38 Chapter 36: Damage Control

After watching the Hulk and the Abomination charge each other for the first time, Damien went to clear the area. Using the scanners in his suit he went around the buildings to clear people from the area of the fight. Following the two monsters during their brawl to make sure that collateral damage was kept to a minimum. At the same time, he had drones covering the fight from three different angles for research and possibly help change how Hulk is viewed. Once they started jumping from rooftops Damien wasn't that far behind. And when the Helicopter fired on the building Damien was inside.

Using his nanite gauntlets to form a shield he was able to protect a small family in one of the apartments. They had been unable to leave when the alert started due to the young children and thought they would be safe inside. Hiding behind a shield in constant flux, rippling from every shell that hit it. After the helicopter was brought down, Damien went to make sure that the flames didn't spread from the fight. Damien continued going around and preventing more damage. Catching or deflecting errant debris from people and major parts of structures. Moving people away from the battle zone. Even going so far as to make sure that most of the damages to buildings, roads, and vehicles was cataloged to be later added to the damage report by the general.

Everything was over soon and Damien even got footage of Hulk saving the helicopter and choking the Abomination unconscious. Finally watching as the spotlight from a news helicopter shines down on Hulk as he walks towards Betty. Then jumping away through the roof tops and leaving the city. Damien then sends the compiled video, showing Hulk stopping the Abomination from wrecking the city and harming others. Even showing how he saved the copter full of military personnel. When the media later broadcast about two 'monsters' fighting in Harlem, the teleprompters always changed to Hulk saving Harlem from a monster.

But currently, Damien was going back through the entire area with his scanners and having the nanites in his suit destroy any blood, from either the Hulk or Abomination,left at the scene. Just to make sure that no one was later affected by the leftover radiation. With all that done, Damien then went invisible and used the repulsors in the shoes of his suit to fly to the nearest teleport tube. Using it to go to Star Labs with all the drones and materials he gained from Stern's Lab.

Having a separate room in the Lab/Experiments sector of the hidden, Damien walks in to put away all the samples, notes, and materials gained from Sterns. Having already prepared multiple equipment and tools necessary for the study, experimentation and storage of radioactive materials. Including but not limited to Gamma Radiation and the radiated blood of the two monsters. Having the drones download all scrubbed data from all the machines, equipment, and computers from Sterns' lab and office to the server. Damien then has the machines in the room begin a complete scan and test of all data and samples.
