29 Ten Great Saints vs Lucifer and Rimuru

"Shall we get started now?" Lucifer questioned smiling.

Silence ensued.

"Uhm! Rimuru do the thing." Lucifer coughed nervously, nudging Rimuru's shoulder with his.

"Oh yeah!" Rimuru put his hand onto Lucifer's shoulder and a light purple luminous light slightly brightened but disappeared soon after.

Lucifer felt something entering inside him but it was as if he couldn't control it or touch it, it simply just entered him.

'That sounded wrong but let's just ignore it.' Lucifer just shook his head inwardly.

Lucifer suddenly heard a robotic female voice inside his head.

'Naruhodo, Naruhodo.' Lucifer stroked his imaginary beard with an inquisitive glance.

The others around him looked at him weirdly.

"I've had enough!" Hinata's patience run out and she lunged at Lucifer once more.

Rimuru slightly bent his knees, and pulled out his katana, getting ready to defend Lucifer.

But before he could even take one step, he heard Lucifer mutter something.

"Yes."

As soon as Lucifer said yes, a pressure full of malice suddenly started weighing on everyone except Rimuru but disappeared immediately after.

Hinata was slightly startled but ignored the pressure and instantly appeared in front of Lucifer with her sword slashing down with the intention to kill.

Rimuru was startled by the sudden increase in her speed but calmly assessed the situation.

'It seems Lucifer has got a handle on things.' Rimuru quickly glanced at Lucifer using thought acceleration and noticed he was calm, so he decided to trust him.

As soon as Hinata's sword was about to connect with Lucifer's head, Lucifer just dodged to the right slightly and disappeared.

Hinata's sword connected with the ground leaving behind a large crater.

"Tsk, I won't miss again." Hinata glared at Lucifer who was back next to Rimuru.

Lucifer was frowning at the message that had appeared in his face.

He felt a rush of power but it disappeared as soon as it came.

'I only feel slightly stronger than before but I can feel it growing at a steady pac-.' Lucifer thought inwardly before getting interrupted by a sword coming for his neck.

Lucifer's eyebrows creased in annoyance.

Immediately bending backward to dodge the incoming sword, he pulls out his gun aiming at her head but was interrupted by another sword from behind.

Doing a backflip, Lucifer lands on a tree branch.

"Hehe, Can we talk about thi-" Lucifer nervously chuckled but was cut off again by a projectile hitting his branch, making him fall downwards.

But he just flipped in the air and landed perfectly on the ground.

"Jeez, can you guys let me finish my sentences!" Lucifer huffed in annoyance.

Looking around, he could see he was completely surrounded by all Ten Great Saints including the foot soldiers.

"It's over for you." As soon as Hinata said those words, magic attacks came from all directions.

"This might have been a little harder if I was alone but I'm not." Lucifer winked.

Once Lucifer finished his words, Rimuru suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Gluttony!" Rimuru extended both his hands out and a purple swirl came from them, devouring all the magic attacks in an instant.

All the soldiers, even the Ten Great Saints were gobsmacked at how easily Rimuru nullified their attacks.

'That ones also very unpredictable.' Hinata narrowed her eyes at the sudden ability.

"You guys know I'm still here right?" Rimuru's eyebrow was twitching in annoyance.

"Well, It doesn't matter if theirs one or two of them, ATTACK!" Hinata ordered.

Everyone started to charge toward Rimuru and Lucifer from all directions.

"Hurry up and give me a copy of your sword." Lucifer quickly told Rimuru.

"A please would have been nice." Rimuru muttered, but just made a copy and gave it to him.

"Thanks." Lucifer quickly smiled and suddenly slashed behind him, clashing with Renard.

"Sneak attack? Tsk, tsk, to slow." Lucifer smirked, kicking Renard, launching him hundreds of meters away.

Feeling a punch coming from behind, he doesn't even attempt to dodge and just takes the attack.

"*Yawn* I thought I felt something." Lucifer yawned with his finger blocking the punch of a buff man easily.

"W-what the hell!? Not even a budge!?" Grigori felt like his hand had just met a solid wall.

