Chapter 1 Gabrielle

It was the last day of my holidays. I wish I had used them effectively and I regret this all the time (which means I never use them properly). I am super excited and thrilled to go to school. Ya, I know it is not the most exciting thing for everybody but that the only I can spend most of the time with my friends.

While I was thinking or rather imagining about all of these my mom enters my room informing me that they need to talk to me in the hall.

I hope it is not anything bad because my mom didn't smile when she left my room.

As I enter, I see both of my parents seated anxiously waiting for me. I take a seat in front of them.

No sooner did I sit I noticed a mug of hot chocolate which was for me. He said that we were moving out of this house because he wants to renovate this house.

Today we were going to visit the apartment that we were moving into and meet the landlord and the neighbors. This not something that I was happy about but for now I have no problem.

They told that I have less than an hour to get ready. I pulled out my favorite shirt and wore a flared skirt with it. I put my hair up into a messy bun and went back on my phone.

An hour later....

My mom comes in asks me put on shoes so we could leave. I dragged myself from the couch and slipped into my white sneakers.I started to feel bad about leaving this house even for a while since it the most comfortable and warmest place. The mom's voice pulled me back to the present.

I closed the door, stepped out of the house and jumped in to the car. As we were driving to the apartment I realized the route was very familiar.
