Alexa stared, perplexed, at what Christopher was talking about. Something dead and buried? She mused. 

By chance, was he talking about a person? Was he—

"Do not ask me anymore than I'm willing to say, because from the swirling in your eyes, I can tell you're about to."

Alexa blinked, flustered by his prediction. Her lashes flitted with guilt. "I—wasn't going to ask anything." She denied.

Watching the silly and guilty dart in her eyes, Christopher wryly scoffed. "I've forgotten how much of a liar you can be."

A liar? 

Alexa quickly scowled at him. "I'm not a liar." She protested, her eyes almost glaring. "When have I ever told you a lie?" She tipped her chin at him.
