CHAPTER 30: SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND TOO

Henna, Henley and Jenson were at the mall looking for attire for their Graduation this Sunday. They did not expect that they bumped into Olivia inside the store as they walked in. While she was carrying a shopping bag on the way out.

Olivia smiled at them and says hi, then went out from the store. Henna looked at the two boys. She was shocked that the boys knew. "Did you two know that she is back?"

Jenson was silent while Henley nodded. "And when will you two hide this important news to me?"

"It was just a few days ago when she texted Ocean that she was back." Henley shared information.

"And it happened that you never mention it to me. You know that I am Rhianna's best friend too." Henna said angrily.

"Well, Rhianna is our friend too. But I do not think we have the right to interfere before Ocean does." Jenson exclaimed.

"This is just inexcusable. What are we going to do? If Rhianna finds out we are doom for not telling her about it."

"We will tell Ocean later when he will go to the bar. We cannot tell Rhianna only Ocean can do that." Jenson said.

"Yeah, let us go finish our shopping then forget what we saw today. I know Ocean will tell her about Olivia." Henley said.

"Whatever." Henna frowned at them.

They went inside and tried some outfits for the graduation. But in Henna's mind, she cannot tolerate this news. She is Rhianna's best friend too; she needs to tell her right now after the boys choose what they wear.

Rhianna was still at work when she saw Henna-walking in. "Hi, what brings you here? What do you want to drink? My treat."

Henna managed to smile naturally to her. "Well, I just miss my best friend. I just got back from shopping with the boys while Sophie was busy with her new job. I want some Iced Café Latte please."

Rhianna laughed. "Okay, wait for me at that corner. I will be off in 15 minutes."

Rhianna already changed into her clothes when she went to Henna's table. She brought the Iced Café Latte with her and her sling bag.

Henna quickly got up. "Let's go we will take a stroll and eat something too since it was dinner time." she said.

"Okay then, where will we be eating?" Rhianna asked as they stepped away from her workplace.

"How about eating at the park? Are you okay with that? I just love to take some fresh air in this night." Henna suggested. But in her mind, it is the best place for them to talk privately.

Rhianna excitedly love the idea. "Oh, I really love to go there. You know that I do not mind as long as I enjoy it with you."

"I miss Sophie with us. I am going to miss you when we go to college. We cannot spend too much time with each other." Henna hugged Rhianna's arm while walking towards the park.

"Hahaha." Rhianna burst out laughing. In her thought, she will miss their friends too. She has not talk to anyone about her situation. She has not talk to Ocean about the pregnancy.

She does not know how to open it up to all of her friends, her family. She did some major decision two days ago when she got home. She will give birth to this angel in her stomach no matter what.

Ocean was busy with his family business and sometimes goes home around 9 in the evening. His father started training him in their company since finals was already done. He will be going to college soon taking up Business Management.

He was still in touch with Rhianna through calls and texts. He has not able to talk to her about Olivia; he is planning to tell her right after graduation.

Meanwhile, Rhianna and Henna were at the park watching beautiful lights in the city. They were holding foods on their hands sitting at the bench with a post light standing behind it.

Henna did not open up first, she was doing some time to breathe before let Rhianna know the story. She glanced at Rhianna who was happy eating her Steam Pork Dumplings, Jianbing (Chinese Crepes), Chinese Sesame Balls, Baozi (Chinese Bread Buns) and Strawberry Milk.

She was not use to see her eating so much foods. She shook her head. Rhianna noticed her.

"What? What's the matter? Rhianna asked.

She shook her head again. "There is something wrong with you tonight."

Rhianna stopped putting Baozi in the middle of the mouth. "Why? What is wrong with me?"

"You eat too much and I did not realize you almost finished them soon."

Rhianna looked at Henna staring at her food. She did not aware until Henna noticed.

"Oh!" covering her mouth from the shocked. "I did not comprehend the moment I grab a bite on each item. I found it delicious as soon as I tasted it heheheh…"

Henna cried out laughing at Rhianna. The two of them finished all the food; Henna grabbed the opportunity to open Rhianna about something important.

"Rhianna, you are one of the best people I treasure the most. You are my best friend too." Henna said this as she tapped her hands unto her. "But I want to tell you something because I treated you as my sister, a family."

Henna continued, "It is about Ocean's past." Rhianna got confused but did not talk. "You knew that I have known Ocean and Jenson because we grew up together." Rhianna nodded but still looked straight in the eye to Henna.

"In middle school, Ocean and Olivia were into a relationship. They fell in love. Olivia was Ocean's first love. At that time, Olivia's parents were separate and her mother wanted to go to America with her. Olivia told Ocean and he did not agree the idea that they will be in long distance relationship." Rhianna focused all the words that Henna told her regarding Ocean's love life.
