1 One: Sakura's golden finger

In a humble apartment building not too far from the Ninja Academy, a pink haired girl stared at the mirror in confusion. Just a few moments ago, she was talking with her friend in high school when all of sudden her phone began beeping like crazy.

After she looked at it and saw that it was a bunch of notifications from a Naruto game she was playing, she lost her interest and put it back on her pockets.

Unfortunately, something should have happened at that time, the moment she put down the phone, a hole opened beneath her and she fell while screaming.

Her friends could only watch in astonishment and despair as all of that happened. Before they knew it, the hole had closed and she was still falling.

After losing consciousness and awakening, she suddenly found herself here, in the body of a girl she knew very well!

"Damn! No way! Am I dreaming?"

The pink haired girl gulped as she pinched her cheeks to make sure it wasn't a dream.

Feeling the pain in the slightly swollen area she pinched, reality came crashing down and knocked her to her knees.

No way! No way! Am I going to die?! But I'm so pretty! How can God do something so evil to a girl like me!

As tears began glistening down her face, a beep sounded in her mind followed by a bunch of information.

Stunned, she digested all the information and began walking back and forth inside her room as if considering something.

Looking at the clock on the wall, she gritted her teeth unwillingly and went down the stairs.

"Good morning, Sakura! Excited about today's test?"

In the kitchen, a commanding female voice reached her ears. That woman with a unconventional hairstyle reminiscing of the Bosozoku was none other than her mother, Haruno Mebuki.

"Ah? Me? I mean, of course! I will finally become a Kunoichi!" A weird and unnatural smile adorned Sakura's face.

A look of understanding flashed in Mebuki's eyes as she snorted slightly.

"Sakura, don't keep thinking about boys all day long, being a ninja is very dangerous, you need to focus on getting stronger first." Mebuki lectured as she turned around to finish making the breakfast.

"Oh! Y-yes, you're totally right mother!" Secretly sighing in relief, Sakura decided to stick with this misunderstanding in order to avoid more trouble.

Although she had Sakura's memories, it wasn't easy to pretend to be her. What if she made a mistake? What if her mother suspected her of being someone else? In this world full of ninjas, who can say for certain that the person in front of you isn't a spy from another major village?

But seeing how she didn't suspect anything, Sakura lowered her guard a bit and became more confident.

"Here is your lunch, don't get late for school!"

Holding the lunchbox in her hands, Sakura was stunned.

"This, is this for me?"

"Of course silly, who else would it be for?" Mebuki rolled her eyes and continued cooking hers and her husband's breakfast.

Although she said it so naturally, Sakura felt a pang in her heart as certain memories began to resurface.

"T-thanks."

With shaking hands, she took the lunchbox and left.

Taking a deep breath and smelling the fresh air, Sakura couldn't help but smile slightly.

Of course, how could she forget? This isn't like her homeland full of air pollution.

The smell of fresh air and the refreshing sight of the small village made her curious and excited.

The hidden leaf village was the strongest as well the most prosperous ninja village in the continent. The colorful village full of red, green and blue ceilings plus the many inhabitants made it a delight to the eyes.

"This place is so beautiful!" Looking at it through the anime and manga doesn't let you fully appreciate it's beauty. Although things took a turn for the bad, especially under Nidaime's reign and his inheritors, it still wasn't enough to erase the sentiment that the hidden leaf created of unity.

Staring at the people of the various clans and the many civilians on the way, you could get a small grasp of how amazing it was.

To think that they went from the warring states era to this... It's really surprising.

Thinking of the history of this village, she couldn't help but feel that it really matched the alliance between the Senju and the Uchiha. It's just a pity... At the end both of them were erased, one by excessive mixing with the rest of the village, the other under the darkness of the village itself.

"Would you have accepted this result if you were still alive?" Sakura pondered what would be the reaction of the Shodai if he was given the chance to witness how his legacy evolved.

"Oh, isn't this the billboard?" Suddenly hearing a voice that subconsciously filled her heart with annoyance, she turned around and saw a girl about the same age as hers.

----

Following the path in her memories, the somewhat unstable Sakura finally got at the academy.

By her side was a blond girl.

"Honestly, you're looking very different today. How come you never dressed like that? Also, since when do you tie your hair like this? Did you eat something wrong, Sakura?"

Frowning, Sakura held herself from punching Ino in the face.

"For fuck's sake Ino, why don't you go and see if I'm on the other side of the street!?"

"Humph, now that's more like the Sakura I know, and here I was thinking that the springboard had been turned into someone else."

"Shut up, Pig!"

"Flat table!"

As the two fought on the way, they finally arrived at the classroom.

Staring at the iconic location, Sakura secretly had stars in her eyes.

So this is where the maincast used to study?

Looking at the bunch of students already on their chairs and talking about everyday topics, Sakura felt a rush of excitement in her heart.

Looking around, she managed to spot the two guys who basically represented the franchise.

