2 I Turned Into A Cat!!

A cat can be seen sleeping in an empty dark cave, it's golden eyes start fluttering open.

'Ugh, my head is killing me. Where the hell am I?' Lucifer thought.

The cat started to get up slowly, still in a daze.

'Why do I feel so light and small? Wait a minute... WHEN THE HELL DID I HAVE FOUR LEGS?!'

Once he came across this realization, he started to run around frantically, only to run into a wall and yelp in pain. 'What the hell, that shit hurt badly, I can't even see, am I in some sort of dream? Ok calm down Lucifer, breathe in and breathe out.'

The cat can be seen calming down, it started looking around curiously, and it began walking around aimlessly. It started to have a feel for its body walking around slowly while jumping and seeing how fast he is.

'Just from the way I move and my size, I can consider myself some sort of agile pet, am I a cat? That's weird I've never had a dream as a cat'

'I also don't think I'm blind, I think wherever I am is just too dark, I can also conclude this because I can still see it's not completely black, now that I think about it, cats should have some sort of night vision sight which is why I can still see somewhat in this pitch black darkness.'

(Few Hours Later)

'Ughhh, I've been walking around aimlessly for hours, I don't think this is a dream. Dreams would definitely not be this long, did I get isekaid or something? If I did, that would be awesome, I wonder if I'm back in my normal world or in some cool anime wor-'

While the cat was contemplating its situation, it stepped on something squishy.

"What the hell is this?"

The cat spoke for the first time and its eyes widened in shock, it didn't have time to wonder why the hell his voice was so high because a voice interrupted him in his head.

'A TALKING CAT, AHHHH!!'

A little blue blob jumped back out of fear.

'Wait a minute... is that a slime? There is no way I am where I think I am. THERE IS NO WAY!! Is that Rimuru Tempest or should I say soon-to-be Rimuru Tempest? I reincarnated into one of my favorite animes called "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime", LET'S GOOOOOOO!!'

'Let me calm down, I could very well be wrong, there are lots of slimes in lots of animes, but I do love the Tensura anime so much because of the diversity with all the magic and races. It had so many creative magical abilities, I also loved how even the weakest of races could become one of the strongest.'

Recollecting himself he opens back up his eyes, gazing at the slime who is staring at him curiously.

Once the slime realized that the cat had no ill intentions, he started to approach it slowly, wondering how it could speak.

It was just testing out its skills because it didn't know what else to do and it randomly gets stepped on by a cat.

'How the hell can a cat be speaking? Well, who the hell am I to speak.'The slime thought.

"You're surprised by a talking cat when you yourself are a slime who has telepathy and magical powers!?" Lucifer questioned dumbfoundedly.

He was at first surprised by the voice in his head but he remembered that at this point in time, Rimuru hadn't gotten the ability to speak yet. But he still wanted to confirm exactly where he was.

'I guess your right, I just got so immersed in testing my new skills that I didn't notice you.' The slime embarrassedly scratched the back of its non-existent neck while telepathically replying.

'Nope, that's definitely Rimuru Tempest, I can recognize that voice from anywhere.'

'But I see so if he already can see and has gotten some skills, it means that this is after he ate Veldora.' Lucifer pondered.

"Well, I'm Lucifer Azoth nice to meet you, what's your name?" Lucifer greeted.

"Ah, I'm Rimuru Tempest! Nice to meet you too." Rimuru responded while holding out his non-existent slime hand, he seemed quite excited to tell his new name to others.

Lucifer just stared at him dumbfounded at the fact that he was holding his hand out for a handshake when they both don't have hands but he in turn just fist bumped him with his small paw.

Rimuru quickly realizes his blunder and just laughs it off nervously.

"HeheHehe"

"Wait I realized you are speaking English, are you perhaps a reincarnator like me?!" Rimuru asked excitedly.

"Yeah, I'm from New York."

"Cool!! That's amazing." Rimuru was truly happy because he didn't have to be alone in his journey, at least now he has someone to who he can relate too.

