CHAPTER 11: FOUNDATION DAY

It is the special event for the entire school. It is very tiring with some students who will participate with the sports competition because they have been practicing from school in order to win for the event like this.

The students in every level were gathering around the school field for the opening ceremony. The principal was giving some speech in front of the hundreds of students.

"Good morning to each and every one of you, students, teachers and other staff members of this Bright Private School. Today is the special day of our Alma Matter. Why? Because all of us will going to enjoy these activities every year. Therefore, just do your best and enjoy this moment. Good luck to all participants who will join. Thank you and have fun."

*Clap*clap*clap

Everyone was about to preparing for each game. The students were scattered to watch different sports competitions.

Ocean exempted to any kinds of sports due to his injury before that was the assurance of the school board.

Rhianna will be the one who goes first in the swimming competition. Ocean and Henna will be there to support her. The rest of their group was there in the designated sports they had choose.

After Rhianna's competition, they will go straight to their other friends to support.

Rhianna already changed into her swimming attire for the competition.

The coach told them to be ready. The game will be start in five minutes. They stepped out from the locker room then proceed to the pool.

Alexa was very much ready with the sports she would be joining. She has the attitude of too much confident. That she will win the swimming competition that Rhianna join too.

Nobody in the school can match with her in term of swimming. She was the consisting champion every year.

She smirked when she saw Rhianna beside her.

'I will break you into piece Rhianna Park. You should not choose this competition with me.'

Rhianna Park heard her classmates screamed when they heard her name mentioned. She smiled even she did not see where they were seated. It is enough for her to do her best and win this game.

She took a deep breath and ready for the whistle to blow.

*Prrrrrrrttt*

"Go Rhianna…..."

"Go Alexa….."

"Rhianna, Rhianna, Rhianna"

"Oh my God, I cannot believe what I see. Rhianna were really so fast. She was even faster than Alexa." Henna was screaming aloud.

Ocean Huang was so intense when watching Rhianna. His heart was trembling to death. He really wanted Rhianna to win.

People were watching could not hold on when the fight between Alexa and Rhianna were so close. They did the last round Rhianna was almost closer to the finished line.

Ocean and Henna shouted aloud when Rhianna got the first. Second was Alexa.

Alexa was so furious again when she found out that she was beaten by Rhianna who came first.

Ocean and Henna waited for Rhianna outside the pool area. They will be going to support their other friends.

Rhianna was about to meet her friends when Alexa blocked her way.

"You think that you are better than me."

Rhianna just looked at her without saying a word. She ignored Alexa for being insecurity since day 1. Person like her should be disregard on purpose because it will make things worse.

However, it did not work on Alexa, she even lay her hand to Rhianna's arm so hard. Rhianna still talked motionless.

"What are you doing? You think of yourself superior that can always be above anyone else. You can step down to others." Rhianna raised her eyebrow as she stared at Alexa. Then she grasped Alexa hand off to her arm. "Girl, where is your sportsmanship? You can even accept the fact you were lose the competition."

Everyone in the locker room was looking at her. Alexa turned her face reddish because of anger. They were whispering about it. Rhianna pushed Alexa sideward for her to unblock her way out to the door.

Rhianna saw Ocean outside with Henna who was so delightful seeing her. She walked closer to them. Ocean suddenly hugged her which Henna and Rhianna both were shocked.

"Congrats, you did it well." He said excitedly.

Rhianna's heart was like a boom, boom, and boom. When Ocean released her, he was overexcited when he saw Rhianna he forgets and embrace her. He immediately let go.

"Congratulations you did it." He smiled awkwardly.

Rhianna saw his face turned exactly same as hers that Ocean embarrassment caught him.

"Thank you, Sea." However, in her heart she felt something more. "Let's go to Sophie's game we might miss it." They walked together as they moved towards Sophie's.

It was last quarter when they went to Sophie's game. Her team was leading already and it was impossible for another team to catch up.

Sophie was excellent with the sport she chooses. Everyone was cheering and aloud commotion because of the exciting game. At the end of the game, Sophie's team won. Sophie approached her friends after the game.

"Congrats Cream, love you. You are the best." Rhianna quickly hugged her best friend as soon as she saw her running towards them.

"Thank you, Ice, so how was your game?" she asked. Rhianna smiled.

"I knew it." They hugged each other tight. "Hey, you go ahead guys. Do not forget they need our support to other games. I will be there in a few minutes. I will shower quickly then." Sophie reminded them.

Before they could reply, Sophie was gone like a wind. Both of them did not waste another time to go to their other friends.

Overall, the sports games, group of Ocean's friends won every game. It was indeed a success for their section. It seems like it was their best year.

Each of their classmates were delighted that they got what they have for their section. They were all supportive to their players. It was indeed the best.
