The Tell

~ Chase's Pov ~

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing and I picked it up from the nightstand and saw that it was Scott calling I answered " you do know what time it is right " I heard him running " no time to explain meet me at the dvd store " and then he hung up before I could say anything I looked over at Quinn and saw her sleeping peacefully, I got up from bed and started putting on my clothes after I was done I kissed her on the forehead and wrote a note telling her I had to go and walked out from the cottage and started running towards town

~ DVD store ~

I got to the store and climbed to the roof where I saw them, Scott and Derek standing at the edge I walked over to them and said " you do know it's still early to be up and running around " they didn't answer and just stared down at what's happening I went and stood next to Scott and he turned to Derek who said " you both starting to get it " Scott who still looked clueless looked at me and I just shrugged " no I don't get it , we don't wake up every night and go around murdering people right ? " I started walking away from the edge and saw the spiral on the ground ' awesome when did he do this ' I heard Derek answer Scott's question " no we don't we're predators but that doesn't mean we have to be killers " Scott looked to be taking his answer and so I looked at Derek " ok so why is he going around town killing people? , is it for fun or what? " Derek started walking away from the edge " that's what we're gonna find out " I just nodded and looked back at the spiral marking on the ground and then walked away

we were back at the hale house and I stood outside took out my flask and drank from it and just listened to Scott and Derek talk " you know, I have a life too " I just rolled my eyes and took a big swig from it " no you don't " they kept arguing so I walked inside when Scott said " why can't you just find him yourself , why can't you just sniff him out when he's human " I stood by and watched how this was gonna play and Derek said " because he's human scent could be entirely different " then he looked at me and back to Scott and said " it has to be both of you who find him because both of you have a connection with him a link that you can't understand , if I can teach you both to control your abilities then you both can find " I nodded and said " and what happens when we find him " he seemed to ponder this " we take him down " Scott seemed to think about and said " so if we help you , you can stop him " I just shook my head at his denseness and Derek answered his question while looking at me " not alone , we're stronger in numbers , a pack makes an individual more powerful " I nodded my head knowing what he was saying but unlike Scott " how are we supposed to help when we don't know what happening " I looked at him and said while making my eyes glow their color " speak for yourself Scotty " Derek looked at Scott and said " I can teach you , do you remember what happened that first night you were shot in the arm ? , right after you were hit " he seemed to be remembering that night and said " Yeah I changed back " I started knowing what was going to happened when he came down from where he stood and stood in front of Scott " mm-hmm . and when you were hit by his car same thing right ? " and Scott nodded his head and he continued " what's the common denominator " I wanted to say something but decided against it and just watched as he took his hand and started crushing " Ahhh, what ... what the hell are you doing " Scott said when he fell to his knees and Derek just said in a casual tone " it'll heal " and walked ack towards the stairs and Scott said while holding his hand " it still hurts " Derek stood at the stairs and looked at him and said " and that's what keeps you human , Pain . " and Scott's hand healed and Derek gestured towards it and walked up the stairs " maybe you will survive" I walked out the door and my phone vibrated I took it out and saw that it was a text from Quinn I opened it and saw she sent me pic of her laying in bed naked ' fuck I wish I was there right now'

I got to school and I was walking to my locker when I saw balloons come out of Allison's locker ' oh yeah I forgot it's her birthday ' I made my way over to her and said " so it's your b-day huh" she looked around seeing if anyone was looking and said " yeah it's kind of embarrassing really " I looked at her and said " no it's not either your not the type to celebrate your birthday or your a year older than everyone in our grade " she looked at me with a sheepish smile and said in soft voice " I'm a year older than everyone else " good thing I've got enhanced hearing I looked behind me and saw Scott walking over , we fist bumped and then I turned to Allison and said to Scott while still looking at her " Scotty it's your girl's b-day and you didn't get her anything " he seemed to look surprised and looked at her and said " it's your birthday today " and she shook her head in a no motion " no no I mean yes it is " I tried holding in my laughter but couldn't and looked at Scott while laughing and said " she's embarrassed because she's a year older than us " I walked away from them while laughing