"Wait how can a slime see?" Lucifer questioned. He already knew the answer to it but he wanted Rimuru to explain it to him, just to make sure he doesn't miss anything.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, It's this thing called [Magic Sense] which uses this thing called Magicules around us to see. Oh, wait you probably don't know how to use it since you are also new here. Try and feel the Magicules in the vicinity around you or in other words just try and feel your surroundings by sensing them, rather than trying to use your eyes to look around."

Lucifer already knew what to do which is why he Instantly acquired magic sense as soon as Rimuru finished explaining.

'The world around me brightened and I could finally see clearly. I've been fine for now because it seems like Rimuru's slimey skin was bright and could be used as a nightlight. I think it has something to do with the Magicules he's gotten after being named by Veldora.'

Lucifer started to observe his surroundings with his newfound skill called [Magic Sense]. He literally has a 360 view of everything around him with a good amount of distance. He was dumbfounded by this ability he could literally see a good amount of distance behind him without looking, he also knows this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to magical abilities in this world.

He also started to admire himself, he had dark purple fur which could be mistaken for black, and golden eyes that have black irises that he himself finds enchanting. His size was just as big as a normal adult-sized cat too.

'I basically look like Yoruichi from Bleach in her cat form, I wonder if I'll be as sexy as she was in her human form, well that can wait for the future' Lucifer excitedly pondered.

"Alright let's find the exit and get out of here already, I'll explain everything about Magicules on the way." Rimuru interrupted his train of thought because he was excited to leave this gloomy cave with his newfound friend.

'He already considers me his friend when we just met and trusts me enough without questioning my motives or my goals, *sigh*, he really is naive but he is also smart enough to watch me with his [Magic Sense], he probably doesn't think I notice, at least he's careful enough to not fully trust me when we just met.'

Lucifer knows that the Rimuru in front of him is still inexperienced in this new world so he is still a little naive but he's not dumb at all. Lucifer also understood that the future Rimuru learned his lesson about being naive because when he was once caught off guard in the Falmuth Arc, his people died including his most loved secretary Shion.

He did resurrect them back alive but the grief he felt that day, made him more mature and made him understand he was being naive thinking it was going to be easy and safe.

"-elloo HELLOOO!!"

Snapping out of his train of thought because of a certain blue slime yelling at him.

"Oh, my bad I was lost in my thoughts"

"Well whatever dude, let's go." Confusion could be apparent on Rimurus face but soon turned into understanding, since he also gets lost in his thoughts a lot.

While walking towards what they believe is the exit, Rimuru explained everything he knows about Magicules . He was basically just copy-pasting what Great Sage said to him and telling it to Lucifer.

He explained how Magicules are the building blocks of life of all magical beings. He showed how he would eat Magicule rock ores just because it increased his own Magicules and he also believed that they might have some uses for the future so he kept some stored in his stomach. He also explained how he ate Hipokte Herbs which were herbs that were made up of Magicules that would be able to be used as healing potions for future events. Magicules was basically the chakra of the Tensura verse in more simple terms but their completely different things of course.

Rimuru also explained how names are very important and that giving a name to somebody can evolve them. He avoided saying who gave his name but he did say that when he did get a name he felt stronger and felt like he connected with them through the soul. He questioned how Lucifer got his name but Lucifer didn't know either, he told Rimuru they could talk about it once they were outside because he was also curious.

Rimuru then showed off some cool magical abilities that he obtained while practicing. One of them is called [Water Manipulation] he got this skill by literally spamming his water skills and then combining all of them together.

Now he can freely manipulate water with a limit of course but Lucifer knew that in the future, Rimuru would basically have no limits and be nearly impossible to defeat, even if his whole verse went against him, he would still no diff them.

Lucifers goal was to be as strong as Rimuru or maybe even stronger.

By the time Rimuru was finished explaining they could see a bright blinding light ahead of them, they could finally see the sun.

"Finally!!"
