In a crowded city one young man was walking
"no no no I'm gonna be late! I had everything planned out, I was going to go home and binge watch Danmachi while eating some snacks like any other otaku after the movies, but Josh just had to stop and flirt with that girl." -Exclaimed Arthur
While on the way home he stumbled upon a phone laying on the ground, seemingly like it was just there waiting for someone to pick it up. On the screen the words " survey " laid upon it.
"What's with this phone on the ground" -said Arthur as he picked it up
"No matter, I'll just take it and call to give it back to the owner when I get home"- said Arthur
Approximately 15 minutes later did Arthur get home, he opened the door than closed it and went to turn on his monitor and than started to watch Danmachi. While he was watching he noticed that the phone never turned off and was still on displaying the never changing words " Survey" on its white screen
"The hells wrong with this phone?"- asked Arthur aloud to no one as he picked it up and read what was on the screen
"Survey? Well might as well take it, the owner would have called by now if he wanted it back, so since he dint, it's gonna be mine now after all the saying goes way back, finders keepers loosers weepers"- Said Arthur
As he presses the screen, it changed to another white screen but this time there was a question at the top and a rectangle at the bottom, where it seemed he had to put his answer there

" More than anything? I wish to be strong, I wish to be recognized" -said Arthur after all he was just an otaku, an utterly weak one at that

"Where? Since I just finished binge watching Danmachi I'll go there" said Arthur as he wrote down his answer

" I would definitely pick Escanor. When I first saw him I immediately liked him, his demeanor and his pride just brought the character to life, especially in his first fight we saw him in against Galand, he had me on the edge of my seat."- Said Arthur reminiscing about that time with a happy smile on his face
4.[ Final question, other than a template system with Escanor already at a 100% as the starting gift, what else would you like?]-Asked the system
" What else?, well not much to be honest, maybe just add a shop function for other skills and abilities, maybe a traversal option to go to other worlds and just a screen so I can always see my status." -Said Arthur as he finished writing down his answer
[ Very well, thank you for thanking the survey and enjoy the adventure]- Were the words that appeared on the phone screen
" Well that was fun, certainly distracted me enough to take my boredom away, not sure what it means by enjoy my adventure but I think I'm going to go sleep right now, this whole day has been tiresom"- Said Arthur as he went to laid down on his bed and fell asleep eventually
What he dint noticed is that when he fell asleep the phone turned on and started emitting a light so bright it illuminated his whole room, while he seemed unaffected by such light and just kept sleeping comfortably
* 7 hours later*
" Yawnnn! That was one of the best sleeps I've had in a while"- grumbled Arthur as he was waking up
As our MC found himself waking up, he got up from his bed and started walking towards the bathroom except when he went tried to open the door, he found that there was no door, which managed to make him fully awake and aware and he started looking around when he found himself in an unfamiliar place
"What the hell is this place, where the fuck am I?" - stated Arthur looking around and all he could see was the vast forest he was currently on
As he asked that question a screen appeared in front of him, with a message written on it which he began to read
[ Hello Arthur, it's your gracious and benevolent ROB here, thanks for taking my survey, it seemed like no one would take the phone laying down on the streets, I was beginning to think no one would take it and was going to switch methods, that is until you appeared and took it. Well anyways *cough* enough sidetracking, as per the survey answers you provided, I sent you to Danmachi and gave you the template system with the shop and traverse options and last the status window you asked for , as well as the Escanor template already at a 100% completion. As Arthur pressed [Yes] information on how to use the skills appeared on his mind and he instinctively knew how to use them, as for the map skill it instantly appeared on the top right of his view
"Well alright than, so I need to head north to arrive to Orario"- said Arthur as he started walking
"In the meantime let's check my status"- said Arthur as he opened the status window

