19 Ch.18 Invitation.

I was in my car, I was driving towards home. It was starting to get dark. The house was relatively cleaned by the wind, but I still cleaned it up a little and when I was about to close the door, the ring again pulsated. I think that the ring acts as a key.

The cabin had all kinds of books, but most of them were in some old language that I couldn't read and I don't even think that it is even a known language, it's most likely written as a cypher or something. The only thing that I was able to read was the journal he kept.

Old people really liked to document stuff. But it was good for me. I will have some more insight on this town and who knows I might learn some stuff from them. So I packed some of his journals in my bag, so that I could read them later.

When I reached home it was around 6. I parked my car in the driveway and as I was getting out of the car I saw Chris, Allison's dad. He was coming back from somewhere. I hope he wasn't coming from a hunt. I didn't want to talk to him, honestly if I could I would have told mom to change house or something.

I sighed and took my bag and my stick and he said, "You play well." I looked at him and smiled and said, "Thank you." He got off of his truck and walked towards the fence.

He smiled and looked at the car and said, "That's a nice car." I smiled and nodded and he looked at me and then offered his hand and said, "We haven't properly met. I am Chris Argent."

I shook his hand and chuckled and said, "Nice to meet you… Mr Argent. I am Finn…" Before I could finish he said, "Belmont, I know. I have heard a lot about you."

I looked at him and tilted my head and he said, "From my daughter. I don't know if you remember I came to see your game, you played amazing. Have you played Lacrosse before?"

He is fishing, I shook my head and said, "Nah, I wasn't that good, Scott did much better than me. You know Scott right?"

He chuckled darkly and nodded and I said, "Yeah, I played a similar sport, football. Allison didn't tell you that I guess I am just athletic… that's all."

He looked at me and I said, "Well, I have to go, I have chores to do." He chuckled and he said, "Alright, it was nice to meet you, Finn." I nodded and I walked away. I could still feel his eyes drilling holes in the back of my head.

I walked inside the house and I heard him retreat to his home. I sighed and I walked into the house. And I saw mom on the sofa watching TV. She saw me and she said, "Hurry up, I am hungry."

I exhaled and asked, "I still have to make dinner?"

She hummed and said, "Two weeks~"

I sighed and said, "Fine." I dropped my bag on the sofa and went into the kitchen to cook something up quickly.

After dinner was done, I still had to clean the house. It was a little annoying, by no means was I exhausted but I simply didn't want to do it. I was laying on my bed and I couldn't sleep, I was just thinking about why Chris suddenly talked to me like that. Does he suspect me or something?

I got up from my bed and I saw that it was like 1:54 or something. I took a pack of cigarettes and my phone and I went to the roof to smoke. As I climbed out the window, I heard a howl. It was the exact same one from before, the monster is out hunting again. I guess.

I lit the cigarette and I laid down on the roof, after a few minutes. I heard Chris and Allison talking. Chris was going out to pick her sister up, something went wrong with her car. He assured Allison and he went out. I was pretty sure the monster was attacking his sister.

Either she is a hunter or just to spite them could be any of the two. I sighed and I tried to relax. I plugged in my earphones and was listening to music on lowest volume, even then it felt a little loud. As I started to feel a little relaxed, I heard footsteps, I turned to see who it was and it was Allison.

I saw her and turned back again and continued to do what I was doing. She saw this and scoffed. She walked up my side and stood beside me and I looked at her and removed one of my earphones and said, "How was your date?"

She looked at me and said, "So You smoke now? Why are you doing this?"

I looked forward and I said, "It's a long story."

She folded her arms and said, "I have time."

I looked at her and said, "It involves my dad."

She became silent and she shook her head and she asked, "What is it that he did? Or didn't? That you are like this?"

I asked her, "Why do you have to know?"

She raised her arms and said, "Because I am your friend?"

I sighed and I got up and said, "Allison, I appreciate you trying to help and understand me, but you can't. Cause I am never going to tell you anything related to him." I took a puff and I said, "Sometimes things are better left buried " I snubbed the cigarette and I threw it.

I looked at her and her face was riddled with questions and disappointment and sadness I just smiled and said, "Good Night. You should sleep… tomorrow is a school day." I walked into the room and laid on my bed and I tried to sleep.

I woke up in a cold sweat, I was again stuck in that dream with no escape. I took in deep breaths and wiped the sweat off my face.

I got up and walked in front of the mirror to notice if there were any changes in my body and I saw that my height had increased a little. It wasn't anything noticeable.

I just wondered when my body would stop growing? Even Thomas didn't go through these many changes. I exhaled and I put on my running shoes and I went out for a run.

As I got out of my house I saw a yellow car with one of it's windows open. Why was the window open? I shook my head and I followed through my morning routine.

I reached the school and I got out of my car. Today I didn't get a call from Allison. I think that last night had rubbed her off in a bad way, which is kinda good I suppose. The far I am from her the better.

