Graduation

"She is heavenly," Liam said with a small smile hugging his lips.

"Did you find her?" Ethan asked as he followed Liam's intense gaze.

"Is it her?" Ethan asked.

Liam didn't answer him immediately but continued looking at that someone who was also looking back at him with black eyes filled with emotions that he couldn't describe with words.

"It is her," Liam answered with so much confidence.

"How do you know?" Ethan questioned again.

"I just... know... I don't think I am wrong. She is the one." Liam finally tore his gaze away from that magnetic eyes and turned to his brother

Ethan glanced at his brother and nodded. He trusted his brother's instincts. He turned back to the crowd as he didn't want to interrupt his brother anymore.

Liam faced those deep black eyes again. The pair of eyes was still watching him with fascination, admiration, and a lot of things.

He felt like it was a sin to not look at the angel, his angel. Her eyes, her nose, her lips, her hair, everything, just everything felt like she was born just for him. Just for his eyes to adore. Just to match him. He so badly wanted to run to her but controlled himself. He had all the time in the world to talk to her, touch her, feel her presence. So he had to be patient, just for 4 hours.

On the other side of the hall,

Elle looked at her friend who seemed like a lovestruck fool. She was almost on the verge of flooding this vast hall with her drool. She felt a strong urge to slap the back of her head. And... she did it.

"What the hell are you doing? You are looking like an angelic creep. Looking at your drool every guy will run like lightning" Elle's voice broke Ava out of her dreamland.

She hurriedly wiped her mouth and glared at her friend.

"What are you glaring at me for? Instead of wasting your time admiring that block face, think if you can catch his attention. He should notice you among the other witches in the hall."

"Are you calling me a witch, now?" Ava felt like dumping her friend now!

"Hehe, obviously no. I am just calling the other girls drooling over your guy witches" Elle explained immediately.

Ava raised her brows at her friend's suspicious behaviour, "Why are you explaining to me? It's more natural for you to agree and call me more names."

Elle gave a sheepish grin, "Well, this is called boot licking, Baby. If you get married to the Qins. I will make you my cupid and religiously follow your footsteps and enter as the second young master's beautiful missus!"

Ava rolled her eyes. She could still not believe that her friend was serious about Ethan.

"How many days are you gonna crush on him?" Ava teased.

"Shut up, I gonna love him with all my kidney, lungs, heart: all my life. Which means "Forever"!!! Never again will I turn my eyes and heart away to another. Because... there exists no one better than him" Elle answered while nudging her friend.

"There is... Liam... is the best of the best." Ava told her smugly.

"As if his stone could compare to my hero, Hmph. You look at your man while I look at mine... AVA SHITTTT!" Elle cursed as her eyes turned into saucers.

"What happened?" Ava asked in concern.

"Shit!! Bloody Holy Moly!!! Liam is looking at YOU!!!!!" Elle nearly screamed from excitement.

Ava stilled as if time had stopped altogether in her space. She just looked at Elle wide-eyed without even daring to breathe normally. Elle was still watching Liam and her favourite Ethan who is also looking at Ava currently. She watched as Ethan turned elsewhere and focused on his things.

Elle turned towards her and shook her shoulders, "Are you a dummy? What are you doing? He is still looking at you! Look at him, damn it. Not me!!!"

Elle forcefully turned Ava's head towards her man. She then left her friend in her Lala land. She wanted the Lala land too but unfortunately for her, her Romeo was not paying her any attention.

Elle felt like sulking now! So she did sulk. But poor her, there was nobody to pacify her.

Ava felt electric shock coursing through every cell in her body as soon as her eyes met his. She felt her entire surroundings blurring into obliviousness and her entire senses were just focused on one person.

She looked into his deep eyes. Despite the distance, she knew how dangerously beautiful his eyes were. Endless secrets and passion were buried in that eyes. She felt robbed of everything looking into those eyes.

Ava's lips blossomed into a beautiful smile as her recognition flashed in his eyes. She felt like she was floating on the moon. No words were exchanged, no hints exchanged still he knew that she was the girl. And she knew that he had found her. And that was all it took her to give the assurance that he was the one for her.

Moments passed by as they continued to look at each other. The graduation ceremony started, but nothing seemed to enter their vision. They were lost in their own world. And the time came when they called out for Ava, who was the "Summa cum laude".

"Ava!! Gooo! They are calling out for you," Elle pushed Ava.

"Huh?!... Ahh. Yeah, Yes," Ava stuttered and stood up to receive the top student honour. And on the other side. They called out to Liam to give the honour and certificate to Ava. Liam stood and adjusted his suit. His eyes met Ava once again before he averted.

Ava stepped onto the stage and faced the love of her life. She felt that today's moments were surreal as she still couldn't believe that these were true.

She got the recognition from him first, and then they passed electric current through their eyes forever. And now, she is receiving her college honour from him. What a fantastic day!

Liam looked into her eyes and her lips tugged into a smile slowly but subtly. Ava felt so shy. Standing so close to him, him looking into her eyes. It was making her so damn nervous. She gingerly looked into eyes and passed a shy smile at him.

Liam handed her the bouquet and her certificate and congratulated her.

"Congratulations!" Liam's deep voice was heard. He extended his hand towards her.

Ava's fingers trembled as she gave her hand. She shook his hand softly and smiled.

"Thank you!"