Grasping onto his knuckles, Lucifer tosses Grigori away.

"So weak." Lucifer muttered.

Lucifer suddenly dodged left and a projectile went whizzing past him.

Looking toward the direction where it came from, Glenda can be seen with her pistol aiming at him.

Pulling out his pistol, he was holding it with his left hand while holding his sword with his right hand.

He started running towards Glenda while continuously shooting at her, one of his bullets eventually shot her pistol out of her hand.

He Shunpoed directly in front of her and slashed at her neck but before it could connect, he was blown away by a sudden wind gust.

"Glenda you good?" Fritz questioned, walking up to her.

"Behind you!" Glenda panickly pointed behind him but before he could even turn around he felt his vision suddenly flip upside down.

Everyone stopped fighting and looked at the headless body that laid on the ground.

"Fritz!" Hinata clenched her teeth in anger, glaring at Lucifer.

The others shared her sentiments, looking at Lucifer with either fear or anger.

"What!? You guys would have done the same thing! I just did it first!" Lucifer had a bloodthirsty smile on his face.

"Come on I want more!" Lucifer whipped his katana clean of blood.

"Bastard!"

"I'll kill you!"

Grigori and Renard suddenly came out of nowhere and launched at Lucifer.

"No!" Hinata tried to stop them but Rimuru kept her busy.

"Tsk, tsk, to hasty! But I appreciate the sentiment!" Lucifer smiled crazily and instantly appeared behind them.

"What th-"

"Such power-"

Before they could even speak again their upper body suddenly slipped off and fell down.

Glenda was covering her mouth in fear of Lucifer, she seemed to be fear-stricken, not moving a single muscle.

'Great sage, Lucifer seems to be acting differently, what seems to be the problem?' Rimuru questioned calmly while dodging an incoming water slice coming from his right.

[It seems that the individual named Lucifer is being influenced by the Demon Lord Evolution.] Great Sage replied monotonously.

'I started my Demon Lord evolution around the same time he did and I feel fine other than a little tiredness here and there.' Rimuru remarked while blocking an obvious slash coming from Hinata.

'It seems like she's getting a little reckless because of the death of her subordinates.' Rimuru inwardly thought.

[Rather the individual named Lucifer is getting affected by his Ultimate Skill that is currently out of control and is affecting his mind, the effects will wear off shortly.] Great Sage explained.

'I see, good! Surprisingly even though I'm seeing lots of blood, my heart feels rather calm and unbothered. I guess I truly am a monster at heart too.' Rimuru sighed inwardly, using Gluttony to devour a stream of fire heading towards him.

While Glenda was staring at Lucifer fear-stricken, she noticed him walking closer and closer to herself.

She backed up panickedly and turned around trying to run away but Lucifer just appeared in front of her.

"I'm not done with you just yet." Lucifer winked with a crazed smile.

Glenda fell on her butt, backing up frantically but eventually she was stopped by a tree.

Lucifer crouched down and smiled, putting his gun against her head.

"Ciao."

As soon as Lucifer was about to pull the trigger, he looked down and noticed his pistol was sliced in half.

Looking back up he realized Glenda wasn't there anymore but in Hinata's grasp.

"My bad, she slipped away." Rimuru appeared next to Lucifer, suspiciously glancing at Lucifer.

"Relax, I know I'm acting a bit different but I'm not out of complete control." Lucifer noticed Rimuru's glance and explained.

Rimuru just nodded silently, not trusting his words.

Across from them, it seems as if the remainder of the 7 Ten Great Saints gathered together, standing together battered except Hinata who looked fine.

Blood seemed to be everywhere, it seemed that Lucifer killed the foot soldiers without even knowing.

"Leave." Hinata muttered.

"Huh?"

"What do you mean "leave"?"

"Leave?"

Hinata's order seemed to have confused them.

"Just leave if you want me to win, you guys are just holding me back. I could have stabbed the blue-haired monster multiple times but he's been using your guy's body as shields without you guys even noticing." Hinata explained coldly.

