69 Chapter 31.3 : Eye

As Diana jumped right into the endless sea of monsters, she then grabbed hold of one of the monsters and used it as a makeshift floor in this sea.

A moment after that, Diana suddenly jumped.

In an instant, huge waves of monsters, several hundred meter tall, began forming around the place that Diana jumped from, as that very spot instantly sunk over a kilometer into the sea.

At the same time, Diana, alongside Tempo Symphony, which had appeared next to her at an unknown point in time flew through the 'air' of the dimension that she had arrived inside, towards the enormous stationary eye in the sky.

Right now, the maddened Diana seemed to have no sense of self-preservation, and simply jumped towards the eye, uncaring about the consequences of her actions.

Only a few moments after Diana jumped, a tentacle suddenly appeared in front of her, at a speed far beyond that of anything she had ever faced, other than the previous tentacle of course, and smashed towards her with immense power.

A mere moment before the attack of the tentacle landed on her, Diana, as well as Tempo Symphony, disappeared without any sort of trace, reappearing the very moment the tentacle attack passed by her.

But even though the attack of the tentacle had missed Diana, this did not mean that Diana was done with.

In fact, the opposite was true, as Diana, who was currently beyond any sort of reason, smashed her leg into the tentacle, using it to gain additional speed, both from simply, both simply using her leg, and using the power of her stand to speed herself up upon impact.

Similarly, the eye in the sky did not seem to be done with Diana as well, causing several other tentacles to appear and attack Diana in quick succession.

Upon noticing the several tentacles around her, which were just about to attack her at different times, trying to obstruct her use of her ability to disappear, Diana couldn't help but suddenly regain her senses.

In an instant, hundreds of attacks suddenly landed on the tentacles, allowing Diana to nearly instantly bring herself up to her full speed.

Unlike the first tentacle, which had taken her by surprise and forced her to use the ability her stand gained when she had obtained the Red Stone of Aja, these new tentacles were not anything difficult to deal with for Diana.

Causing the look in the huge eye above her to subtly change.

...

Fifteen days later,

As it looked at the tiny bug beneath it, which was flying towards it, having not yet given up after over fifteen days, ***** began feeling quite annoyed.

Originally, ****** planned to conduct some contracts to gain some extra revenue.

Overall, the several million contracts that ****** had established were a definite success, allowing it to gain a few trillion souls for no effort, as most beings were pathetically weak compared to it.

Sadly though, one of the targets of this contract spree of it's, a little bug, actually managed to survive after all the other targets had been killed, causing ****** to become slightly interested and send a tentacle of it's after it.

Beyond all expectations though, this bug actually managed to wound one of ******'s minor tentacles, causing ****** to partially descend, desiring to destroy the bug as soon as possible and get on with things.

Once again, beyond all expectations, this bug actually managed to destroy ******'s incarnation, opening a hole to this dimension, which ****** promptly closed.

But even though this was the case, the annoying bug had managed to get in, and no matter how much ****** tried, it could not swat it away, causing ****** to become even more annoyed.

****** had even tried attacking the mind of the bug, but even so, this damn thing seemed to already be completely insane, and as such, ******'s spiritual attacks seemed to not be able to accomplish much at all.

In fact, ****** could clearly see that the bug was becoming stronger at a very fast speed.

As it now stared at the bug, which was still flying towards it while occasionally laughing maniacally, for the first time, ****** could not help but become regretful that it had given up it's true physical body to become the overseer of this particular Brood Sea.

If ****** still had its physical body, destroying this annoying bug would have been a breeze, but now, this originally easy thing had become extremely difficult for ******, who was actually quite defenceless in its current state.

Although if it wished, ****** could create a new physical body for itself, and abandon this task that it had been assigned to do, ****** knew much better than abandoning a task that was given to it by one of the Old Ones, as well as where such insolence would lead it.

No matter what, even if it were killed, ****** could never abandon this task.

...

Fifteen days later,

Unaware of the difficulties of the monster that she was currently chasing after, Diana was simply staring into the pupil of the enormous eye above her, which covered Diana's entire sky.

After thirty days, Diana had finished 99 percent of her journey, as such, she only had a tiny bit of traveling to do before reaching her destination.

In fact, Diana's location was not the only thing that had changed in these past 30 days, as both her physical, and her mental state was very much changed compared to before.

Although the effects of the mental attacks that this monster had sent out against her were still there, after around a week, Diana finally regained her clarity, as after so much exposure to this incomprehensible monster, Diana had actually begun becoming resistant to it.

In truth, this process began back on earth, as Diana had already begun adapting to the monsters, even back there.

At the same time, a small physical change had taken place within Diana, as her body was constantly being destroyed by the attacks of the tentacles before being regenerated.

A small bump, which had now grown quite a bit, had emerged on Diana's forehead.

A moment later, Diana suddenly broke out of her thoughts, as she finally reached her destination.
