"Here are the coffees." Philipa announced. "Six cups of Rose's cappuccino special, and a box of canales and muffins."

Lina observed the take out pacts and then the smile on Philipa's face. "You're feeling special, right?"

"Well, it's not everyday you get minister's and senator's wives drink your coffee on special request."

Of course, it wasn't. She could see the proud smile on her face. The woman was clearly over the moon.

"And as the messenger, don't I also get a cup?"

"Of course, you do." Philipa quickly placed a coffee in front of her. "This is for you."

Lina had not expected it. She had only said that for fun. "Thank you." She smiled. Slightly. It had been difficult doing so all day, especially after having no rest after the party and her talk with Pete last night.

"Don't thank me. Thank Melissa. She's got me so pumped, I can't wait for the new shop to be open."