I got to Harris' class and sat at an empty seat with another one where Jackson sat next to me and looked at Stiles who was busy highlighting his entire book ' seriously why torture the book man ' and then Harris came and stood besides him " has anyone seen Scott McCall " he looked at me I just shrugged my shoulders then he looked at Stiles who was still torturing the textbook he looked up and saw Harris looking at him and he shrugged his shoulders indicating he didn't know where Scott was right before he could say anything Jackson came walking in and Harris walked towards him while they talked I looked at his neck and saw claw marks ' fuck Derek I'm gonna beat the shit out of him ' after they wered one talking he sat next to me and I touched the claw marks and said " what the hell happened to your neck " he swatted my hand away and said in an annoyed tone " nothing happened " I heard his heart skip a beat and saw he was scared of something and so I heard Harris tell Stiles " Mr. Stilinski , try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs , it's chemistry not a coloring book " I chuckled at this while Stiles popped the cap from his mouth , I zoned oyt for a bit but heard him talk to Danny " one more question " Danny seemed to be annoyed by him already and said " what " what he said next almost made me laugh " do you find me attractive? " Danny seemed to be caught by surprise that he asked that and i just thought 'seriously'

~~~Locker Room~~~

~~~3rd POV~~~

Jackson can be seen in front of a mirror holding the side of his neck in pain from the claw marks on the back of his neck while this was happening Chase was standing at his locker watching his brother stand in front of the mirror and walk towards his locker but stopped when he saw something glow and thought to himself ' seriously how could someone mistake a pair of earphones for a werewolf's eyes ' Jackson started backing away from his locker and snapped out of it when he saw it was just someone's earphones instead of the creature , Chase then walked out of the room leaving Jackson alone who then turned to see Derek standing there looking at him and started towards him like a predator stalking its prey Jackson backed into the lockers behind and looked scared and stammered to speak " I-I don't know where Scott or Chase are " but Derek just shook his head while still looking at him and said " I'm not here for Scott or Chase , I'm here for you. " Jackson looked confused and frightened at the same time and said " w-why me ? I didn't do anything " Derek walked closer to him and said " No but you saw something didn't you? " Jackson was to quick to answer and said " No I didn't .... I didn't see anything " they were face to face now and Derek looked into his eyes and listened to his breathing and said " What was it hmm? An animal? A mountain lion? " Jackson looked him straight in the eye and said " I didn't see anything I swear . I'm not lying. " Derek listened to his heart skip a beat and looked him in the eye and said " then calm down and say it again " Jackson was confused at this and asked " s-say what that I'm not lying? " Derek had enough and told him " Tell me that you didn't see anything. slowly. " and moved back a little to listen to his heartbeat and Jackson said slowly while breathing heavily " I didn't see anything . I'm not lying " Derek looked at his face and and grabbed him by the hair and looked at the claw marks that were left from him stabbing and said " you really need to get that checked out " and walked towards the door when he got out of the locker room he was grabbed from behind by Chase who's eyes were glowing and pushed him against the wall with his clawed hand wrapped around his throat and said in a demonic voice " never go near my brother again and if you do I will rip your throat out with my teeth are we clear? " Derek who wrapped his hands around Chase's arm tried prying his hand from his neck nodded and Chase left him to fall to his knees and walked away

~~change of view~~

Scene changes to Scott Allison walking through the woods with smiles on their , Scott looks at Allison's worried expression and chuckles " You're still not okay with this ,are you? " " I just feel like I need an alibi " " well, if we get caught, I'll just say it was my fault " " You don't need to take the blame for me it , it was my choice too. " " oh good , cause if we get caught I'm totally gonna blame you " Allison fake gasped and said " oh really? " " Hell yeah! , and they'd believe me. you know , totally hot girl asks you to skip the day with her, like I'm gonna say no " " so throw me under the bus just like that ? " " Yeah. throw, push, shove... " " and what fi I decide to drag you down with me " I'd just yell for help " " well, what if I did this? " after saying that she kissed him and Scott pulled back with goofy grin on his face and said " I'd scream for help " she looked at him " and if I did this " she kisses him longer than the first kiss and he says after the kiss " I'd beg for mercy " she chuckles and playfully pushes him away and runs off with him chasing after her

