CHAPTER 20: BEACH OUTING (2)

Rhianna's neck became stiff from sleeping the same position. She could not easily get up. When she opened her eyes; she looked up and realized how stupid she was leaning on Ocean's shoulder the whole time.

She was a little dizzy looking outside the window with views were so beautiful to resist. She did not aware that she just fallen asleep.

Early wake up this morning and it was unusual for her timetable doing that. She unhurriedly removes her head from his shoulder. But Ocean was instantly leaning it back.

She turned to look up. Ocean still closes his eyes as if nothings happen. Rhianna did not detach anymore. She just put her pillow on his shoulder so that they both feel comfortable during the journey. She continued back to sleep.  

A long ride has arrived to the destination. Before they could getting off, the bus were stopped properly first for safety precaution.

Ms. Xi got off the bus first and waited for her students outside. They walked together as soon as everyone was out towards the resort. They were at the lobby waiting for Ms. Xi who was talking in front of the counter.

Ms. Xi spoke, "Okay, we arrived in our location. I talked to the front desk, as our school committees arranged this. Each room will be sharing into four persons. Therefore, you have to group yourselves and of course, separate boys and girls okay!"

Six group will be sharing room with four persons while the two groups remaining were consists of three persons. That would be the group of Rhianna and the group of Ocean. To think, no one will dare to share a room with them.

Each group gets their room key to the receptionist. Ms. Xi and the assistant teacher will be sharing one room. All of them will occupy at the fourth floor.

Sophie and Henley insist of getting their room keys for their group and so other groups to follow.

When Sophie and Henley came back to their group, they were holding the room key. "Our room is just across of Henley's group. So, it will be great and we are that lucky because most of our classmates and Ms. Xi were scattered one to two rooms apart. "Sophie was putting on a contented expression on them.

"Alright, listen up people, I will give you an hour to rest and we will meet up here at the lobby after." Ms. Announced. "Wear your swimming attires or whatever you will do around the beach. Let us enjoy this outing with full of memories to reminisce someday okay. But please do not do stupid things that you will regret in your life."

Aloud respond heard. "Yes, Ms. Xi"

Ocean was still carrying Rhianna's travelling bag since. He just hand it over to her when they were in front of the designated room. They were at the opposite side of their other classmates. Their rooms were the last part of the floor.

They were delighted that the room was spacious one as soon as Henna opened the room. Henley did the same; their rooms were looking through if they leave the door open. It was good thing that they were the first one to get the keys from the front desk.

"We will just leave the door open since no one will pass by this area." Henley looked amused.

Henna agreed, "Yeah, we will also leave our door open too."

Both of them were laying each bed while resting for an hour before going to the lobby. Henna was looking around the room. The room was nice. There is a mini kitchen with plates, glasses, utensils and others. Everything in there was complete.

Jenson knocked the door as they entered. Rhianna was lying down quickly got up when she saw the three boys were coming in. Sophie stays the same position; she did not bother at all.

"We forgot about this." Jenson raised the bag he was carrying. "Nanny Maria prepared some foods for us. I saw that we could preheat it since there is microwave in here. We could eat here in this room together." He said.

"We love that, I am so starving a little." Sophie complained. "We do not have soda to drink."

Henley faced Ocean and talked, "Why don't you and Rhianna a quick ditch to buy that downstairs. I saw a convenient store nearby."

Ocean nodded then looked to Rhianna.

Rhianna got out from the bed and opened her backpack to get her wallet and cellphone. Both of them walked out from the room.

It was not that hard to find the convenient store that Henley saw when they arrived. It was just a few steps away, from the resort they were staying.

As they walked nearer the convenient store, a little boy was about to hit Rhianna side with bicycle. Fortunately, Ocean saw it coming. He grabbed Rhianna's body to his arm. Rhianna shocked in a minute. She did not expect thing to happen while her mind was thinking about the convenient store.

"I am so sorry. I did not mean it." A young boy apologized to them.

"Okay, just watch where you're going. You might hurt other people or you might hurt yourself if you are not careful." Ocean is still hugging Rhianna tightly.

"Okay, thank you." Then the young boy left.

Rhianna was still in shocked but could not overcome that they were hugging.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Ocean asked.

Rhianna slowly let go and touched her eyeglasses. It makes her heart race. "Yes, I am all right. Thanks."

They continued walking toward the store. Rhianna picked some junk foods too and fruits. Ocean proceeds to the beverage area. He gets some soda, water, juice and milk. Rhianna followed him to the counter. After they settled the bill and went out.

The table was ready with foods as they entered the room. Ocean put down the plastic bag on the floor and takes out the soda, water and juice. He placed it on the table then he takes out the milk and places it inside the ref.

"Now, let's dig in. I am so starving already." Sophie rubbed her stomach.

Everybody laughed.

The Lobby

Ms. Xi and some of the students were already at the venue when the group of Ocean and Rhianna got out from the elevator. It was five minutes before 11 o'clock in the morning.

Other groups started coming down; when Ms. Xi spoke for the activities, they will be doing at the beach. "It is time to do fun here at the beach. We should grab this opportunity to get to know your other classmates. Let us have fun playing games in the sun. Go, go, people, and go on a spree." She said with a lively voice.

The hot sunny afternoon, Section Gold gathered in the middle of the sand beach playing tag of war. Group 1 consists of six were Rhianna, Ocean, Sophie, Henley, Henna and Jenson. Group two were consists of six of their classmates.

When Ms. Xi whistled blow, they started to push and pull the rope of each groups. Some of their classmates were cheering the participants and screaming who could be the winner of that game.

Group 1 that is Rhianna's group was competitive that they will win this game. It was right before their eyes, they were pull over just like that. They lose.

Rhianna was in front of Ocean, when she realized that the opponent would win. She let go the rope so that it will not hurt her hands and her body will push towards the sand. Automatically, Ocean grabbed her waist to the sideward when he knew that they could not win this game. He protected Rhianna not to stumble forward.

While Jenson grabbed Henna waist backward, they were both in sitting position when they land. Jenson accidentally touched her boobs. He immediately let go then he whispered sorry to her. Henna's face was very red, she knew it was accident but thinking about it makes her so embarrass.

Henna suddenly got up without saying a word. Her heart was pounding so fast. She could not look at him anymore.

Ms. Xi announced the group 2 as the winner. They continue doing games and having fun. Ms. Xi wants them to enjoy and entertain oneself for a life of being young and mess around. You only live once that is her motto.
