CHAPTER 10

——A COUPLE WEAKS LATER—-

Placeing a log on top of a stump I took a breath in before I raised my axe high above my head and with a small grunt I slamed the axe head straight down the middle of the lifted small log.

I did this until I had around twenty all piled up on a weal barrel.

Stretching really quickly I bent down and started rolling the barrel full of logs towards the small cabin that sat warmly in the middle of the a small clearing.

As I slowly approached the cabin I couldn't help the small smile that greeted my face as I looked at my new home.

It was a small and humble little thing, if the Orokin were here I would have been mocked from Pluto all the way to the zariman but I couldn't care less.

Arriving at the side of the cabin I proceeded to stack most of the wood neatly against the wall while takeing a few for the fire place and thank the void because at that moment small snow flakes started to fall and I could tell it was going to last a while.

Walking around the house I quickly made sure to shake off all the snow I could before entering the cabin.

Smiling I walked over and placed the logs near the stone fireplace before makeing my way into the kitchen where the most wonderful smell greeted me.

Walking towards the corner of the kitchen I quickly washed out a mug and brought it towards a black machine and poured half of the divine liquid called coffee into my mug before walking back out side where a rocking chair waited for me to sit on it.

Looking at the snowfall I drank my coffee in silence as I let the early morning take away everything on my mind and just simply enjoyed my coffee.

As I looked out across the snow I swear I could see dark figures appearing through the snowfall but they were still by the tree line so I couldn't tell if it was a trick on my eyes or was it something else.

Thankfully I left my Azothane out side because the more I looked the more I realized that it was probably something else but I didn't do anything and just drank my coffee.

As the figures became more and more I saw that I was only about half way through.

Laughing softly I took another sip of my coffee before geting up and going back into the house were I washed out another mug and poured the rest of the coffee into both mugs.

Turning around and like a ghost a woman with red hair was siting down on my sofa looking directly at me.

"How would you like your coffee?" I asked as I looked at the intruder.

"Light." She replied but I couldn't help but look at her disgustedly.

"Sinner." I said as I pulled out some sugar and creamer.

"So why are you inside my humble abode?" I asked as I searched for the measuring spoons.

"You almost destroyed a whole state somthing like that doesn't get you left alone." She said as I gave her the mug.

" understandable but that still doesn't explain why your inside my house." I said as I welcomed some more coffee into my mouth.

"The leader of shield wants you to join the team hes makeing." She said as she too drank her coffee.

Placeing my mug on the table I sat back and looked the intruder "what's the purpose of that team and why should I join it? What's in it for me?" I asked as leaned back into my chair.

"You destroyed billions of dollars worth of buildings and I can't tell you the other reson but if you do join we can make this small cabin your instead of you just squatting here." She said and honestly I didn't see a reason to refuse but at the same time I wanted to sweeten up the pot.

"I will agree only to the conditions that you make me a resident of this world also I must have enough to by whatever I want and you will have no problems from me." I said as I picked up my coffee and began drinking it again but I made sure to wach the woman to see she if she would agree and to my surprise she agreed almost immediately after doing something with a tablet.

"Welcome to the adventures." She said as she placed her mug on the table and I placed mine down as well but I didn't follow her and instead started writing a note to hela so if she comes back she will know who I am with and where I will be.

"Who is that for?" The woman asked as I placed it underneath my mug.

"It's for my wife wean she gets back." I said as walked over to her.

"Wait was the person who you were fighting with your wife?" She asked as she opened the door.

"Yes but it's alright she say that lovers fight sometimes, like when who's deciding who is top or bottom or at least that's what she says." I said as I walked out and picked up my Azothane.

"That's a little to much information." She said as she started walking however she never took the lead and instead stayed behind me and I think I knew why.

"Here take it I don't know were the hell I am going." I said as I gave her the dame thing but my impatience was rewarded with airship almost materialized out of nowhere however the woman didn't say anything and just raised her eyebrow.

"My bad." I said as I entered the weird looking aircraft and took a seat.

"It's alright but here take this back, it's heavy." She said before handing it back to me but I didn't want to hold it either so I placed it beneath me.

Looking around I saw that all of them were busy so instead of conversing I decided to enter a state of meditation.

—— 3 weaks earlier—-

"Liv I need to call a truce with my father or he will come pick trouble with us." Hela said as I was makeing my morning coffee but her appearance was not in the beast state for that, her hair was all over the place and the robe she was wearing was barely on and showing a good amount of skin.

"I don't think that's a good idea with how you're dressed." I said as I took a drink of my coffee however she just rolled her eyes before handing a peace of paper to me.

"I am going to go get dressed but here's everything you need to know about what's going to happen in a couple weeks or days." She said as she started walking away.

Downing the rest of the coffee I put the mug into the sink before going to help her get dressed.

Walking into the room I gathered a larg portion of my void energy and gently wrapped my arm around her and pushed the energy into her as I did so.

"No fighting my future lays in your hands." I said as I gave her a soft kiss.

"I know I will be careful." She said before a green portal appeared and she stepped through leaveing me alone so with nothing else to do I started makeing myself some coffee.