~~Change of view~~

Stiles and Chase can be seen walking up the stairs with Lydia's mom with the two boys whisper-shout at each other " why'd you have to drag me here with you " " because her mom doesn't know me and knows you " Stiles retorted and smiled innocently when the woman looked at them when they reached the door she knocked before popping her head inside and said " honey Chase and Stiles are here to see you " " what the hell is a "Stiles" ? " Stiles seemed offended by this but calmed down when Ms. Martin said " she took a little something to ease her nerves " Chase just stood behind them texting on his phone and didn't even notice the woman pass him by going down the stairs , Stiles walks into the room nervous and sees Lydia laying on her bed and says to him " what're you doing here? " Stiles started stuttering and said " I-I was just making sure you were okay " " hmm , why? " she patted the empty space on her bed indicating for him sit " Uh... *chuckles nervously* because I was worried about you today. how are you feeling? " Lydia moves closer to him and says " I feel fantastic " Stiles chuckles nervously and see the bottle of pills on her nightstand and reads the label " Oh, what...." he looks at her then back at the pills and said " bet you can't say, "I saw Suzy sittin' in a shoeshine shop" 10 times fast " " I saw Shuzy .... I shaw " Stiles put the bottle back on the nigthstand and looked at Lydia who seemed to be in a daze and heard her say " I saw... " " what? Lydia, what did you see? " " something " " something like... like a mountain lion? " " A mountain lion " " are you sure you saw a mountain lion or are you just saying that because that's what the police told you? " " A mountain lion " Stiles grabbed the stuffed toy on the nightstand and showed it to her "what's this? " Lydia looked at the stuffed toy and said in a trance-like state " A mountain lion " " Okay, You're so drunk " After he said this Lydia fell onto his lap and he heard a click behind him and turned around and saw Chase standing there with his phone in hand and said with a Teasing grin " ooh how nice "

~~Back in the woods~~

Scott and Allison are busy trekking through the woods when Allison slips on a branch almost falling back but he catches her before she can fall " You okay " " Yeah, I think you just your masculinity back " She goes onto her phone Scott looks at her and says " What're you doing? " " I'm just texting Lydia "thank you" for the birthday stuff. " " No if mine is off so is yours " " So we're disconnecting from the world? " Scott shrugged his shoulders and said " You can handle that for one day right? " " Just this one text then I will be all yours okay? " " Mmm-hmm "

~~Back at the Martin's Residence~~

Chase walks out of the room leaving Stiles with a pill-drunk Lydia Martin , Stiles stands up and walks to the door " well I'm gonna go, Uh I'll let you get back to the whole post-traumatic stress thing " and when he closes the door he hears her say " mmm. stay " he moves back inside quickly and closes the door and look back and forth in confusion and ask " Me stay? You want me to stay " " Mmm-hmm. * Pats bed * " Stiles sits on the bed and looks at her awestruck " Yes please " Stiles exhales deeply when she moves close to him and caresses his cheek " Stay. Please Jackson " After saying this she passes out falling to the bed with Stiles saying " And we're done here " he looks around her room when her phone chimes and he looks at her seeing her pasted out " You want me to get that? " he grabs her phone and looks at the text and sees the alpha crashing through the window and pauses it looking at the screen

~~Hale house~~

Kate and her goons walk up to the hale compound looking for Derek one of the hunters says while looking at the burnt down property with his shotgun in his hands " he wants us to wait " " So I've been reminded....to death " the other hunter chimes in " and that means we're not allowed to kill him " " But it doesn't mean we can't say hello " they cock their guns and walk towards the house

