And the moment Adriel stepped foot on the 91st celestial step a new message popped up.

Adriel was a little bit surprised by how generous the rewards were but he wasn't in a hurry to check more info about it yet, instead, he turned his attention to his surroundings and began observing the 91st celestial steps

It looked as unremarkable on the inside as it looked outside when Adriel first saw it at the feet of the nine celestial beast stairways.

The whole place was almost empty unlike the other celestial steps with at least a thousand beasts present, secondly, it was devoid of light or any display of elegance like the other celestial steps.

Amid the endless darkness, Adriel saw a strange turquoise blue floating high up in the air, its appearance was a bit shapeless like an amoeba from the earth, it's whole body was made of pure energy and looked like transparent turquoise blue goo moving unsteadily in the void with strange random movements it looked somewhat impossible to tell the next direction it goes next.

Apart from that, the strange creature didn't emit any aura at all like a ghost, Adriel felt like if not that he was directly watching it he wouldn't have felt its presence.

But Adriel could tell that the strange creature already noticed his presence because halted its irregular movement and slowly floated towards Adriel, but he stop when it was several feet away, Adriel could feel that it was attracted to the golden mysterious energy around him but was too cautious to come close and feel it but it was obvious it wanted it badly, it looked like a shy kid afraid to ask for candy.

Adriel smiled at it, he found its behavior rather cute but he was curious about what made the creature special than all the super terrifying beasts he met on his way here.

After a moment of silence, Adriel stretched out his hands towards the strange creature and said with a charming smile on his face: "hi little guy, I'm Adriel it's a pleasure to meet you"

'Ziz yii yii"

The turquoise blue creature made strange sounds that were directly transmitted into Adriels mind as it shrank back a bit in fear, feeling Adriels hand reaching out towards it and its already small body shrunk more into the size of a football.

Although it didn't have eyes, ears, or nose it was very alert and had ways to observe its surroundings such as feeling a disturbance in spiritual energy around it.

So immediately after Adriel arrived on the 91st celestial step, it felt his presence, it became afraid and curious when he saw Adriel, after all this was its first contact with another being since it became aware of anything.

'I'm I that scary ' Adriel thought before speaking up again

"Don't be afraid little guy, I'm not going to hurt you, you like this don't you? Here, you can touch it" Adriel whispered as he willfully directed the little mysterious energy he could control towards its outstretched hand forming formed a small cloud made of golden energy.

"Zzzziz zi yi yii"

The turquoise blue creature craved for the golden energy even more as it saw it concentrating on Adriels hand, it felt like its whole existence was screaming and wanted to bath in that golden energy so bad.

It thought for a moment then it gave in to his urges, it stopped hesitating and slowly flew towards and landed on Adriel's hand that was currently shimmering with a golden peculiar light.

"Seems the mysterious energy is only attractive to beasts with space to grow " Adriel nodded silently as he watched the strange goo dancing on the sea of mysterious energy.

"Huh, that's fast?" Adriel's face suddenly revealed shock by what was happening, he actually felt the strange goo was rapidly refining the mysterious energy and in return, it released a faint pure white light that began healing Adriel's soul body.

Adriel was elated and happiness filled his chest, its ability had a similar effect to the low-grade divine soul-nourishing light although it was several times weaker, it was something.

Adriel was wondering how he could improve his soul strength after what he experienced on the 90th celestial step but with this ability, he could resume his near-death soul tempering method.

At the same time, a new list of beast information appeared in His mind.

No matter how he looked this guy didn't look special, it just look like a gumball mage of energy.

The choas wisp body shook slightly in response ans sent another voice message as if confirming how awesome it was.
