5 Chapter 5 Gamble

There weren't many things that he could do or wanted to change as it would mess up everything he knows about the future. Heck, what could he even do in those past 25 years if there is only a possibility that he could change the past.

Only the first wish had a 100 % chance of occurring. The other two were only possibilities.

Now moving onto the first chance. 20-25 years ago who were the people present let's see. I looked through the timeline for a while. There wasn't anyone who caught my attention other than Tsunade.

I could have changed Hiruzen's feelings of friendship towards Danzo to hate and removed Danzo from Konoha's equation. And almost did do it. But changed my decision after seeing the preview of what would happen. I was lucky that there was such an option. Because this guy and his Roots were the only main reason that Konoha could make it through the Third Shinobi War. Konoha was blessed with natural resources and all the other shinobi villages wanted the land for themselves.

One against four was impossible even for Konoha to withstand. They were against Sunagakure, Kirigakure, Iwagakure and Kumogakure. Danzo and his minions did most of the dirty work and turned the situation from Four on one battle to a battle royale giving Konoha a chance to breathe and giving them the upper hand. Danzo did most of Konoha's dirty work helping it out many times. So, the option was immediately removed.

There weren't any other major changes I could do. So, I left it as is and turned my attention towards Tsunade. I chose to change her feelings of love to friendship and went ahead with my choice.

Hence Tsunade never felt love towards the opposite gender. But it changed nothing. Dan became her best friend instead of lover and died in war causing Tsunade Hemophobia. She then took Dan's niece Shizune as her apprentice and left the village drowning herself in her sorrows.

With the first choice done I moved towards the second one. I wasted nearly an hour thinking about what to do with this. But finally decided to try and save Rin Nohara. If she could be saved, then I didn't have to worry about that crazed Obito.

So I tried to see what would happen. It went on like this. After Kakashi stabbed her heart the Three-Tails Isobu used most of his Chakra to save her and save himself.

After Rin survived due to Three-Tails Chakra, Isobu takes over her body and starts rampaging. Seeing that they could no longer use the Three-Tails to infiltrate and destroy Konoha from inside the Kiri Nin thought of recapturing it and caused a huge explosion to weaken it. They had sealed half of Three Tails Chakra in the Jinchuriki's body so that they could control It if their plans do go awry. They thought of releasing that seal when the Jinchiruki was inside a Konoha Camp or in the Village destroying Konoha. Now they could only abandon their plans and recapture it. Seeing what they were doing Obito saved Kakashi and moved away. He thought that the Three-Tails could survive their attacks.

But Three-Tails had used most of its Chakra in saving Rin. Sending Chakra through a Seal dissipated most of his Chakra and what was left of it couldn't help it in saving itself from the explosion. The other half of its Chakra reserves was sealed and he couldn't get access to it. So, Isobu died and Rin who was still alive was left in the crater. She then was killed by the Kiri Nin before Obito could reach her. Or Black Zetsu stabbed her in advance to make sure she was dead to get a good grip on Obito. Obito who saw Rin's dead body became crazy and slaughtered every Kiri Nin present.

I was thinking about what I could do as I was looking at the screen. It gave me an idea as I looked at my options again. If I could make the circumstances possible with my ability then would it be possible to get her back like said in my third chance?

I thought of what I wanted to do in my head and the screen prompted me to describe how it would go. So, I thought of how it would go.

After the explosion I made Rin's body make Isobu's Chakra her Chakra and had her enter a sealed underground Uzumaki base which no one could sense and had her body be there. Even if she couldn't wake up Isobu's left out Chakra would sustain her for a few decades.

So I went ahead with it. When I asked for the Preview it said that it wasn't possible as the user had used his ability in the second chance instead of Third so it wasn't available.

Then It showed another message saying 'As the Time is more than ten years ago there is only a possibility of saving the person. Would you like to continue?'

It was surely trying to trick me. In the preview it had previously shown me Rin definitely lived past the explosion and only died after Zetsu or Kiri Nin killed her. She would certainly be alive and I was sure of it. I was taking a gamble.

I agreed and noted the position where Rin and the sealed base were. Moving to the Final one I had many choices but choosing any of them was the same and it wouldn't have any impact on the future.

I could save Minato or Kushina but as I had already used my ability, I couldn't save any one of them because Nine Tails directly killed them.

I could also try to save the Uchiha's but they were already a lost cause. Even If I did save them I could only save a single person and Danzo would use all his means to remove that Variable.

I didn't know what to do. So, I moved my finger randomly and pointed it at the screen. What appeared in front of me was Akatsuki showing Nagato, Yahiko and Konan.

Since I pointed at it I decided to save Yahiko. Yahiko who stabbed himself in the gut was still alive but paralyzed and couldn't move anymore. He was like a living corpse. Konan took care of Yahiko and Nagato took both of them and started Akatsuki again and ruled Ame from the Shadows.

Obito who saw that Yahiko was still alive was a bit disappointed but decided to let him live as he couldn't hinder his plans anymore.

After finishing my choices I was kicked out of the white space and couldn't enter it again. It was already night time so I ate dinner and went to bed.

After doing my morning training and eating my breakfast I went around the town looking for a caravan going towards Iwa. Lucky for me I found one and after reaching near my destination I left them after paying them their money.

I bought a shovel and some weapons with me to protect myself. After digging for nearly four to five hours I finally found the entrance and entered the sealed space.

It's creepy inside the place. It was covered in seals all over and full of black markings. After ten minutes of searching, I finally found Rin. She looked fully grown and her hair reached Knee length. Her body was fully developed and she certainly looked beautiful.

But before I could compliment her any further. I went and checked whether she was alive or not. Luckily my gamble had paid off and she was indeed alive. Before I could do anything else a nauseating stench hit me. And it was coming from her.

Let's leave aside his traumatic experience of him bringing her back.

All the food that was in my stomach was threatening to come out that was what he felt. I found a women worker and had her clean Rin thoroughly and change her dress as I went out for the doctor.

He checked her and said that she was in a Coma induced due to loss of food and sustaining herself on Chakra for a long period. After giving the required treatment and medicine he left. She would wake up in a few days at the latest.

I was left with her and had to take care of her until she woke up. My days passed as I hired a woman to take care of her every morning until she woke up and devoted myself to training.

It finally happened after a lot of waiting she finally woke up.

"Onee Chan are you alright?" I asked her

She just looked at me and around in confusion.

"Do you remember your name? Are you feeling uncomfortable?" I asked her. She was deep in thought and clutched her head in pain and fell unconscious.

Seeing this I went to get the doctor and had him examine her. He said that he could only tell what happened after she woke again. So I had to wait again.