Inside Chase is seen sitting on the stairs while Derek is busy doing pull-ups on one of the support beams " so basically we just wait until the full moon to find the alpha " Chase ask while he continues to workout but he only receives a grunt as a response he suddenly jumps down and does some pushups when he stops and looks at the door with Chase getting straight up from where he was sitting when he heard someone coming ' Ah great here comes the other psycho bitch ' they both go hide and suddenly the door is kicked in by one of the hunters holding his shotgun ready to shoot walks in followed by Kate and the other hunter and says while looking around " no one home " " oh he's here, he just not feeling particularly hospitable " " Maybe he's out burying a bone in the backyard " Kate looks at him with a ' are you serious look ' " Really? A dog joke? , We're going there, and that's the best you got? " she walks in deeper and looks around " If you wanna provoke him, saying something like, "Too bad your sister 'bit it' before she had her first litter " she continued while walking into the living room " Too bad she howled like a bitch when we cut her in half! " suddenly they heard two growls and a hunter was sent flying out into the wall knocking him out Derek came out jumping from the stairs and onto the wall looking at Kate snarling and jumped over the stairs grabbed onto the support beam kicked the other hunter down to the floor next to Kate who looked at the growling Derek smirking devilishly and took out a Taser-wand and tased him when he came jumping at her causing to fall to the ground groaning , Chase who was in the back heard him get tased and winced ' glad that isn't me '

back to Derek and Kate the latter who started circling the fallen werewolf " Wow, This one grew up in all the right places , I don't know whether to kill it or lick it.

~~Stiles' Room~~

Stiles' standing calling Scott but it goes straight to voicemail " Hey it's me again. Look I found something and I don't know what to do, okay?, so if you could turn your phone on right now, it'd be great. or else I'll kill you do you understand me I'm gonna kill you. And I'm too upset o come up with a witty description about how exactly I'm gonna do it, okay? I'm gonna... ugh goodbye " after saying this he throws he's phone onto the bed and slumps down in his chair when suddenly he hears knocking on his open door which startles him but calms down when he sees it's just his dad at the door who looks at him with an anxious look on his face and says " Please tell me I'm gonna hear good news at this Parent/Teacher thing tonight. " Stiles thinks for a moment " Depends on how you define "Good news". " " I define it as you getting straight A's with no behavioral issues " " You might wanna rethink that definition " he pats his leg and walks away while saying " Enough said " Stiles turns to his desk and picks up Lydia's phone and looks at the video of the alpha jumping out the window and looks up at the ceiling " come on Scott where the hell are you? "

~~Bridge~~

Scott and Allison stand ontop of a bridge talking to each other and look at the water under the bridge and look at each other smiling lean in and kiss and start back to the car with Scott piggybacking Allison laughing

Back to Stiles who sits at his desk thinking about whether to tell Chase about the video and picks up the phone and watches the video sends it to him and then deletes it

~~Hale House~~

Chase listens closely to Kate and Derek when he hears Derek get zapped and he falls to the ground while growling from the pain and Kate's laugh from seeing him him in pain

Derek groans from the pain while Kate just laugh at him and sighs "oh 900,000 volts *Sighs* you never were good with electricity wee you ? or fire , which is why I'm gonna let you in on a little secret and well maybe we can help each other out " Derek looks at the ground while listening to her " yes your sister was severed into pieces and used as bait to try to catch you. Unpleasant, and frankly, a little too Texas Chainsaw Massacre for my taste, but quite true *chuckles* Now here's the part that might really kick you in your balls. We didn't kill her. " She looks at Derek's face " You think I'm lying " " wouldn't be the first time " she kisses her teeth at him and moves from the couch to crouch down infront of him " Sweetie, Well why don't you just listen to my heart and tell me if I am okay? " Derek just looks at her while listening to her heartbeat at a steady pace as she says slowly " We...didn't...kill...your sister. " she moves away from his ear and looks at his face and says " Did you hear that? There's no blips or upticks. Just the steady beat of the cold hard truth " she stood up and made her way to the middle of the room " found bite marks on your sister's body, Derek, what do you think that? A mountain lion? , why aren't we helping each other out? You might as well admit what you've guessing all along, Which is, the Alpha killed your sister, And all you have to do is tell who he is, And we'll take care of it for you. Problem solved, everyone goes home happy. " She looked at him waiting for an answer but he didn't say anything " Unless you don't know who he is either *Laughs* wow. Guess who just became totally useless?" She turned around for a second and spun back and started firing at him but he ran out the door already and through the woods looked back and roared , Chase who was still hiding in the house heard him and ran out the back

