School Bullies Down

"Oh second miss Swares it's you."

Mercy said as if just seeing Melanie now. Gamal put his fist on his mouth to stop himself from laughing after seeing Melanie's state.

"Mercy what do you mean by this?"

Mercy looked even more confused.

"Mean what? I'm just greeting you. Is that bad? Gammy did I do bad?"

With teary eyes Mercy turned to Gamal.

"No it's not. Second miss Swares don't be so petty. You know how clumsy she is I'm sure she didn't mean it."

"Yes I didn't mean it. Your shoes made you taller than me today and I couldn't get your attention so I used a chair. But I accidentally poured my milk on you. I'm sorry. I can buy you a new outfit if you want."

Mercy blinked excitedly as if finding a way to really please Melanie.

"But you did it willingly."

Melanie stomped her foot feeling frustrated that no one was willing to help her out. She looked so humiliated with her already tight crop shirt clinging to her even more now. Her makeup looking smudged from being wet and her well styled hair sticking to her face.

She really wanted to kill this girl Infront of her.

"And you willingly destroyed my big bro's image Infront of his.. fiancee."

Mercy looked like the last word had drained all her energy out. Amber had an 'are you kidding me?' expression but quickly adjusted back to her expressionless face. Mercy shivered and put back her cold look.

"Did I say it wrong? Your dear brother locks my sister up as if she is some kind of accessory. And besides she doesn't love him so why bother."

Mercy was about to retort back but stopped because what Melanie said was true.

Amber didn't love Tristan.

She never defended him. Only bringing more and more troubles.

Mercy glared at Amber and got down from the chair.

"That still doesn't give you the right to call my big bro names Melanie."

"And what gives you the right to humiliate me like this?!"

Melanie said and pulled Mercy back by her arm when she was about to walk away. Mercy frowned.

"Let go."

"Or else what? Apologize."

Gamal wanted to help Mercy but she signaled him to stop.

"Sure I will. But you'll apologize to big bro too."

"What did I do? I was just talking with my sister and you an outsider of unknown origin dared to look for trouble."

Outsider.

It's been long since Mercy heard that word. Yes she wasn't related to Gamal and Tristan. She's just an abandoned child they helped.

Mercy smiled and pulled Melanie by her hair and banged her head on a desk. The girls screamed running away from the scene while some students took videos with their phones.

Mercy wanted to pull Melanie from the floor but was held back by Gamal.

"Don't get your hands dirty. At least you're not a product of infidelity."

Gamal said looking at Melanie who trembled with anger and stood up.

"Who are you calling a bastard?!"

Gamal raised an eyebrow.

"Did I call anyone's name or say bastard? Come on use your head for once. Why are you suddenly angry? Look because I'm a very peaceful person, I'll let this slide. Okay?"

Melanie watched as Gamal and Mercy went to take their seats. She was so angry she didn't know what to do. She turned to look at Amber with an aggrieved face but was dumbfounded. Amber was actually sleeping.

In the past Amber would have rushed up to defend Melanie without caring to know if she was right or wrong but this time she was just sleeping?!

Melanie stormed out of the class not knowing what else to do.

The classes went on peacefully but some students posted the video and criticized Mercy and pitied Melanie. The school forum was full with anger and disgust towards Mercy.

@who does she think she is?

@Just because Gamal keeps her by his side she thinks she can do anything.

Gamal kept reading the comments and the frown on his face kept getting worse. He pulled Mercy's phone stopping her from seeing them.

"Eat your food. Forget about them."

Right now they were at the cafeteria and people still kept looking at Mercy with hatred. She didn't actually mind as she happily ate her food in peace. Gamal's phone rang and he excuses himself to answer it.

Just then, five boys surrounded her table with angry faces. They looked like they were ready to kill.

Mercy didn't bother to look at them and continued eating but one poured her milkshake on her head. The entire cafeteria became quiet.

"You've grown wings right? It's been just three months and you're already changing."

Mercy hit the table and stood up. She turned to look at the idiots that disturbed her.

As expected. Her very own school bullies.

Not like they were close but they always made sure to cause trouble for her and she never reacted. Just silently sit as they bully her.

Today they heard she actually fought with someone and were wondering what happened.

"You react now? Wow that's cool. It's been so long didn't you miss us?"

Mercy looked at the boy standing in front of her and decided to let it slide and walk away. She stood up to leave but he pulled her back and made her fall down leaving a bruise on her elbow.

Mercy lost it.

She stood up and pulled a tray from a table throwing the food down.

"Hey."

The student complained and Mercy pulled out a bundle of money from her pocket and threw at the kid and slammed the tray on the bully's face. He staggered back and immediately wanted to curse her but she didn't give him the time and hit him again.

"Are you all stupid?! Hold her down!"

The boy shouted at his followers who finally reacted and managed to pull Mercy with great difficulty.

"You dare to hit me?!"

The boy spat out a mouthful of blood glaring at Mercy. He raised his hand to hit her but another hand stopped him.

"Big bro I'll call you back."

Gamal said and dropped the call and twisted the boy's hand. The boy screamed in pain while struggling to break free. One of his lackeys rushed and attacked Gamal. Mercy bit one's hand and he screamed letting her go and she attacked the other one. The bitten boy wanted to attack her but a slender hand caught his hand and wasted no time in dealing with him.

The last follower staggered back in fear and tried to run away but Mercy who had beaten the other boy to unconsciousness pulled him back.

"Enough all of you!"

A loud voice sounded through the cafeteria but it didn't stop Mercy or Gamal who kept beating them that they started bleeding. Amber had only broken the one's hand and was silently watching.

It had to be said that when these two were angry it wasn't easy to calm them down. They could calm themselves but now both were angry.

The dean didn't know what else to do. He called the security guards who pulled them back with a lot of difficulty. Their white clothes now stained red.

As they were pulled away, all the students wearily made way for them.
