Chapter 32 - [Surviving The Dungeon #3]
At Base....
After returning to my base, I immediately settle down to see what kind of haul I get on my journey to find a Fire source to melt the ores I got, to make a 2.5 meter long rod coated with silver for my [Pile Bunker].
I already finished the base of the [Pile Bunker]. I literally just need a Fire to melt the ores to create ammo, and I need it because of another thing I just found out recently. The skin of the undead is too brittle, it easily breaks off. I had 2 options; either I needed a fire to melt the skins of the undead and mashed them together to make it stronger, better, and more elastic. or i need to find an alternative that can replace the skin of the undead, that's stronger.
I'm more inclined on the former, because I really need to get out of this dungeon, and not go to the lower floors, plus this is a good exp farm for Van once I'm out of this precious "Farming Site".
Yeah "Precious" because I'm gonna take the ownership of the dungeon for my own personal use.

Settling down, I recall all the possible details that I know of in Van's Novel, to find possible ways to fasten my way out of this Dungeon. After I reached a certain point in my memories, I suddenly recalled a name in the novel.
'Princess Levia, future ally of Van, Former Princess of Talosheim, and a Ghost, not just any Ghost, a flame Ghost'.
But.... i just need a simply Fire Ghost because base on my memories to become a Flame Ghost is literally hard, it has a set of rules that Vida implanted for its people, that's why you can't just encounter a Rank 5 or above Monsters anywhere except for Dungeons, but the chances of those happening is close to you getting no bitches.
Plus I cannot be sure if something died in this dungeon by the cause of Fire. The only known method I can think of is, if something died by Fire, it's definitely a human that's afraid of the dark, so afraid he/she will cause a section of the dungeon to be burned out.
After recalling what I found in my memories, I stand up and stretch every part of my body.
'Well I can still cling on to the possibility that someone died in this dungeon by the cause of Fire. Besides, I never really explore all the hallways that I didn't mark, afraid of the danger that lurks within'.
'Yeah, I'm gonna search all the hallways that i didn't mark'. I thought while tightening the blindfold that I'm wearing.
'Fire is a good chance to train my reaction time, it's dangerous, and it's alive, if the dungeon even had a Fire Ghost that is'.
Walking away out of the base as I used my senses to guide me in the border of the marked place.

POV CHANGED:
Waking up, I found myself in a familiar yet unfamiliar place.
Traversing on these seemingly endless hallways. only to Stop when I found myself in an unfamiliar yet familiar place, a place that I feel like I should have known what the cause of this familiarity.
A place I should have known before I turned into a wisp like creature. Looking around in this hall as I notice the place riddled with ashes, walls scorched, ceilings cracked and a floor riddled with a scorched person that I sensed familiarity with.
Coming closer to observe who or what this person is only to see a mangled body riddled with burn marks that certainly wouldn't recognize by sheer degree of Scorching burn marks that the person receives, and from the looks of it, it recently just died here.
As I was continuously observing the body, my mind suddenly got a headache.
"ARGH..... NOOOOO! WHAT IS THIS!".
Screaming as I recalled what just happened, what happened to this place, what happened to me.
"ARGGHHH....!" As I screamed I didn't notice the Flames swirling around me as it outbursts causing the room to bathe in Fire.
After my little outburst, I recalled everything that has happened to me, my life, my daughters and lastly the memory of why I'm here in the first place....
FLASHBACK:
Running away as fast as possible while carrying my daughter or what's left of her to which I didn't care at that time as a witness my 2 other daughters died in front of my eyes as the Kingdom begins to fall at the hands of humans.

Before The Fall....
Running into every alley to find my 2 daughters, as I witness people burning every house, killing every single citizen that resides in the kingdom.
As I was about to come close into the center of the kingdom where the witnesses that I asked last saw my 2 daughters. A titan suddenly jumped in front of me, causing me to get knocked out a few meters away from him.
"DO YOU NOT SEE THE SITUATION THE KINGDOMS CURRENTLY IN?!". Yelled the Titan as he swung his greatsword downward at the cement road, sending a huge Shockwave. causing the fire to intensify, while cement road formed a few cracks.
"M-MY D-DAUGHTERS ARE STILL AT THE CENTER!". I screamed at him while running to the center to take my daughters away from this place. Only to be stopped by a huge hand, as I was about to ignore him stopping me, I suddenly felt a strong bloodlust coming from the Titan.
"I'm sorry but.... it seems your 2 Daughters..... didn't survive". Said the Titan as he tightened his hold onto his weapon.
Hearing what he said I immediately set my sights on the army that's marching to us.
Only to witness one of my daughters' head attached on a flagpole, while I saw a headless body wearing a bracelet that I recognize attached to a wooden cross.
"BEHOLD! THESE ARE THE BODIES THAT COMMIT AN ATROCIOUS ACT BY SIDING WITH THE MONSTERS, THAT SLUT OF A GOD THAT YOU WORSHIP!". Preach the pope as he ordered the knights to raise the bodies higher.
"N-NO, W-WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?! THIS ISN'T RIGHT! YOUR COMMITTING A MASS GENOCIDE ON A KINGDOM THAT'S JUST WANTS TO LIVE PEACEFULLY!". I screamed trying to find answers, only to meet a disgusted look of the pope.
"INSOLENT FOOL, ALL OF THE HERETICAL CREATURES THAT LIVED ON THIS KINGDOM, ORDERED BY THE CHURCH OF MIRG-SHIELD NATION, TO EXTERMINATE THE NATION BUILT BY THE HANDS OF THAT WRETCHED WITCH AND THAT FALLEN HERO. SO OUR GOD, ALDA ORDERED US, A MEMBER OF THE ALDA FACTION TO EXTERMINATE AND BURN THESE LOWLY CREATURES TO THE GROUND, KILL THEM!". Screamed the pope as he ordered the archers to shoot at us.
"What could an E rank adventurer like you do in this situation? Go! I'll slow them down, you go take your remaining daughter out of here and follow the princess!". Said the Titan before sprinting at the marching army before proceeding to cause havoc.

Witnessing the gruesome deaths, I immediately run away to my house to take anything I can take. After putting the stuff that are important to me, I immediately go upstairs to take away my remaining daughter out of this falling kingdom.
As I ran upstairs I immediately went to the room my daughter resides in, as I was about to open the door I heard people's voices and laughter residing at the other side of the door.