~~Animal Clinic~~

Alan Deaton the Veterinary/Druid was on the phone leaving Scott a message " Hey Scott it's me again just calling to make sure that everything's okay. You were supposed to be here an hour ago. Maybe you forgot. Whatever it is jut give me a call and let me know that everything's okay. All right thanks." The doorbell rang in the front and the Sheriff walk through and stands behind Deaton " Sheriff Stilinski " he looked away from the cabinet's glass and looked behind smiling and Stilinski started " Listen, I hate to bother you, but I'm having a bitch of a time getting a consensus on what this is we're dealing with " Deaton chuckles and says smiling " look I'm really flattered you've come to me for help, but like I said before, I'm no expert. " " But you were pretty certain the other day about our attacker being a mountain lion " " That's right " he nodded " I wanna show you something. We got a little lucky, the video store didn't have any cameras, but a security camera that was watching another parking lot happened to grab a few frames " He took out a picture " take a look at our mountain lion " Deaton looked at the picture and saw the alpha crashing through the window and Stilinski took another picture " here another " the picture showed the alpha on all fours " It's interesting " " Actually, Uh this is the interesting one " after he said this he put another picture on the counter this one showed it on two legs walking away like a person " Whoa that is freaky as fuck " they both jumped at hearing the voice and looked behind and saw Chase standing there " Goddamnit Chase you scared me " Stilinski said holding his chest and looked at Deaton and said " I've never seen a mountain lion do that " Deaton spoke while still looking at the photo " can't say, I have either. You've got a problem here " Chase looked at Deaton's face while the sheriff spoke " My first instinct was it was a bear, but bears don't walk on two legs " " no they drop to all fours, look like I said you really need an expert here. " " Yeah, yeah, but... could this still be a mountain lion? " Deaton shook his head and looked at his left and saw Chase in the dog room with the dogs barking " I'm sorry i wish I could help you but I've got a Doberman that needs my attention " " No other ideas? " " I'm sorry. Really I wish could help you but I've got a..." " Yeah. Dog. I heard you. Thanks for humoring me again " and walked into the other room where Chase was looking at all the dogs

Deaton stood behind and watched him closely " So Chase what did you need " Chase turned around at the voice and made his eyes glow and said in a demonic voice " Before you start with the bullshit that you aren't a druid or whatever, I need something from you " Deaton seemed to tense at hearing the change in his voice and said calmly " What do you need " The young werewolf smiled and said " I need a jar of wolfsbane, mountain ash and chains which are strong enough to hold a werewolf down " Deaton walked towards a cabinet and took out two one filled with violet petals and another jar filled with mountain ash and put them on the table and looked back at Chase and said " what're you planning on doing with these " Chase smirked at him " Ever heard of the Zeta werewolves " Deaton stiffened at this and said while looking down at the table " One of the most powerful werewolves to live they all went extinct decades ago when they were all hunted down " Chase nodded his head and took both jars and put them in his backpack and started walking to the door and said before walking out " They aren't extinct anymore "

~~Woods~~

~~Chase's POV~~

I was at a cliff waiting for Quinn to get here but she was taking so long , I heard a branch snap and growling when I turned around I saw a half shifted Peter standing there baring his fangs at me he ran at me sending me of the cliff and falling down my back tree branches and I heard my leg snap when I landed on the ground I was a bloody mess my body was healing but slowly not like how it usually heals I roared out in pain hoping someone will hear me

I was in and out of consciousness and saw Deaton standing over me ' how the fuck is he everywhere at the right time ' and then I blacked out with the last thing I see is Alan Deaton picking me up
