The Another World genre had been widely popularized in creative works in the world.

Getting run-over by a truck, opening a book on the library, seeing a portal opening, playing a chess in a computer, and with a system with game mechanics.

It is genre fantasized by many people for its satisfying Overpowered main characters who does whatever they want, a harem full of beautiful and cute girls. Nothing could stand against their way.

Most people who like the genre had at least dream about such a thing happening to them. People fantasize about such things to use for escapism to the cruel world called the reality. But since such a thing as unrealistic they remain as just that way.

"Unbelievable..."

The boy muttered as he looked at the reflection of the mirror in front of him. It was an unfamiliar face staring directly into his eyes.

One thing though is that unlike any another world fictional works that existed, the common trope of being in a fantasy world with overpowered magical abilities doesn't happen.

The boy just woke up and found himself in a body that wasn't supposedly to be him.

He is one of those people who reads and watches this kind of genre, so he was already quite familiar with an event like this.

But there's still a lot he needed to cope up with, that he went to the Toilet to wash his face and freshen up his mind.

Then a voice came to call on him when he was busy thinking deeply.

"Heeeeeey~ Renji, how long do you have to stay in there? If we don't go back, Shikitani-sensei is going to scold us you know?"

According to the memories inherited from the original owner of the body, this guy was his friend and also a classmate. Though those memories we're quite vague and some had missing parts.

"Ah, yes! I'm coming."

Renji wiped his face with a towel he got from his bag. After that he left from the toilet.

Outside he found his friend waiting for him. He was dressed in a school uniform similar to Renji. His friend also had quite the cool and handsome face that girls would love.

"Sorry for the wait, Maki."

Renji greeted him as he walked towards him.

This is his friend Fukuda Maki.

Earlier in class Maki was called out by the teacher, so he was able to at least remember the name. Though he did act surprised when Maki suddenly talked to him like they know each other.

"What's the deal with that look in your face? Is your poop that big?"

Maki said when he noticed that Renji had a strange look in his face.

"Yes, yes. It's a big poop for sure."

Renji didn't bother explaining to him and just brushed it aside.

Despite him knowing this guy just recently, the body responds in reflex.

They two went back to their classrooms. They hurried up a little bit knowing that lunch break is going to end soon.

Luckily for them, they were barely able to enter class before the school bell rang.

Right after the end of class, Renji is planning to go home.

Now he started organizing his thoughts while searching his memories on the way back home.

First of all, his name was Miyazaki Renji.

Thirteen years old.

Renji had an above average height, slender build, black hair, and red eyes. His facial features you could tell he's kinda handsome, but still had the cuteness of childishness because of how young he looked. He's a typical growing younger boy known as a 'shota'.

If Older ladies with that were into that kind of thing met him, they would surely be heart struck with their nose bleeding.

Second, Renji is a second year middle schooler attending the Koujin Junior High. If you describe his role in his school life, he would be the best friend of the protagonist. Namely his friend Fukuda Maki.

Third, Renji was the second child of the Miyazaki Family. Based on Renji's memories, he had an older sister attending a quite prestigious high school. The father works as a police officer. And the mother worked as a housewife. They were a normal family of four.

"I finally got my act together."

After organizing the thoughts in his mind, he breathed in air into his lungs and sighed. Renji had been in a daze the entire class this afternoon thinking about it. Now he know what he's going to do.

"So that means I have to live as this Miyazaki Renji guy starting now?"

Renji asked himself despite already arriving to his answer.

Thinking back to his past life, he was just an office worker in a black company. Wages are low, always working at overtime, only have a day off once every month...

To think that he would be released as a corporate slave, and be reincarnated. Even if he bragged at anyone right now, they would only think he was crazy.

Who would believe that a widely popularized in fiction especially in anime and manga would happen to him?

So Renji made a rule to make sure not to say anything about this happening.

Who knows what will happen if by chance an evil mad scientist detects something really unusual in his DNA? He would be screwed for life.

His smartphone vibrated with a call.

Renji took his phone from his pocket and looked at the screen.

In there someone is calling with a name 'Mom' in it.

Renji answered the call.

"Mom?"

"Hey Ren-chan. Could you buy some Eggs for me on the way home? Your Mom forgot to buy earlier."

Renji heard the voice of his Mom through the phone.

"Huh? Eggs?"

"Riiight. Get the Large sizes will you? You like them big don't you?"

"Hey, don't make it sound that will cause misunderstandings."

"Hehehe, then I'll leave it to you~."

And the call was cut off...

"This mom sure sounds energetic. Was she normally like this?"

Renji quite not sure about his mom in this world normally was.

Renji searched for his memories about his mom in this world.

She was a beautiful and lovely lady that dotes on him and his older sister.

Though after the original Renji entered Middle School, he entered a rebellious phase and acted cold to her, she acts the same as always to him.

Renji sighed putting his phone back into his pocket.

"Guess I'll stop by the shopping district."

Bringing his backpack with him, he marched towards his destination.

He decided that he would act like a good son in apology for his previous self's rebellious phase.

Renji checked the time in his smartphone. The screen shows that it was still five in the afternoon.

All kinds of stores lined up in the shopping district.

Many of them were Izakaya bars where office workers go to drink beers after a long day of work. Or just some Yakiniku restaurants to folks who just wanted to eat meat.

Of course those shops doesn't concern Renji right now. He prioritized the task at hand; that is to buy a tray of Eggs.

Renji looked at the shops around.

After a few minutes of walking around he found the place where they sell market products, in other words a supermarket.

Entering the place he felt the cool air conditioned interior. An employee came to greet him at the same time.

"Let's see... Eggs..."

Searching for the item needed like in an RPG his eyes scrutinizing at each product.

"There it is. I think Mom said I should buy the Large size right?"

Renji looked over at a bunch of Eggs lined up.

He placed an entire tray on his shopping basket and then left to the cashier.

Just when he was lining up for his turn, a suddenly a loud voice drowned the supermarket's peaceful background music.

"Come on, hurry up. You have a line of people waiting on you!"

"I-Im very sorry!"

Apparently trouble is brewing in the register.

Renji noticed the one of the people in the line. It was a girl wearing the same school uniform as him.

She had a braided hairstyle with black hair. Her face looked quite timid, and with her large round brown colored eyes wearing eye glasses.

If she would be a character archetype on an anime, she completely fit the class president vibe based on her appearance alone.

"Well wait, she IS a class president of my class."

Renji just realized when he thought the girl looked really familiar. She was actually his classmate after all.

"Oh damn, I guess I'll have to help. It looks like she's really in deep trouble. What a pain."

Despite grumbling his ass off from the trouble, he still went and decided to offer some help.

I mean even for a little bit, Renji also dreamed of a hero saving a damsel in distress you know? It's just that he's not wearing any costumes and capes, or the damsel he's going to save is a beautiful heroine.

And so just right after he transmigrated, Renji marched on to save the day!
