CHAPTER 22: YOUNG HEART

Meanwhile in Jenson side, he does not have regrets. but he was afraid that Henna might think of him being advantage of her. He was afraid that their friendship would tear apart because of what happen. He was scared to think that he will lose her just like that.

He took a shower hastily and he needed to text her before he loses everything about her and their friendship. He could not afford if that will happen. He might go nuts if Henna will not be with him anymore.

Jenson got out from the bathroom when Henley and Ocean were already at their own bed and ready to sleep. He finishes all the things he does for himself promptly.

He took out his phone and texted Henna while lying in his bed.

Jenson: Hi! Are you sleeping? (send)

He put down his phone to his tummy and waited for a reply.

*Message vibrates*

He quickly grabbed it and read her reply.

Henna: I am about to. Why? (send)

Jenson: Are you mad at me? About … that THING at the beach. (send)

Henna did not respond fast. She was thinking what she should tell him.

Jenson quickly followed another text to her.

Jenson: You know I do not want you to get mad about that. I do not have regrets at all even if you misunderstood my intentions. I … (send)

Henna: I am not mad. (send)

Jenson: Really! (send)

Henna: Mmm… (send)

Jenson: Can I see you now? (send)

Henna's hands were trembling after reading his las text. Her young heart was like a bell ringing to her ears. She does not know what to do. Her mind and heart keep on saying, 'Go girl, grab it'.

She takes a glance to Rhianna and Sophie who were both sound asleep. She calmed herself before she replies.

Jenson almost bang his head on the headboard after he realized his last text. He was out of his mind when he did that. He does not know why he even wrote something like that.

*Message vibrates*

Henna: Now? (send)

Jenson got excited and looked at both of his friends. They were asleep then he walks out their room silently. He knew his friends would not question him if he were outside. They will not do that.

Jenson: Yes, meet me outside now. I am here waiting for you. (send)

Henna's body was cold for being bold decision after reading Jenson's message. She grabbed her sweater. She quietly stepped outside and took the key with her.

When she opened the door, Jenson was there looking at her. She bites her lips then slowly closes the door.

They walked together silently as they go down to the beach. Jenson was holding Henna's hand.

"Why are we secretly doing this?" Henna said as they were now walking the cold breeze in the beach. They stopped walking and sat on the sand.

"I do not know. I feel like I want to spend even just once." He paused. "Even only for a moment with you tonight."

Henna stared at him and Jenson stared back at her. Both of them knew that this is the only time to spend them alone. Because in the next days they will go back of what they supposed to be.

Jenson licked his lips as he glanced at her lips. Henna was thinking the same too.

"Can I kiss you again? Just kissing only promise." He asked permission. Henna nodded.

Jenson kissed her gently at first. But it became rough. Just like Jenson it was just a kissing. He respects her as a friend, as a person and as a woman too.

They pulled away, catching each other's breathe. They were now laying in the sand staring at the stars. Holding each other's hands. They knew in a couple hours it won't be like this.

Jenson squeezed her hand as the moment passed. He wanted to kiss her again before heading back to the hotel.

"I think we should go. It is getting colder." Jenson said. Henna nodded. He helped her get up but he got another weird idea again.

He pulled her closer and kissed her again. Henna did not protest because she wanted him too.

They went back holding hands without thinking consequences. When they reached outside their rooms they stopped.

"I guess, this is it." Henna glanced at Jenson.

"Yeah!" He replied but stole another kiss before they separated.

"Good night." She smiled.

"Good night." He smiled back.

Henna and Jenson were smiling as they were in their own bed. Tomorrow is another back to normal day for them. It is okay because they gave themselves the freedom to be alone even just once.
