27 Meeting!

Raaz stored the two Energy Chambers he got from Seth Cabin in a special suitcase. It stopped the energy from leaking and glowing.

Then he checked the other players in their cabins and found some of them seemed abnormal but the rest were fine.

'It's better for this boy to have a Bronze Cabin!' Raaz thoughts.

But he can't help Seth in that regard. All his moves were watched and the moment he showed a preference, higher-ups will begin investigating the reason.

As Raaz stood by the side of Seth's cabin he glanced at Joseph who was standing beside him.

He did all he did under the watch of Joseph but not once did he ask a thing.

"You are a smart guy!?" Raaz asked.

Joseph only stared at him without answering the statement.

"Omit the anomaly in your narration!" Saying that Raaz moved to check out Anna.

'The anomaly? Okay, the part where he took two glowing devices and he installed an A-Rank solution, right?' Joseph tried to reason.

In a few minutes, Sarah was back and she almost freaked out.

The reason was when she glanced through the glass of the Cabin she found Seth's emaciated body and the only saving grace was that he was breathing normally.

It took Joseph some effort to calm her down. And when Anna woke up she appeared to understand what happened. She too had fought with Crodo and sustained injury.

And what made them worry was that the duration of the game had increased, and when they checked the game website, there was an announcement saying it would extend due to the world Quest!

Sarah demanded Seth be woken up but was told that will cause him more damage.

At 9 hours after the game dive, Seth's eyes opened and that automatically made the cabin open. He was hurriedly gotten out and placed on a mattress. In quick action, he was administered IV and other medication. Seth's body looked like someone that spent months without food.

Seth was conscious but he was too disoriented to understand his surroundings.

But then he forced his head to turn to where Raaz was standing and his eyes were wide open but they were still unfocused.

'Did he feel it!' Raaz was paranoid.

Joseph too traced Seth's line of sight and found he was looking at Raaz's suitcase.

'What is going on!?" He wondered!

"This game has changed entirely. The class we invented has all been changed to something else—and the bad news was that Rebels and groups alike have anticipated that and have planned!"

A pale-looking doctor explained in a meeting of four heads of the Ark Family. Bello in particular was busy checking the report trying to see if there was any information he missed.

"Did we know the classes? And how the hell did the Rebel know about it!" A very old man shouted.

Bala Ark was sweating bullets but he composed himself as he nudged his brother to answer.

"Apparently there are five classes and the best of them was the one that first manifested itself. We still don't know what it does but we know it's weird. It's called Temporal Warrior." He said as he read some message on his tablet before he looked up and added,

"It's a Class Category, which means it has many classes under it. Since this was the beginning we need to wait and see. As for Rebels, they seem to be looking for First Might. What it does is still unknown but, they failed to obtain it!" Bello explained.

"What about the other classes?" The old man asked.

"Ahm, it's related to Dragons, and something else. But we are still searching. We will have all the information in 24 hours!"  Bello was going to continue browsing when he felt a chill down his spine due to the glare of the old man

He quickly continues explaining, "Rabel seems to have sacrificed some of their people and made them NPC-and before the AI forcefully overrides them they gathered a lot of information. One of my sources believed that some NPCs are still not being overridden by the Game AI!" He sighed and continued,

"We will have done the same but you know the AI is no longer messing around. It will reboot the game and destroy everything if we try anything!"

"That's what happens when we give it too much independence! Still, that is for the better. How many Tem… whatever... do we have and how many others have!" The old man asked.

"We have nine…" Bello said

"Nine, in all that trouble, only nine. Explain yourself!" The old man stood furiously.

If Temporal Warrior is the best Class Category then how will they have so little? One has to know that they have more than 2 million people in the game that are working for them. And nine in all of that!

"Ancestor… Rebels only have 16. And they knew about it beforehand. Apart from them—all the other groups have less than us! And in the entire game, there are no more than five hundred thousand Temporal Warriors-and that was 3.2 billion people that participated in the first Asteroid Quest!"

The old man calmed down. It was understanding if it's that pitiful.

"No investigation of the public should be allowed. I give you full authority to crush anyone who wants to fish out those Tempos!" The old man said.

They were shocked because it was believed that the Temporal Warrior's cabin can convert Beta Energy to Terran Energy—and this meeting was staged to ask for permission to start searching for the lucky players.

Yet now, he said they should not just protect them but deter anyone from looking for them.

"Ancestor we…."

"My decision is final. You are too green to realise how this world revolves. These few hundred thousand might be the will of heaven for them to be the world's anchor. Another thing was, the moment we make a move, all others will. As the Progenitor of this Tech, we should support and try to be impartial." He said with his eyes closed and then...

"We might have dominated everyone, but make no mistake if you think we are the True Overlords of this World. Allowing small factions to grow will keep all others busy while we seek our ultimate goal."

With a painful voice he added," Besides, the AI was the fusion of many of our people's consciousness. Their actions have meaning. They didn't just divide the Continents but made an elaborate arrangement that refused to give us an advantage! Except for the one we made ourselves, that should tell you something!"

The old man sighed and said, "These things are grander than we can imagine."
