Chapter Five: Not Just Ordinary Wealth

He didn't pay much attention to the middle-aged woman's provocation and interference.

He simply took the key card prepared by the doorman and opened the door directly.

As he walked in, Qin Hong's voice sounded familiar. He turned his head to see Qin Hong standing beside Qin Xiaoyu, and they were both looking at him. However, Qin Hong's expression was filled with disdain and disbelief.

"Haha, you are quick to come here. What, did you buy a house in this neighborhood too?"

Her tone was mocking, clearly implying that she didn't believe that someone like him could afford to live in such a high-end area.

Ignoring the mocking tone, Chu Ping replied calmly, "Yes, I did. And I didn't just buy any house, I bought the most expensive one in this building."

Qin Hong raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. "The most expensive one? Don't make me laugh. You probably just managed to scrape up enough money to get a tiny unit in this building."

Chu Ping smiled mysteriously, and without saying anything more, he walked past them and headed towards the elevator. He could feel Qin Hong's eyes on his back, but he didn't let it bother him.

Indeed, it was a luxurious duplex suite on a single floor.

Seeing the unit number 808, Chu Ping didn't waste any words. He approached, picked up the key, and gently turned it.

The door emitted a soft click, leaving Qin Hong's mother with a bewildered expression.

Chu Ping simply opened the door and walked in.

The suite spanned two floors, with a mezzanine that connected the upper and lower levels. In total, it occupied almost five hundred square meters.

Large French windows offered a wide view of the city. One could easily see the entire cityscape at a glance.

It was indeed a remarkable place.

Even Qin Hong's face changed color upon seeing the luxurious interior. Her expression shifted from shock to disbelief and then to embarrassment.

"This... This duplex suite is worth at least twenty million. It's much larger and more valuable than the units our Qin family owns."

She stammered, her face turning red like a monkey's behind.

Chu Ping was quite satisfied with the property.

Finding something like this for free was incredibly fortunate!

"Is this... Did you really buy this?" Qin Xiaoyu's mother still couldn't believe it. The value of this duplex surpassed any owned by the Qin family. Could it really be possible that a regular person, not a wealthy heir, had bought it?

The reality, however, was right in front of them.

Chu Ping turned his head, maintaining a calm expression as he replied confidently, "Indeed, this is my home. If there's nothing else, you can leave."

He didn't want to waste any more time on unnecessary discussions.

Qin Hong stammered and hesitated, her facial expressions changing rapidly as she looked at Chu Ping.

Finally, she couldn't hold back her laughter and smiled at Chu Ping, saying, "Nephew, did you buy this house outright? How much did you spend? With such a large property and prime location, I assume it must have cost more than twenty million, right?"

Chu Ping had already checked the property documents and calmly replied, "I paid the full amount, 22 million."

Qin Hong's eyes widened in disbelief. The Qin family couldn't possibly come up with such a sum to buy the property outright. This young man had been hiding his true wealth.

"Haha, Xiaoyu, you and he are friends, right? You should get along well in the future. Nephew, I apologize for my earlier behavior."

"Oh, I mistook you for one of Xiaoyu's pursuers. I didn't expect to be so wrong. I'm really sorry. We'll be neighbors from now on, and we're not far apart. Let's interact more."

She switched her attitude so quickly, trying to please them. It was a stark transformation that caught Chu Ping off guard.

It seemed that having money really changed things.

Outside the residential building, Chu Ping received a call from the Ferrari dealership. The paperwork for his Ferrari had been completed, and even the license plate was ready.

Chu Ping asked them to deliver the car to his location immediately.

Within ten minutes, a brand-new Ferrari arrived in front of Chu Ping.

This sight filled Qin Xiaoyu's mother, Qin Hong, with excitement and astonishment.

"This... This is a Ferrari, and it's the latest model. It must cost several million at the very least. Xiaoyu, how come you've never mentioned anything about your classmate being so wealthy?"

Qin Xiaoyu discreetly glanced at Chu Ping, clearly puzzled by his sudden display of wealth.

With a tilt of her head, she wore an expression of curiosity.

But at this moment, Qin Hong's eyes lit up as she watched Chu Ping decide where to go.

She gave Qin Xiaoyu a meaningful look and said directly, "Xiaoyu, you and he are classmates. You should get closer to him, even if it's for the sake of our Qin family."

"Do you understand that you must establish a good relationship with him?"

Facing her mother's insistence, Qin Xiaoyu couldn't help but feel a bit helpless. As a member of the Qin family, she often found herself in numerous dilemmas.

Observing Chu Ping in front of her, she walked over directly and asked, "Where do you want to go?"

Chu Ping looked up at Qin Xiaoyu and calmly replied, "I want to go to the northern district."

"The northern district? What are you going to do there?"

"I think I have a piece of land there. I want to go take a look."

Qin Xiaoyu was surprised and taken aback by Chu Ping's words.

Qin Hong, who was not far away, couldn't contain her curiosity and walked up with a smile, saying, "We also have many business dealings in the northern district. Our family is quite familiar with that area."

"Xiaoyu, why don't you take your classmate there to see?"

Qin Xiaoyu's personality was gentle and accommodating.

Chu Ping looked at Qin Xiaoyu and realized he wasn't familiar with the northern district and had no idea what the land was like. Having Qin Xiaoyu accompany him wouldn't be a bad idea.

He nodded in agreement.

With Qin Xiaoyu in tow, they headed towards the northern district.

Driving the newly bought Ferrari, Chu Ping finally understood the true meaning of exhilaration. The speed of the luxury car combined with the comfort it offered was an incredible feeling.

No wonder people said that driving a Ferrari single-handedly was cool!

The car's sleek design turned heads wherever it went. Along the way, Chu Ping attracted a lot of attention with the Ferrari, and even Qin Xiaoyu was lost in thought as she looked at the transformed Chu Ping.
