Reviews of Tempest of the Battlefield

Excellent work and a very interesting book. The story line is excellent and perfect development with suspense. The only problem is the release rate which is slow. Some people tend to read fast and don't like to wait for long.

Super repetitive plot. Same scenario has being recycled like 15+ times. Most of the time in the same context too. Also, there are quite a few plot holes. 90% of story is competitions in one thing or an other. So don't expect adventure. Most of each chapter is filler exposition that is common in web novels. I skimmed though chapters as they consist mostly of explanations irrelevant to story and just read dialogue and surrounding description. Kept hoping something new would happen, disappointed. Also, how Mc forces himself on women multiple times because no means yes right? Some cool cultivation and battles though.

Does anyone know at about what chapter the character gets back into killing the Bug Race again? I stopped reading at about chapter 120 because I got tired of the hype of the VR training and the school competition/tournament stuff.

This is one of my favourite stories here. (I'm at chapter 195) It starts with a survival arc, than an academy arc, then a training arc. Interspaced are a lot of competitions. Apart from regular fighting competitions there is also "Battlecraft Combat" which seem to be inspired by Starcraft. The cultivation system is complicated, there is GN-Force, Soulforce and a few other forces. They interlock with each other. I haven't understood it too well, but that doesn't bother me. The world is extremely rich with a lot of history that influences current events and an interesting political landscape. The characters aren't anything special. The story is less misogynic than most others here: There are girls in it who aren't in love with the MC or hate him. The translation is very good and the update stability all right. Overall: I totally recommend that you give the story a try.

I gave this 5/5 starts b/c I enjoy the stability & entertainment & militaristic vibe this translation provides. The MC is quirky and not brainless or overbearing & the supporting characters for the most part develop well alongside the MC. A ton of action, some drama & betrayal & so far a little bit of politics.

I've just read all the chapter tonight (c39)... It's really good I like the SciFi part in this novel. Character and side character are well made and I like how the story is going it's neither fast or slow pace it's refreshing ;) I think it's a good read.

such a hanging end. a journey from the weak, a story of survival in the deserted planet, unto the general of human race. a story of betrayal, rivalry, and a friendship.

This novel was quite interesting. It was quite unexpected at a particular point, after the plot had been developing for a while. You see I thought they were going to go accomplish their goal, but they were actually just following along with their predetermined destiny. I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the author and the uniqueness of the characters. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. 11/10 would read again.

My choice as the best in the Tempest series. Great exposition and the characters are all unique, their drive and development is worth noting and makes for a great story overall.

The first series Translation novel I have read. Consider having a good back story telling and pretty much detail on world background. Still far away from finishing it

This novel from the beginning was very uninspired and just sub-par. I continued reading as I thought it might get better as you went on, but sadly that is not something that happens. The story starts off with a poorly structures info dump with many things being thrown at you when it is not even necessary for you to know such things yet. The plot also seems to make very little sense as humans instantly branch out into being a multi-galaxy species for no apparent reason at all. After a horrendous first chapter you are greeted by more poor plot points that make little to no sense. You can feel no real connection to the MC as his personality is so inconsistent and stupid. The MC is bland, the world is boring, and the story development has nowhere to go. I wouldn't recommend reading this at all. Just a waste of time.

Very Quick to the point chapters some might be fillers. It that’s okay because most is straight to the main story doesn’t let you down you want to hurry up and see what’s gonna happen in the next chapter. Sometimes it can drag out but you need to feel the anxiety the mc feels at that time highly recommend

I truly did enjoy this novel.... well at least when I could still read it but 300-400 chapters instantly became premium within the last week, all of which used to be free. I mean if you're going to go premium at least make it so that every new chapter goes premium, not every chapter up to an entire year ago.

I think this novel is pretty great if a bit repetitive. Also what’s with the cover art lol. My main problem is with the action scenes as they are a bit confusing but I do enjoy hearing about the main character even if development is meh

Thanks for the chapter and thanks for the story its really nice .. Wang Tong journey is just starting and i hope it will be more interesting now that he is a Blade Warrior..

Good novel. Story is pretty decent and I'd recommend it to all wanting something to pass time. The start is quite unique and not something I've seen before.
