Ma Meiying closed the door behind her and looked up to the night sky. The air was humid and her chest felt stifled for some reasons she couldn't pinpoint. She walked across the small courtyard to sit under the cover of the tree where there was a set of table and chairs. Pouring a cup of cold tea, she sipped it a bit and put it back down. Her eyes half lidded as she suddenly said toward the empty space, "Why don't you come down? Isn't it tiring to stand on the roof?"

Silence followed for a while and then, as she poured tea into the second cup and put it into the seat opposite her, a shadow descended down from the roof, walking toward her soundlessly.

But Ma Meiying didn't even turn her back. "It's such a good night for wine, isn't it, Gentleman Feng? It's a pity that I don't have any wine here so you have to make do with tea."