I walked into the school and walked to my locker and I saw Allison there. She saw me and she quickly got her stuff and walked to her class. I walked to my locker and I took my books and I went to biology.

I saw sitting in the class and Erica didn't show up for the class. It was weird that she is normally here before me. I thought maybe she is sick or something? I hope she gets better.

The rest of the classes went by normal. I didn't have any overlapping classes with Scott or Stiles today. So I was a little out of the loop about what was happening with the monster but I am pretty sure that the monster had attacked Allison's aunt.

Even during lunch I was quiet and Allison didn't talk to me. Lydia saw us and I sighed, cause I know she must be thinking of something weird. But fortunately she didn't bother talking to me about it.

After school ended. I got out of the school. I was walking to my car, when I heard a continuous honking of a car and I turned to see that same guy, I saw that day in practice. He looked like shit. He looked pale and dead. I could also smell blood, fresh blood along with some herbs.

I saw Scott running towards the guy. I heard Stiles say, "Are you kidding me, this guy is everywhere." The people behind Stiles also started to honk and it was getting a lot of attention. They walked up to the guy and Scott said, "What are you doing here?"

The guy groaned and gasped and said, "I was shot."

Stiles softly said, "He's not looking too good dude."

Scott asked, "Why aren't you healing?"

He sharply breathed and said, "I can't." He said after a pause, "I was shot with a different kind of bullet."

Stiles was excited and asked, "A silver bullet?"

Derek looked at him and said, "No, you idiot."

Scott looked away and said, "Wait. That's what she meant when she said you had 48 hours."

The guy looked at him and said, "What? Who?"

Scott said, "The woman who shot you." Suddenly the guy groaned in pain and I saw his blue eyes glow all of a sudden and Scott looked around and said, "What are you doing? Stop that."

He shook his head and he said, "That's what I am trying to tell you. I can't."

People started to get out of their car and Scott saw this and grabbed the guy and put him in Stiles car. The guy said, "I need you to find out what kind of bullet they used."

Scott said, "How am I supposed to do that?"

The guy said, "She must be an Argent, She is with them."

Scott asked, "Why should I help you?"

The guy said, "Because you need me."

Scott agreed and I saw Allison coming out of her and walking towards Scott. Scott said, "Hey, get him out of here."

Stiles grunted and said, "I hate you so much for this."

Allison walked up to Scott and asked, "Hey, what is he doing here?"

Scott shook his head and smiled and said, "Nothing, Stiles was just giving him a ride. Uh, it's a long story."

Allison squinted and said, "I thought you said, you weren't friends with him."

Scott nodded and rambled on trying to save his lyin ass and he said, "Uh, we are still studying together yeah? So I'll meet you back at your place."

Allison nodded and said, "Yeah."

Scott kissed Allison on the cheek and said, "Okay bye."

Allison then was walking away and she saw me and looked away and walked to her car. I sighed and said, "This is annoying." I then got in my car and it took like a minute to get out of the school.

I went to hang out with Ashley. She was happy to see me today, since I didn't show up yesterday. She, as usual, tried to tackle me but I grabbed her and she licked my face vigorously. I put her down and she ran to the cave and grabbed her ball and ran to me.

I placed my bag on the branch of the tree and we started to play catch. I also talked to her about the cabin and she was not bothered by it. But when I told her about Allison, she seemed a little upset. I still don't know why but I find it cute.

I was finally starting to feel at peace even with these monsters and powers. I finally had a friend even though four legged and canine, but still a friend with whom I could share my day with.

My mom was happy and we were finally letting go of it all, but the memories and experiences I and my mom have been trying to run from will come back to haunt us again.

Ashley was laying next to me with her head on my lap. I was petting her head while I was reading the journal.

I was curious as to how the ring worked since it was mentioned that the ring used wolf's bane and the Nemeton Ash. And as far as I know wolf's bane is supposed to be poisonous to use. So how can I wear it?

"The healing capabilities of Thomas is beyond what I have witnessed from other werewolves. His wounds heal faster than anyone I have ever seen before."

"I asked him to help me solve a little doubt that I had about his powers and he was excited and happy to help me and to learn more about him.

I put a miniscule dose of wolf's bane in his body and surprisingly he was able to detoxify it. Although it was a miniscule dose others might still sustain burns and horrible pain.

Although he confirmed that he experienced the pain. He simply stated that he used greater than this. His abilities to heal and the power to turn into a wolf really puts him at the top."

As I was reading this I received a text from my mom, "Come home, we have been invited to dinner at Argent's."

Hey guys I hope you like this chapter. Some of you will be like okay so now wolfsbane won't do anything to him? That's bs. But I said that, it's a miniscule dose

And I never said that he can't be killed by it. It can kill him in good amount. It's like how in vampire diaries. Vervain can kill you in high doses but many of them take it in small amounts regularly to build tolerance. It's similar.