The edgelord Sasuke and the incarnation of sunny naivety, Uzumaki Naruto.

Sighing at their sight, she finally accepted the fact that this was all real.

She was really in the world of Naruto, and only God knew what the future held for her.

While Sakura looked for a place to sit, the girls in the classroom all arrived at the same time and flocked towards the aisle where both Naruto and Sasuke were at.

"Hehe, today, I will definitely sit by Sasuke's side, good luck to you, Forehead!"

Hearing Ino's words, Sakura shrugged and ignored her.

This attention seeking bitch would only keep pestering her if she responded to her antics, rather than dropping to her level, she would be the mature one and take care of her own life.

Before long, a commotion broke out in the classroom.

"Aghhh! Ahhhh! Put me down! Damn it! Do you dare fight with me!?" Naruto screamed on top of his lungs as the girls tossed him back and forth while trying to squeeze onto the aisle to sit next to Sasuke.

"Naruto, you useless guy, who gave you to courage to sit next to our idol? Move out of the way!"

One angry girl shouted as she kicked him on the face, launching Naruto into the air.

"Gaaaahhhh!" Naruto summersaulted above the classroom, and almost hit the ceiling. Stumbling in the air, he spun and fell down directly on Sakura's table.

"N-naruto..." Seeing all of this, Hinata, a girl three rows below, couldn't help but worry for his health.

Not only her, even Sakura was secretly scared of what she had just seen.

'What the fuck!? Am I seeing things?' Damn they are so fierce! She would never have the courage to pursue someone like that in her previous life!

Also, aren't those girls too violent? Shuddering, she looked at Naruto worriedly! Shit, hopefully he didn't break any bones, it would be to unlucky if this happened right on my first day here.

The girls in this world are too precocious. Do they only have dating in their minds?

As she secretly shook her head in disapproval, she finally gave a close look towards the blond guy in front of her.

He had a wild atmosphere about him, like a stray dog full of energy. With his spiked blond hair and blue eyes, he was actually pretty handsome. At least, much more than the likes of Inuzuka Kiba and the bug addict Aburame Shino.

Suddenly, Naruto opened his eyes and stared at Sakura with his characteristic sheepish smile.

"Hehe, good morning, Sakura-chan! I see there's an unused seat here, can you let me in?"

Faced with his apologetic and flustered request, something inside her felt disgusted and amazed at the same time. She thought for a moment and realized it was something she inherited from the memories of the original Sakura.

Had it been her, she would have refused right then and there, but she wasn't her, only someone who just happened to inherit her memories so she didn't have any rejection towards him.

Still, she had a new understanding of the physique of a Shinobi. Or was it because he was an Uzumaki and the nine tails Jinchuriki at the same time? In any case, he really did survive a four meters fall like it was nothing.

"Alright, but if you keep bothering me, I'll kick you out of the classroom, be sure to remember that!"

Faced with my warning, instead of complaining, Naruto actually smiled and blushed slightly. To her surprise, he even looked a little excited. Is this the legendary Simp King?

"Uahaha! Thank you, Sakura-chan!"

Hopping down from the table, he sat down on the chair to her left and immediately got closer, standing just a foot away from her.

Although it looked like he was taking advantage of her, she didn't mind. To be honest, she was actually a bit interested in him. Not in the romantic way, of course. She was just curious, what's the protagonist of the anime like in real life? Also, is his story the same as the one in the anime? What if this is an alternative timeline?

That said, he was in fact her first crush in her previous life. After growing up watching him going from a kid to a responsible man who went through any lengths for the girl he loved, she became very fond of him and deeply despised Sakura.

Finally, she ignored Naruto and his antics and began revising the content of the academy while waiting for Iruka-sensei to arrive.

Not long after she finished reading a chapter about chakra on the standard book, she felt a strange feeling in her head.

At that moment, she felt like her mastery of Chakra had increased by a lot, almost as if she had revised that point many times, the knowledge was also easily fixated in her mind.

Stunned, she opened the book on the first page and began revising from start to finish.

Having read the content before in her memories, she could easily skip most of it by focusing on the core of the knowledge in it.

Ten minutes later, the feeling appeared again, but this time, it revolved around Ninja's theoretical subjects.

At that time, her knowledge about a variety of topics became as clear as day. From common things like math, geography and history, to more complex subjects like chakra, taijutsu, shurikenjutsu, so on and so forth.

Even her mastery of the three body ninjutsu was improved slightly.

Surprisingly this also led her to notice something instantly, it seems that in this world there's no substitution technique?

Instead of the substitution technique, what is taught at the academy is the clone, transformation and body flicker technique.

That said, what she really wanted to understand was... What exactly is her golden finger?

No matter how she tried, no system interface popped up and there wasn't any explanation of her ability. Instead, she just felt like the rewards of the effort she put into reading the book was multiplied. In her mind, she could vaguely tell that it was around ten times.

Is it a training system?