All their eyes widened at the revelation.

'All thanks to [Great Sage]! Nice job!' Rimuru thanked [Great Sage] because it was their idea.

[Of course master.] Great Sage responded with a tone full of pride.

The Saints couldn't argue, they just sighed and knew she was right,

"Your right, you better win."

"You better not die before I get the chance to beat you and reclaim my spot as leader."

"Don't lose!"

They all started to say goodbye and turned their backs to leave.

Lucifer didn't stop them since he had other plans for them.

Once their backs were gone, he glanced over at where Hinata was but she wasn't there.

Feeling a slash coming from behind, he was about to clash but Rimuru did it for him.

Clang!

"Your quiet fiesty." Rimuru remarked nervously, feeling himself losing in terms of strength.

Rimuru backed away from the clash and stared at Hinata warily, Hinata did the same.

"Listen Hinata why are you doing this!? We haven't done anything wrong!" Rimuru questioned, trying to resolve the situation with words.

"Look around you, it's too late to stop this." Hinata glanced at the dead bodies around her, her eyes flickered with sadness but her eyes seemed to have gone into some sort of trance.

"Hinata listen, theirs this guy you know named Yuuki, he has influenced your mind into attackin-" Rimuru's words were cut off by Hinata attempting to cut his head off, with him simply bending backward.

"Enough of your trickery! Hand back the kids and repent for killing Shizue Sensei!" Hinata exclaimed, getting into some sort of stance.

"I'm getting serious now." Hinata muttered.

"Melt Slash!"

Hinata disappeared from Rimuru's vision and her blade appeared mere inches before his eyes.

"Now!" Lucifer yelled seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

As soon as he said these words, Rimuru yanked the thin air while Lucifer snapped his finger.

A dome barrier appeared entrapping Hinata specifically.

At the same time, unique-looking threads suddenly entrapped Hinata's upper and lower body completely except her head.

"Gotcha!" Lucifer exclaimed with a smile.

Rimuru wiped the imaginary sweat off his face.

"That was close, even a second later, I would be dead." Rimuru sighed.

Hinata seemed to be squirming inside the thread, trying to break out.

"Let me go! You damned monsters!" Hinata struggled to even move an inch, she was basically cocooned.

"Arghh!!" She seemed to be trying to break it with her aura but nothing worked, it was as if her aura it getting absorbed.

"Calm down, trust me your not breaking that. The dome that we activated earlier was a [Anti-Magic Barrier] solely focused on not allowing you to use magic, so no magic. The threads are a unique skill that we were able to evolve into being able to absorb magic."

"And to top it off with a cherry, do you remember when I originally tried to sneak attack you with a bullet? It was actually a poisonous bullet that weakens your physical body over time, I already knew you were strong enough to not get caught by surprise, so we had to be a little sneaky." Lucifer explained with a smug smile on his face.

Hinata's eyes widened in surprise.

"Damn it! I can't lose, I have to at least avenge my comrades and save Shizue Sensei's students." Rather than calm down, Hinata got even more agitated.

"Okay I've had enough, we will talk when you wake up." Lucifer walked up to Hinata.

"Wake up? Wai-!" Hinata questioned confusedly until it dawned on her.

"Nope." Lucifer punched with his full strength right into her temple, knocking her out immediately because of her weakened state.

"Did you really have to punch that hard?" Rimuru raised his eyebrow questioningly.

"Yes, she's fucking strong." Lucifer muttered while looking at his bruised right hand from punching her.

Rimuru's eyes widened at the sudden injury but soon calmed down.

"Yeah she was definitely strong, if we didn't play cheap we would have lost. Did you capture the Saints that were fleeing when I was distracting her?" Rimuru questioned.

"Yeah, I left them over there laying on the tree. Did you collect all the dead souls including the saints?" Lucifer questioned back.

"Yup, once I fully evolve I should be able to resurrect them." Rimuru nodded while using his threads to grab the 6 Saints who were beaten to a pulp.

"It's going all according to plan, let's go home." Lucifer smiled in relief, while walking towards Tempest.
