|Third Person's POV|
| One Day before S1 starts|
Nate and holden having chosen the house, over the course of one month they regularly went to beacon hills to transfer the guns, the different kinds of ingredients, the journals and books of Nate's dad, and to secure the house from the supernatural preventing them from entering without him letting them in.
The home is a stately brick house in the suburbs that has at least three bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, an office, an armory in the basement, and an attached garage that has been modified to double as a storage space, a small yard behind the house for training and easy access to preserve.
We see Nate driving in the city early in the morning, sightseeing and memorizing the different shops and buildings for later. He calls Amanda the woman he hired to do the house chores and tells her that she can start tomorrow. After an hour of driving around the city, he goes to his house to set up his clothes and remaining items.
After doing the chores, he eats some food and rests until six o'clock when he decides to train for a couple of hours So he goes to the backyard puts on some music, and starts training. In the meantime, Chris argent returns home next door from a business meeting with the sheriff of the city, tired he decides to prepare some food to eat and call it a night.
While in the kitchen he hears the music and looks out of the window he sees a young man training in the backyard of the next house, a little curious since he didn't know anyone was living there also to get to know his Neighbors, he walks to the fence separating the two houses and greets him.
Nate hears a voice calling him from behind and turns around to see a man around 35 to 40 years old with an athletic and muscular build, with short light brown hair that is flecked with gray and striking light blue-gray eyes, and dressed in casual clothing.
Nate walks to the table to pause the music and put on a sweater after that he goes over to the man to greet him but the man starts first.
"Hello, nice to meet you am your neighbor Chris Argent I heard the music and saw you from the window and decided to introduce myself since we live next to each other I hope am not interrupting your training, am I?" Chris argent pulls out his for a shake and Nate shakes it and speaks.
"No not at all a was just finishing anyway I hope the music didn't bother you" "no" Chris answers and Nate continues.
"Great, I didn't know anyone was living next door my name is Nathaniel Lockwood but I prefer Nate I moved early morning today and am living alone, nice to meet you too".
"Alone? In such a big house a bit overkill don't you think?" Chris was a little surprised and asked.
"Yeah, my parents have passed away and my uncle tries to pumper me since it is me and him now, he is the one who chose it" Nate answers with a sad face still a little sad about his father's death.
Chris seeing Nate's face understands that they must have passed recently and apologized "oh, am sorry you have my condolences" "no it's alright, and thank you".
"Anyway, I would like to talk to you more but better go and take a shower before all the sweat dries on me and have a good sleep am starting school tomorrow," Nate says as he starts to feel cold and wants to take a hot shower and relax.
"Wait you going to school and live alone? And how old are you? What about your uncle?" Chris asks concerned and a little surprised he didn't expect a teenager going to school and living alone to take care of himself
"Am 17 and a couple of months in I was held back a year from all the traveling around the states so I start as a sophomore, uncle rarely is home so it wouldn't make any difference if we were living together and he hire someone to do the chores around the house and prepare food for lunch and dinner while am at school, also a prefer this way" Nate answers taken aback a little by the sudden concern of the man which they know each other for minutes.
"So, it was nice talking to you but I better take that shower before I caught a cold" Nate states and starts moving towards his house while Chris answers.
"Yes of course we don't want that and what do you think of dinner together with my family and getting to know each other better?" Chris asks Clearly taking a liking to the kid and feeling sad for him being all alone at such a young age.
"That would be great thanks and good night" Nate answers as he walks backward so he can face Chris.
"OK, then I'll tell you when until then good night kid" Chris speaks and goes inside his house.
Nate takes a shower rather slowly to enjoy the hot water and thinks that this whole thing might as well work he met a new person and made some plans for the future now the only concern is how the school will be and if he makes some friends.