Daytime: Beginning with the rising of the Sun at dawn Escanor begins to make a dramatic change, both physically and mentally. He grows much taller and muscular as time passes, with his clothes being ripped off him unless specifically tailored to his growth. In this state, his physical strength and endurance are incredible and his immense magic power casually radiates from his body as intense heat which normally reduces everything around him to ashes. He seems to be able to exert some control over this, being able to prevent friends from being hurt or turning his power up at will to produce intense light and heat capable of melting even stone. In this state, his normally skittish demeanor is replaced by one of confidence and a royal atmosphere.
Super Slash「微塵斬りスーパースラッシュ, Sūpā Surasshu; literally meaning "Atom Slashing"」: Escanor delivers a powerful downwards slash with his axe that causes considerable damage that can be felt from several meters away.
The One「天上天下唯我独尊ザ・ワン, Za Wan; lit. "The Vainglorious Existence across Heaven and Earth"」: During noon, when his power is at its peak, for one minute he becomes the manifestation of power itself and his body dwarfs normal people. In this form, he is said to be invincible.

Pride Flare「炸裂する傲慢プライド・フレア, Puraido Furea; lit. "Exploding Arrogance"」: Escanor causes his Cruel Sun to flare with heat so intense it is capable of vaporizing a sizable lake in an instant.
Crazy Prominence「爆発する矜持クレイジー・プロミネンス, Kureijī Purominensu; lit. "Exploding Pride"」: Escanor produces a large amount of miniature suns from his body that explode on impact.[10]
Final Prominence「終末の業火ファイナルプロミネンス, Fainaru Purominensu; lit. "Apocalyptic Hellfire"」: As The One: Ultimate, Escanor concentrates all of his power into a gigantic swirling fireball that he hurls at the opponent.

" Wow I'm extremely powerful, I'm at Level 12 already and SSS in all the stats, Escanor truly was a monster in his verse, with all stats at SSS level and assuming it was like that from level 1 than I'm approximately level 48, Aren't I too op"- said Arthur with a sweat drop on his forehead
( I said 48 as beginning form S to SSS is 3 levels let's say, so 3 x12 will be 36 +12 equals 48, feel free to correct me as I dint really bother to do the actual math)
" I knew Escanor was strong and that's the main reason why I asked for him in the survey but goddamn he's strong, I'm pretty confident I can say that I can one shot this whole verse, especially since I don't have the weaknesses of night"- proclaimed Arthur
" looks like I'm almost there"- said Arthur as he saw Orarios gates and the big line of people waiting to be able to get in the bustling city
"Before I go in I need to make sure I choose the right familia, as any otaku I would love to choose Hestia, but would that be the best course of action? After all it's just going to be her, bell and me in the familia for a while before shit hits the fan"- said Arthur
" Well not like any of it matters to me since I'm already op and I'm confident I can raise the familia by myself all the way to the top 1 position as the strongest"- proclaimed Arthur
"Decision's decisions"- said Arthur while stroking his mustache
"WAIT I HAVE A MUSTACHE?!"- Asked Arthur to himself
[ ROB here, I know I said you wouldn't be hearing from me again but, I forgot to mention I gave you Escanors appearance, I made sure to lower your height as being 10'8 ft wouldn't be ideal so I made you 7'2, you're still going to tower over everyone but at least you won't be mistaken as a literal giant, alright now it's for real, you won't hear from me anymore, also don't forget to entertain me]- appeared the message from ROB on the system screen
" I'm so dumb, why couldn't I realized earlier that my field of vision seemed to be bigger then my previous one, well no sulking over spilled milk, it's not like Escanor isn't handsome, and girls do like tall guys....right?"- asked Arthur to himself
( I'll be referring Arthur as Escanor in the next chapter and going forward, as technically he is him, Arthur or Escanor now will be getting more templates, he will travel to other anime's and or movies later but for now he is in Danmachi, again I'm just writing for fun so don't expect anything big or the best grammar as I don't have a laptop and I'm writting on my iPad, also as I also have school and a job I can only update this fanfic about 2 time a week, but each chapter will be long, just like this one)
