords, Rimuru also told the ogres to sheath their swords.

Kaijin was just watching from the side dumbfounded at how "easily" I sent his king flying, I chuckled at how his face looked.

His face reminds me of Enel's face from One Piece when Luffy was beating his ass.

He started to use one of his soldiers as support and walked up to us slowly with his soldiers behind him.

"I apologize for looking down on you two, you guys are indeed strong enough to do what you want. I just hope you aren't angry at what I did, I just wanted to make sure you guys were good people with good intentions and I have found out you are good people after that confrontation. No hard feelings?" Once Gazel reached us he apologized immediately and explained his actions.

"Yes, we understand it's fine." Rimuru replied nonchalantly but I could tell he was mad at me.

I just nodded along with his words.

I was trying my hardest to keep a straight face and act like what I did earlier was easy because I had to make sure he saw me as a dangerous opponent.

But in reality, I used over half of my Magicules on that attack and I feel very exhausted and weak.

Gazel's eyes eventually fell upon Hakuro who was behind me and his face morphed into a surprised one.

They knew each other in the past because Hakuro was his teacher and he hasn't seen him since.

"Long time no see King Gazel, maybe later we can have a spar for old times sake." Hakuro greeted.

"I would be honored to do so with you." Gazel responded with a smile on his face.

We started to guide them to a building where they could stay to recuperate.

Rimuru even gave Gazel a full potion in order to heal his injuries, eventually, we left them to their own devices.

Gazel also said he would come later to discuss important things with us, but we still had our spies watching them if they tried anything funny, Gazel noticed this but understood the reason for it.

Me and Rimuru entered the newly modernized meeting room, he seemed annoyed about what I did even though everything worked out perfectly.

"What the hell is your problem!?" Rimuru exclaimed at me.

"What do you mean?" I feign ignorance.

"You know what I mean! You could have started a war and the people under us could have been in danger! You need to be more careful with what you do!" He seems pretty mad.

"Well, you can't always be passive! You need to stop letting people step over you like that, there is nothing wrong with being nice but you need to let them know your not all talk! You can't always be nice because if you do, in the future you're going to be the one who endangers our people because of your naivety!" I retorted back angrily.

This is probably the first time I've gotten actually angry with him but the way he does certain things is completely wrong and he needs to accept that!

His eyes seemed to have widened in surprise since this is probably the first time he's seen me actually angry.

"Whatever!" He turns his head away from me and starts to look out the window.

"*Sigh* Listen just think about what I said, we're not children who just bicker." I sigh and walk out of the meeting room.

As soon as I stepped outside, I stumbled and caught myself against the wall.

'Fuck! That attack took a good amount out of me.' I inwardly thought.

Looking to my right, Shion and Shuna were there looking at me worriedly.

"Lord Lucifer!!"

"Are you okay!?"

Shion and Shuna ran up to me making sure I was okay but I put my hand up gesturing that I'm fine.

"Relax, I'm fine I just tripped, and don't worry about Rimuru, everyone gets into arguments." I reassure them with a gentle smile.

They both just nodded unconvincingly but begrudgingly went back to work because they could tell I didn't wanna talk about it.

I Shunpoed to a hill outside but I was careful not to exert too much Magicules.

Once I was on the hill I just fell on my ass and laid against a tree.

It was dark, I didn't even realize it was night because I was going so fast.

I just chuckled and transformed back to my cat form and just laid there thinking, waiting for my Magicules to be at full capacity.

'I need to get more powerful so I can use moves like that easily without having to feel tired, well, that can wait for tomorrow.'

'For now, let's just chill and star gaze.'
